The coffee was rich and flavorful, and I really enjoyed it. The service was super fast, by the time I finished placing my order, my coffee was ready just a few minutes later. I also loved their branding and the cute little stickers on the cups. Such a nice touch! The area around the shop is great too. You can take a walk in the park, find a spot to sit, and just enjoy the view. Overall, it's a really nice neighborhood spot. Definitely recommend!

As a big fan of Radio's original location, I've been excited to have a new Radio in SE Austin. True…read moreto form, this location is beautifully done with plenty of outdoor seating and *parking*, both an outdoor and indoor stage, and lush native landscaping throughout. Warning to those visiting around dusk in summer: during my last visit we were eaten alive by mosquitos. Other than that, love Radio. This location has three food trucks including one of my favorites, Shortwave Diner. Their smashburger and Reuben sandwiches with homemade fries are delicious. Radio also offers an amazing happy hour from 4 pm to close every Monday through Thursday. The hibiscus mojito is the perfect summer treat. This location has a great trivia on Tuesday nights too. I recommend it!

TLDR: Diluted iced drinks, bad parking, and minimal outlets…read more After coming to Radio/East a few times now, I hate to say it, but the iced drinks are just too diluted, and unfortunately, is the common theme for the other locations I've been to as well. Most recently, I tried the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Chai Latte, and the Berry Crisp Latte. What I was hoping for were robust, unique, signature flavors, but left unsatiated, wanting better coffee/tea elsewhere. In addition to the diluted iced drinks, another common theme you'll find is an unproportionally large amount of outdoor seats to indoor and challenging parking, and for those who work remote, there's still an ongoing hunger games for outlets. On the plus sides, there are a few food truck options, most notably Veracruz and Wow Poke and occasionally will host a fun event and/or concert. Overall, I really want to love Radio, but the cons make it hard to justify becoming a regular.

I am immediately greeted with parties of 2-5 people all talking--felt like social bar vibes. Still a great place to study if you like background noise like I do. Great place to socialize with friends, catch up with an ex, and eat/drink great food.

I came to this location today to get something quick for Thing Two prior to her heading off to…read morecamp. This is a small locally owned shop that offers doughnuts breakfast wraps and kolaches. Thing Two elected to get a fruit filled doughnut, which I believe was supposed to be a kolache. The fruit was inside the doughnut as opposed to a true fruit kolache where the fruit filling is exposed on the top of the kolache. I elected to order a breakfast "burrito." Burrito is in quotes as what I received wasn't a burrito but a taco. Why? Because burritos be definition are thicker and larger than tacos, reaching 10 to 12 inches with an oblong shape, and this was not that. This burrito included egg, bacon, and cheese on a store bought tortilla. The burritos were sitting in the same area where the doughnuts were, and mine was placed in a microwave to warm prior to presenting it to me. The service was friendly, but the products offered here aren't extraordinary (and misleading by product definition) but not terrible either. The two items purchased came in just under $5.00. Credit cards are only accepted here if the purchase is over $5.00.
