I met with Cameron and he began the process. It should have taken a couple weeks, but the insurance company was not offering enough to get it done with OEM parts. Throughout the process Cameron was courteous, professional, and gave updates as we went along. Top-notch!

We leave car and come back little over a week later. They still couldn't get the pillar and fender to line up. I say it looks like shit. The manager flips out on me yelling and calls me a cocksucker..... wow all because they can't fix the car right.... They are suppOder to be a professional shop but I guess if you call them out on their shoddy work they decide to insult you. So he proceeds to call me a cocksucker again and says I am not allowed on the premises any longer. What a lousy, unprofessional and apparently can't fix your car. It's one thing to just fix or not fix a car but I guess the intelligence level of the manager here is pretty low. I have had other cars repaired at other shops and not once has a shop ever called me any names to me in person. I would not recommend this shop to anyone... they still have my car and it will probably never be right again

My car was recently rear-ended and I tried to bring the car here based on the previous experience. VERY POOR DECISION. Unfortunately, this is no longer a good company. I tried calling repeatedly for a month to be told they were having internet issues. After getting to the first call, they confirmed they would schedule the car once they ordered the parts. I followed up again via email and was told that they would reach out when all the parts were in. Two months later when I followed up again to ask if the parts were in and could we schedule the car, I was told they couldn't schedule my car until two months out from July. Then she came back to the line again and was told "Oh no, we will need to schedule in December." I have wasted 3 - 4 months hoping that somewhere in this once very good company a person would be able to help return it to a better place. I have definitely been disappointed. This is not a good company to bring your car for repair. The ownership has slipped and the staff is very incompetent. I thought as a repeat customer you might be considered good business and want to keep their business. The front office staff truly does not know how to handle people or schedule business.

I couldn't hear the knock but I was going to believe them, just figured they knew what they were doing and they're a reputable shop. I was about to sell it to a junkyard today and again I couldn't hear the knock so I figured id get a second opinion from another shop in boulder. (I know this should have been the first thing I did lol) Turns out the engine was completely fine, it needed a new accelerator pedal sensor and that was throwing the car into limp mode. I had already bought a new car and I just fixed my old one for about $100 and ten minutes of work; because I trusted them and didn't get a second opinion I'm stuck with two functional cars! I have a hard time believing they purposely misdiagnosed the problem to try and buy the car off me for significantly less than it was worth, but who knows. I'm really just confused by the whole thing, I thought I was going crazy trying to hear a knock in a perfectly healthy engine. The one thing I do know is that I wouldn't recommend this shop. Could have been an honest mistake, or there could have been some malicious intent, who knows. Regardless of the reason it happened they f***ed up and the whole thing has been a massive, unnecessary inconvenience.

So far both the new CV joints they replaced have had to be replaced, I am now having to replace the rear struts because either the strut or the installation was faulty. I will not return to Stonum Automotive to fulfill the warranty because I no longer trust their competency or their honesty. Several things make me wonder about their competency and/or honesty as when I decided to have another mechanic look at the car, one that has very high ratings, they found some questionable conditions in my car. One of these was a belt for the alternator- excuse my lack of mechanical knowledge, that was the wrong size. It was too small and near breaking. Was this incompetency or more? I don't know. But no matter what I will never go to Stonum automotive again. If I could give them a negative review I would. So far, I am having to pay another $2000 + to fix their incompetency. I had used Stonum for several years and feel my trust was totally betrayed. If I could give a negative review I'd give them a -10.

I am not going to go into details about the problem, but it required a very expensive repair. Expensive enough that I might have had to walk away from the car; the repair cost would have been about 35% of what I had paid for the car itself. While I had only had the car for 6 months and about 7,000 miles, and this kind of problem should not have occurred on the engine as it had been represented at purchase, I am not sure that the vehicle was legally under warranty for this problem. At the minimum it was possibly a gray area. I met with Kirby, who had sold me the car. We had a talk, and he ended up standing behind the car, and did the entire repair for free. I had anticipated a problem, that I would have to at least pay a large portion of the repair. I was so impressed with how Kirby handled the situation, that I offered to pay a good faith portion of the parts cost. Kirby refused the money and handled the whole repair as a warranty issue. I was extremely pleased, relieved, and impressed. Again, I highly recommend Super Rupair!!

Also, it's easy to get immediate appointments ..without waiting weeks..or months, like Flatirons Subaru. BUT...Negative: Beware the $90 "diagnostic charge" add-on. I brought my Forester in when I noticed oil spots on my garage floor. When they put it on the lift, the mechanic immediately saw that my old oil filter was leaking, and performed an oil and filter change. They added the $90 diagnostic charge, even though there really was no "diagnosis" as such. So, I was charged $151.34 for what turned out to be just a routine oil/filter change. Seems like price-gouging to me.
