We had a sales call from Boyd this week and found him to be straight forward, no pressure and extremely knowledgeable about his products. He gave us good advice about trim options and voluntarily steered us away from a design decision that would have cost us a lot of money. Reached out to Boyd to get a quote. Gave me a phenomenal quote. LOWEST out of anyone by far. It was too good to believe. So, I checked several times with him via Yelp messages and he confirmed the price multiple times. I verbally agreed. However, the day he wanted to schedule the in-home visit, his price was $2000 MORE than the original quote. Boyd told me that he quoted me a wrong price before. He told me it was a mistake and that he mixed it up with another order. He brought this up AFTER i called him out on it. It is very frustrating to work with a guy, and you (the consumer) do your best to verify and confirm the cost, and then, the business, switches it and changes it on you. This is the reason buyers are so cautious. It's so hard to trust quotes and estimates nowadays. I have no doubt that this was an honest mistake, and Boyd seemed like a good guy. But at the end of the day, he wasted my time. His lack of attention to detail disappoints me. read more

From the first phone call when he answered on the third ring to the prompt first visit with a quote, I knew I'd found the right guy! I was 8 months pregnant and needed a lot of help deciding what was best for our home.
