They have a large sign that advertised $3.69/gallon for regular gas (which is actually already higher than other BP stations nearby), but once you actually drive up you see that the credit card price is THIRTY cents more per gallon! I typically only see $0.10 cents for using credit at other gas stations.. never $0.30 more. Plus, I thought BP was known to have the same cash and credit price? Do yourself a favor and go to the nearby BP by Marathon Parkway which has same cash and credit price for $3.45/gallon.

Pros: NY State Inspection is quick here - done in about 15 to 20 minutes! Bathroom is pretty clean and doesn't require a key or a code. Seems like a lot of people bring their car here for repairs, the parking lot can be pretty full at times. Interaction between Peter and the other employees appear to be respectful and professional. Cons: Higher gas prices than other gas stations in the area, but credit card and cash payments are the same price. It's about 30 cents per gallon higher than paying cash at the Shell on Willets Point Boulevard (where there is about a 10 cents different between credit and cash payments). I'm glad gas isn't 5 bucks per gallon anymore!

He always looks out for what is best for you. This is why we are still bringing our cars to Barneys, and still extremely happy with their service. Vito, the manager, is just a great guy. This was quite a surprise to me because I recently had an oil change done on the car at the BMW dealership service center and they said my tires were in great shape. When I stated this to the mechanic, his reply was, "Then bring it to BMW to be inspected because I'm not willing to risk my license." I did just that. My car passed inspection at BMW and was told that my tires are in perfect shape. So either the mechanic here has no clue how to measure tire treads OR he saw an opportunity to try to get someone to purchase new tires and have them installed for absolutely no reason. I went to this 711 around midnight to pick up a six pack of beer and two limeade redbulls. I…read moreobained the redbulls first and then went to the alcohol section. I looked through the glass display to see which IPA was available. The Goose IPA was on the lower/middle shelf. Thus, I was "window shopping." When I went to open the glass door, a six pack (bottles) of a DIFFERENT beer immediately fell off the TOP of the shelf and shattered on the floor, spraying the drinks on my clothes and sneakers. I never touched any of the items inside of the case. Thus, the pack of beer was positioned precariously prior to my arrival to this 711. I opened the display with normal force. Long story short, anyone who would have opened this case would have ended in the same result/accident. A 711 employee came over after the incident; I did not see his name but he was in this 30's/40's with dark hair. I apologized immediately. The first thing he said to me was not, "Are you okay?" It was, "you are going to have to pay for this." I responded that I was not going to pay for this and explained how the beers fell from the top shelf when I simply opened the cabinet. I explained that I NEVER even had the opportunity to TOUCH any beverage. He responded, "if you needed something from there, you should have told me first." This is not a 711 location where the alcohol is locked; anyone is free to collect their beverages and bring them to the counter to pay. The employee repeated to me, "whatever happened, you are going to have to pay for this." I reiterated that I was not responsible for the improper placement of the drinks on the top shelf. I suggested that he watch the video recording; I noticed a camera nearby. When he said again that I was going to pay, I recommended to call the police so this can be sorted out. After this statement, he took my two redbulls off the coffee county and moved them away to another side and stated, "you cannot buy these; you need to leave and go somewhere else." I was not going to continue with this unprofessional employee and left the store...with no purchases in hand and a horrible "taste" in my mouth. I can see now from Yelp reviews that this location has 2.5 stars and pretty terrible customer service. From going there this morning, I feel that 2.5 stars is GENEROUS. What a ridiculous experience; shame on this franchise!
