There's generally no wait, even though it's conveniently located next to the LIE 495 highway. Gas station also has a mechanic shop next door, although I have never used them, I have called and asked for pricing. Pricing is reasonable. Last time was for a nail in my tire, they were about $5 more than my usual mechanic shop... and they said they're too busy to accommodate me, and to come the next day. If you are coming here for gas, it's fast. Getting car serviced? Then it'll probably take some time. Staff at the gas station and the shop seem nice.

Needed to pay cash so I went inside to take care of the cash issue. Not the most friendly people around. I get the feeling they are more car repair than gas, or gas is just a way to get repairs....any way, last time here. Gives me a bit of the creeps.

Yes, you read that right. Pull up here and someone will come out and help pump gas into your car. There is no minimum and no obligation, just simply a credit card and a smile. At first I thought it was a shady ploy at a cash grab and go, but I got over it quickly and felt like I was no longer in NYC. Gas prices are already incredibly pricey throughout the tri-state and so this isn't exactly a deal friendly spot. However, it is pretty nice not having to exit the car when the weather isn't so ideal. It's rarely so busy that I can't get a pump or someone to help but I've been quite fortunate to enjoy quality service every time. And of course, if you feel like it, drop a dollar to the attendant. It might not fly out west, but it's always appreciated in NY.

Good marketing but false advertising along the highway and Horace Harding Expressway. Since I was already there, my car got a full tank of gas. There are seven gas stations within a couple miles of this gas station so the prices stay competitive.

It just the location and anything special about the particular location that changes. I love BJ's gas stations for so many reasons with the number 1 being the cost of gas. This is an incredible perk to the membership especially if you take advantage of buying the items that actually reduce the per gallon price even further. What I save in gasoline prices more than make up for the membership costs and... I get a great cash bank bonus along with BJ rewards. It's definitely a win-win to be a member. I made the mistake of shopping after I purchased gas and both items were part of their "reduction in gas prcice" selection. The stations are spacious with an easy access wherever they're located. The long hoses make it easy now matter which side you come from. There is always an attendant on duty so if you need help, someone is close by. Another nice perk is free air. A $1.25 is not a lot for an air machine but if your uses it a couple of times a month you save yourself another $30.00. My tires always seem the need to be refilled... Highly recommended!…read more The "check engine light" on my Passat has been intermittently on and off for the past few months due to low fuel pressure warning. I took it to a VW dealer and was told that the fuel pressure sensor was faulty. A few hours after the sensor was replaced, the same problem came back again. I took the car back to the dealer and was told this time that the whole fuel delivery unit has to be replaced, for over $1000. I hesitated, and took the car to another auto repair shop for a second opinion, and after some diagnosis, the mechanic impatiently gave up and said such intermittent problems were very hard to catch and I should take the car back to the VW dealer as they have better diagnosis equipment. I was glad that I then made the decision to take my car to Great Savvy Services for help. A mechanic named Rick welcomed me and promised to do a thorough examination. He hooked a fuel pressure reader to my car and really took the time to patiently diagnose any potential problem. Eventually, he believed that it was still due to a faulty low fuel pressure sensor. I was at beginning in disbelief as the VW dealer had supposedly replaced it, and asked him to double check the fuel pump to see if it works properly. But Rick told me that my fuel pump was definitely good and affirmed it's the fuel pressure sensor. Rick was right: After he ordered a new sensor and installed it, the "check engine light" never came back on again! And while working on the diagnosis, he also replaced one of the faulty front parking lights on my car for free.

I was told come in. I get there the guy at the counter was so helpful and nice ask me to give the mechanic William a minute and he will be able to help me. William is asking me why I don't have the wheel lock for my car?, where did I purchase the car from? alot of unnecessary questions. I asked for a used tire doesn't even look and says we don't have your size, So I asked to put on the spare. He gave me a hard time had a nasty attitude and tried to over charge me. I left, NEVER GO TO THIS GAS STATION!!!.
