He was going to walk to the Meteor to grab a coffee and I politely said no thank you. He then comes back handing me this green goddess saying he went to Pura Vida instead. A little back story. I love me a matcha but am not a matcha latte fan. I don't know if its the mixing it with milk, or sometimes it's way too sweet, or sometimes it doesn't give me a good matcha energy for the price....but I've tried my fair share and had decided maybe it's not meant to be. Until this one. Enter Coconut.Cloud.Matcha. As I took my first sip expecting an underwhelming tradition of matcha latte experiences - my taste buds did a double take. One sip guys. Wow'd me. Also just now realizing as I type this... I'm not even a coconut fan! But the blend, the precision of ingredients.... not too sweet at all. The hint of coconut but not too much. And the embracing of the flavor of matcha. The hubs got their seasonal iced coffee and a tropical pink guava for the kiddos. He starred the coffee higher than other local coffee spots and the juice is now his favorite. You've made a matcha latte believer out of me again. Well done, Pura Vida, well done.

It was a coconut based iced latte. Extremely smooth, cream, and actual coconut strips in the coffee. The coffee is the star where they do a good job of balancing the flavors without being too sweet. If you have ever drank coffee and noticed a "clean" coffee kick, I felt this way from this drink. To me the coffee beans are roasted well and come of good quality. The wife ordered the guava matcha. Similiar response where the flavors are rich and smooth. Good balance with guava and matcha. Not chalky. Really balanced. Top 3 of the coffee/matcha places during our trip to Austin. It's great to the degree we would come back if we're in SOCO. It's an outside lot with tables and outside coverings. Depends on the weather but generally chill to hang out. The coffee shop we went to has music playing outside, so low key vibes when you're just enjoying your coffee/day.

My boyfriend loved the concha so much that he bought a bag of conchas on their own to eat for the next morning! The girl was really nice and the space was nice with enough tables for several different groups to come out and eat. We will come here again.
