I've been using this gas station for many years. The prices are usually the same or lower than the other BP gas stations. Typically there is usually no wait which is very nice and favorable. Just tried to get an inspection on my BMW SUV here. I was told that my tires needed to be replaced because they would not pass inspection. This was quite a surprise to me because I recently had an oil change done on the car at the BMW dealership service center and they said my tires were in great shape. When I stated this to the mechanic, his reply was, "Then bring it to BMW to be inspected because I'm not willing to risk my license." I did just that. My car passed inspection at BMW and was told that my tires are in perfect shape. So either the mechanic here has no clue how to measure tire treads OR he saw an opportunity to try to get someone to purchase new tires and have them installed for absolutely no reason. I'm not sure which scenario is worse. This service center can't be trusted, and I will never go back. I won't even buy gas here either. read more

This has been my go to gas station for years. The prices are generally the same or lower than the other BP gas stations within a 2 to 3 mile radius. There's generally no wait, even though it's conveniently located next to the LIE 495 highway. Gas station also has a mechanic shop next door, although I have never used them, I have called and asked for pricing. Pricing is reasonable. Last time was for a nail in my tire, they were about $5 more than my usual mechanic shop... and they said they're too busy to accommodate me, and to come the next day. Come on Yelp. Please give us the option to give zero stars because this place deserves it! I was lured here because gas was way cheap. I needed to fill up my SUV and was so excited that I was able to fill up for less than $25. I don't drive long distances. So after a day of my regular commute (about 14 miles), I was surprised that my full tank of gas was down a quarter of a tank. WTF?! The gas is so watered down. Live around the block but rather go anywhere else for any service. No one there greets you and speak to you as if you are begging to give them business. The supervisor there is absolutely rude and unprofessional. This morning was the last straw. I brought my BMW there for an inspection and was told by one person out of inspection label while the next mechanic ask me to go to dealer because they more "professional". That is an outrageous lie! I was once one of those new people, and it is because of the great, honest service I received from this wonderful man, that I continue to give him my business. The manager by the name of "AMAN" has a very dry attitude and not friendly to a customer. Unless you're his regular customer. He doesn't want to take care walk in customer for minors problem. I spent 8 dollars on the vacuum, it's ripping people off I timed how much it gives you for the 2 dollars it only gives you 3 minutes or under. My car was making noise, brought it to that repair shop for an inspection to see what makes noise, after inspection one of the mechanics said that struts were broken and that was the reason of the noise but was assured after replacing the struts the noise will be gone. Paid $800 for struts replacement but it did not change anything, the noise was still coming out, the manager told me to drive for one more week to see if the noise will go away, one week passed, still the exact same noise was cumming out , so it was not the struts to blame for the noise, the shop did not find the real cause of the noise , the mechanic just assumed it was struts to blame for the noise, sorry i am not paying $800 for the wrong assumption and somebody's mistake ! Sorry i am not paying $800 for something that i did not come for, i came specifically to eliminate the noise because the noise was very annoying, and if it was really the struts to blame then i would definitely pay $800 , i would definitely pay $800 if it was absolutely necessary to replace the struts to eliminate the the noise, but it was not the case, next day went to a different shop and paid another $800 thanks to a more professional shop, who found the real reason of the noise, it turned out to be not struts making noise but caliper in the brake system was making noise and it has nothing to do with struts after replacing caliper the noise was gone, it was mechanics fault , he did not find the real reason of the noise and i am not paying for somebody's mistake! and you wouldn't pay for somebody's mistake either ! read more

Came here for an oil change, since I live close by and would rather not have to drive 1 hr to my trusted mechanic for a simple oil change. After waiting 10 mins for guy to get off his phone, he gives me a price for a synthetic oil change. No problem. I give him my phone number and come back 1 hr later to see if it was done. He informs me he found a nail in the tire and plugged it for me without even giving me a phone call to ask me if it was ok. I NEVER plug my tires, I always patch them. I get the bill and its $14 more than he quoted me. Never coming back here and will tell everyone I know to avoid them. My father and I have both brought our cars to Aman. He is always honest about the repairs that are needed. He always charges me reasonable prices. First of all, I wish there was a "no star" rating, b/c this experience doesn't even deserve one star! I went for an oil change at the BP gas station on Marathon Pkwy and Horace Harding Expressway. I've been going to this service station for oil changes since I moved to the area and never had a problem until today. When they lifted my car up to change my oil, they called me into the garage to tell me about some other issues with my car. I told them not to worry about it b/c I just had those parts replaced and I would take the car back to my mechanic to have them look at it. One of the employees (I think he was the manager) said to me, "Well why didn't you just take your car to your mechanic for an oil change?" I told him my mechanic was far away and that for a routine oil change, I always come here b/c it is close to my house. When I was paying, the same employee said to me, "You know you should bring your car to your mechanic next time for an oil change?" So I asked why? and he said "b/c everyone does things differently and we like to do everything for our customers." I replied, "so are you telling me that I shouldn't bring my car here for an oil change anymore?" And he said, "No, you shouldn't." So I said "fine, I won't bring my car here anymore." Someone else in the store turned around to me and asked me what that was all about, saying "who turns down business in this economy?" I said "I don't know, I sure wouldn't". And the man responded, but you could have referred business here, so I replied, "I'll make sure that I never come back here ever again, not even for an emergency!" And it's not like the place was packed with cars either, where they could even justify turning down business- there were no cars there!! The mechanic was sitting in the office when I got there. I am very disappointed and I am never going back! Terrible service. You do not treat a paying customer like that.
