This is a MD-based chain. MD is below the Mason Dixon line, so they probably do a better fried chicken than we do, right? We tried them waaaaay late night over the weekend. 2:30am and they were hoppin'. Cars coming from all directions. The chicken was greasy, but tasted pretty good. There are no trans-fats in their chicken. We don't expect much with fried chicken, so this was a nice surprise. I can't compare to KFC because it has been at least 15 years since I had anything there, but it was definitely a nice crunchy coating on it, that tasted addictive. They offer 8 pieces of dark meat for $7, or 2-2-2 dark/white for $14. We took the cheaper deal. It was tender, fully cooked, surprisingly fresh (especially for 2:30am), and definitely a good value. We got gas too, to complete the experience. The facility is all new construction, which always makes it a nicer encounter, especially when it's a gas station. According to the articles we read, this is their first site in the area, but they plan to open other locations in Ridley Park, and Concord Twp, in the future. Watch out, Wawa! ...and KFC!

There is a fairly wide selection of food and drinks to choose from, but at the end of the day, it's still fast food. Very easy to get a quick and super filling bite, but somewhat greasy. I can see how it's popular with its convenience, but it's not somewhere I see myself going often unless it's late.
