After a heroin addict made two attempts to break into my mother's home, I opted to buy her a firearm. We walked in, and a younger man opted to help us. When asked for advice, rather than speaking to me, he explained everything directly to her precisely, simply, and respectfully. The older gentleman responsible for the indoor range was very welcoming. Upon hearing that my mother had just been through a home invasion, they made an effort not to come off as intimidating. The price was nothing to scoff at, but the service, information, and instruction was worth the price, and the salesman was entirely willing to compromise on the cost where he could. We walked away with a Ruger SP101, 50 practice rounds, 25 home defense rounds (.38 special), a leather belt holster, & a barrel snake for about $780. They also provided my mother with information on their weekly women's defense courses and two free passes to their indoor range. After all was said and done, I looked at the clock in my car. They had stayed after closing, range and all, to ensure my mother had what she needed. Fantastic experience. Nicely done.

As another reviewer said, I tried calling to see if they had any in stock and didn't get an answer. The only place in town that could confirm having one was Freedom. They were VERY overpriced, rude, and unhelpful. While I was there (being ignored by the 5 employees not doing anything but sitting,) the one employee helping another customer (also a first time buyer) was spewing BS to them the entire time. He finally stepped over to see if I had any questions and I asked for a price on the PPQ and when I asked why it was FAR over MSRP he scoffed and said "Supply and demand". As I was walking out I heard him telling the other customer he shouldn't be considering 9mm and babbling about stopping power. Right. I drove home disappointed and posted on a Facebook group asking if anyone knew which stores would be polite about transferring one if I ordered online and Nate PM'd me. He said they would be happy to do it at a reasonable cost and while he couldn't quite match the deal, I was so impressed with the service that I placed it on hold anyways. I picked it up the next day and have had several trips back to the store that were all equally impressive. This is a passionate and knowledgeable group of employees that will show you how much they respect you as a customer by giving their full attention and honesty - hence the never picked up phones. I am SO glad I have been able to find a local business to keep my money in Fort Wayne. Thanks guys!

I avoid Trek shops because the customer service is generally atrocious, so I found Inrush Bicycles on Yelp. Glad I did because this is an awesome bike shop... The owners Nikki & Charles are super friendly, ultra-accommodating, and provided excellent customer service. Their shop is clean, organized, and has such cool laid back outdoorsy vibes... They've been in business for 13+ years and it's easy to see why. They have a variety of retail bikes and several different service/maintenance packages. Charles advised we get their "Silver Package", which is their most popular... It cost a little over $200 for both bikes with a tire tube replacement, which is a great price as compared to a Trek shop (which would have easily cost over $500). Our bikes were ready in a little over a week and came out looking like brand new rides... Just like that, they're trail-ready again. Overall, we were highly impressed with Inrush Bicycles and will definitely be back for routine service to our Trek's... If you're looking for a local bike shop to have virtually any bike serviced, Inrush is the place.

And also when it comes to shoe shopping I like to have my salesperson around the entire time I'm trying on the shoes just in case I need a different size or a different recommendation or for them to at least stop in again instead of just ditching me as soon as they get me my shoes--which has often been the case most times I've come here. So I'm not impressed but if the price is like under 40 and fit decently there shouldn't be any buyer's remorse if the shoes only last 8 months. It's not easy for these dealers, but with the Staff here, I have to point out 2 real stars in the industry who have become the face of this business for me as a high end collector who spends an average of $12-$20k per year on guns. The prices seem to be as good or better than most places around Ft. Wayne and the owners are friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help you even if it's saving you money. Good selection of firearms or will order what you want. They also keep politics to a minimum, which is nice.
