I'm not sure how I feel about this place. It's just an overpriced halal cart with dried meat. The flavor wasn't there the sauce wasn't there either.

If you want something that's filling, tasty, casual, and affordable, this is definitely a great spot to hit. You get a good-sized portion for around $12 that'll last you well into the night before you get hungry again. There are spice levels to the hot sauce you choose - I got the 4/5 "hot" option which wasn't too spicy, but I'm also Asian and I eat spicy food all the time (might be pretty spicy if you're white and don't eat spicy food).

Quick, easy, tasty takeout food - I always opt for the lamb gyro but the price of the box is pretty high for the amount of food you get. The white sauce is great!

Stopped here for dinner and despite the small menu was pleasantly surprised with what I got! I ordered the chicken over rice. The sauce and flavors were good. I would opt for extra chicken and less rice. As they put a heaping amount of rice but not much chicken. All in all it was quick and fast. Just would like to see more menu items. The staff was also super friendly and nice, something you always have to appreciate!! Anyways, it was good, but not my favorite. Definitely happy I tried it though, and would recommend stopping if you're looking for something quick!

Had the lamb wrap and it was spot on! Just enough food. You can also get it as a bowl (over rice and salad) for a more complete meal. Loved the tasty (& photogenic) sauces as well.

Box'd provides some pretty good, quick boxes to go. Although it is pretty far for students to come all the way from grounds, it is worth it in terms of value. I ordered the steak wrap and it's a very healthy option with a mixture of a salad, bread, and a few pieces of steak. The sauce helped a lot in terms of flavor, but I do wish that my box came with a few more pieces of steak inside. However, it's very filling and is good for a quick bite.

My first time having Box's did not disappoint. It was the perfect blend and burst of flavor in every bite. It hit all the right spots. The price is also perfectly reasonable for the portions you receive. Definitely recommend giving this place a try because they are quick, consistent, and reasonably priced!

I chose the Vietnamese sandwich. It was so tasty. Bread was toasted and crispy and the mix of chicken, pickled cucumbers and fresh herbs were great. My daughter ordered the bulgogi beef rice plate (with kimchi on side) and a strawberry lemonade with strawberry popping boba. She loved both. Food comes out fast. Overall excellent!

Very very nice lady (owner) and very helpful with the menu. - I had the chicken Pho ($16.50). I added the 2 included Hoisin sauce packets. It also came with a Sriracha sauce packet and a small container of chili oil along with the normal variety of noodles, sprouts, fresh herbs, green onions, white onions, jalapeño slices, and a lime wedge. The chicken was tender sliced white meat with no fat, gristle, or bones attached. The broth had a lot of flavor and was delicious. - I also had the shrimp and chive dumplings ($7.00). Not a strong shrimp flavor, but they had a nice crisp on the outside and were tasty. The sauce that comes with the dumplings is absolutely delicious. - My wife had the Bulgogi beef ($14.50). She said it was tender and very delicious. It came with rice, kimchi, and cucumber salad. I just happened to speak to Linh about the cucumber salad and she said this is how she's always made it for her kids and they love it. Well, I'm with her kids and love it too. She makes the vinaigrette herself and it has an unexpected sweetness to it instead of the usual strong vinegar flavor. We both loved it. - We had the pork gyoza ($7.00). This was cooked my favorite way, deep fried (not pan fried). This took me back to the gyoza in Japan and the Yaki Mandu I used to get in Korea. Great crispy wrapper with a tender flavorful filling. And again, the sauce that came with it is some of the best I've had. - The kimchi is not overly spicy and has a slight sweetness to it. - The Egg Tarts ($5.50) are good, not overly sweet. Could use a bit more filling for a better filling to pie crust ratio. - I also got a Chai tea bubble milk ($6.25) that was super delicious. Overall, we really enjoyed Nguyen's Kitchen and will go back with friends. It's unfortunate that it sits behind a Taco Bell and is not highly noticeable from the road, otherwise I might have tried it sooner.

The dining area and bathroom were both clean. I arrived around 12:40 p.m. for lunch and waited nearly 20 minutes for my food. The rice portion was large, but it was mixed with eggs and had no flavor--I didn't finish it. The Lo Mein was okay; I've had better, but it wasn't terrible. The egg rolls were the biggest disappointment. I expected to see shrimp or chicken inside, but they were mostly vegetables. The staff was attentive and polite, and the atmosphere was nice. However, I probably wouldn't return. For the price, the food just didn't satisfy my taste buds. 3 stars for the staff and cleanliness of location.

The managing partner also came by our table very casually and friendly- I just googled their bios and its very interesting. So I wasn't sure I would like everything we ordered- I only wanted the beet salad. It was amazing!!!!!!! We also had the dip trio which I liked the hummus best with yummy bread. My daughter, her friend and her mom LOVED the calamari and said it was light and delicious. Lamb kebob was tasty. Desert chocoholic was scrumptious and the lemon granita was light and interesting with homemade cotton candy that we laughed looked like ratchet barbie hair but tasted so light. Absolutely delicious!

SERVICE We came in for a belated Valentine's Day dinner,…read moreand the staff immediately seated us when we got int. Everyone was friendly and professional without being too formal. Our server served us waters and let us peruse the menu. Most spots will have the waiter come by and ask you how things are, and our waiter didn't come by at all after setting down the food which was interesting -- not good nor bad but probably were also busy. AMBIENCE The space felt upscale but still easygoing, which made it perfect for our Valentine's night out. There's no dress code, but most people looked like they'd put a little effort in, matching the polished but comfortable vibe. Loved the open kitchen all the way towards the back by the bookshelf area gave the room some energy without making it feel noisy. Definitely struck a great balance between date-night fancy and laid-back cool and casual. FOOD We started with the Beet Salad Ribbons and the Meze Trio. The beet salad mixed earthy ribbon-sheet beets with hazelnuts and a bright pomegranate vinaigrette that surprised me! Loved the pairing of the beets and cheese and hazelnut crunch. As a texture fan, this really hit the spot! It was colorful, fresh, and really well balanced. The Meze Trio had charred eggplant, a yogurt-goat cheese dip, and a seasonal hummus. Each had its own flavor and texture, and everything felt super fresh and well-seasoned. Favorite was the seasonal hummus. The yogurt-goat cheese dip was good but definitely sweeter than I personally perferred! The Calamari was also quite good and had decent number of chunky pieces that weren't just breading. The only small letdown was the pita bread since we had more dips than pita left. We expected refills might be complimentary, especially for a place like this, but they weren't. Not a big deal, just something that stood out in an otherwise smooth and thoughtful experience! The Manti Dumplings were a highlight too -- probably so much handwork in making these look like they do! The Sharondale mushrooms gave them a rich, savory flavor, and the pepper butter sauce added just the right touch of spice. The burger was also great -- juicy, flavorful, and paired with house fries and an amazing urfa pepper aioli. You could tell both dishes were elevated but still comforting, showing off the chef's fine-dining background in a really approachable way. For dessert, we shared the Baklava Cheesecake and a Chocolate Hazelnut special. The cheesecake was unique -- cheesecake filling sandwiched between baklava. It was delicious but not what I was expected! It was creamy and nutty with pistachio layers, and the chocolate dessert was incredibly rich without being heavy. Both were perfect finishes. We even took home the leftover goat cheese dip because it was that good. Overall, pices were a little on the higher side ($23-$29 for mains, $14 for dessert), but for the quality and thought put into every dish, it felt worth it and would come back again for a special occasion! This was definitely elevated ambience and the food was well executed in our opinion. I can see the hype! Definitely not a spot I'd frequent often but for the special days -- this is it to impress your date or family!
