I was kind of let down by this place. I got the steak pittsburgh style sandwich. There was not much meat, too many fries, and the cole slaw was dry and bland. The wings were very average. The pluses were the hot pepper cheese balls. Best I've ever had. The drink prices were also very fair. The fries were your standard tasty fresh cut fries. The service was also very good. Definitely a smaller hole in the wall kind of place but the food was great, I had the smoked 1/2 chicken an fries, and the service was great as well. Got a takeout buffalo chicken sandwich. Which was pretty solid. Was definitely not that spicy and they went overboard on the fries in sandwich.... but i gave 4 stars based on the enormous size! Had an unusual taste for Smoked Brisket, and found this place. The smoked meats are great. If you are looking for a 5-star facility, you're in the wrong part of PA. Bowsers might be known for their sandwiches, but their salads were really good. But within the last year they stopped adding chunked cheese. They replaced it with stingy shreds. The salads taste completely different without the chunked cheese and are disappointing. read more

They have an amazing chicken salad. The only thing I didn't like from there were their spaghetti and meat ball for $5.00 on Wednesday's.

Looking for a great place to get some great food the Bowsers is the place to try. Their wings are amazing snd if like hot and spicy try their hot cherry or peach wings. If you are not into wings do not worry they have unique sandwiches named after famous people that are unique and delicious. Bows were has a great selection of beer too. Had dinner on Friday August 4th, 2017. Whenever I want wings this is the place I go. I can't have wings without the fresh cut fries with cheese. The food is delicious and the service is phenomenal. Worst service I've ever received, hands down. My son and I came in for dinner after sitting down no one came over to our table or greeted us. Two more workers came out of the kitchen stood and talked to each other and started refilling peoples drinks. Another girl came out to give another table their receipt. A man walked in the door and sat at the bar and they grabbed him a menu and asked him what he was drinking. Not one person came over to us yet so I walk up to the bar and ask for two menus and order our drinks. The girl ids me and I said yes it's at the table I'll have it for you when you come with our beverages. A different person comes to the table to see my is with no drinks. Retakes our drink order walks back pours them and walks away to give two menus, pours drinks gave it to them and took their food order to two more gentlemmen that just walked in after our drinks were made! UNBELIEVABLE. We walked out I would never spend a dollar on such terrible service! It wasn't even busy there were two families in the dining room other than us. And three workers helping 6 people at the bar. read more

This place has good sandwiches...but the service sucks!! I was one of two people sitting at the bar and not one of the girls working behind the bar would even make eye contact. I was sitting there for five minutes with an empty drink them would not even acknowledge I was there. This was the second visit here and the first time was the same experience but thought I would give them a second chance. read more

Pittsburgh style Sandwiches(bread, meat, cheese, slaw and fries) are good. Have good salads as well. All of the sandwiches and salads are named after famous Pittsburghers. Have great beer selection. Use to go to Bowers on a regular basis. The last time took some very good friends and clients the wings were VERY underdone (bloody and cold) and the seasoning on the fries was soooo thick that they too were uneatable! I told the waitress and she said ..."well I can get you some more to take home with you"....and I told her that was unexceptable. We were hungry then, NOT when we got home! She then told me, "oh well" and left the bill! "Oh well"....I know we will never be back!!!! read more
