Had very poor experience in the shoe department on Wednesday March 12. The associate was very rude telling us not to touch the displays because he was tired of having to put them back in order. He basically ended up telling us to get out of "his store". We told another associate about it and was told it wasn't the first complaint that day. Received my Reward of $90 after spending quite a bit of money in the store, only to try using it, and the customer service telling me they have a system error... after going back, and forth for almost an hour of sending photos of the email, and reward code... they then tell me its accurate, but their system is not working, and for me to send them my cart number, which I searched for, and it was not even there... after sending photos of where this nonexistent cart number SHOULD BE, they requested I send each, and every item SKU in my cart so they could manually apply it, and check me out on their end.. Which mind you I then had to look up the item, and then search through the item information for the SKU, then give them sizes, and colors of each item (WHICH I HAD MULTIPLE IN EACH)!!! I had almost $170 worth of items, and thought that was ridiculous. Not happy at all.. Do better read more

Mixed feelings about my recent shopping experience here. I came to Dick's Sporting Goods a few weeks ago for a few reasons: 1) I needed some new swim trunks. There is a heated pool in the hotel I am staying and darn it, I was going to use it! 2) my brother needed new sneakers 3) we both needed new gloves. We both had a pair but needed one that allow you to text message. Why? The company I work for, which also had just hired my brother use an app on your phone to give you access to enter through the doors. You better be able to touch your screen of you won't get in. Problem is... if it's cold as heck you don't want to take off your gloves. I easily found the swim trunks... a bit pricey for my taste... $40. We went to the shoe section and got my brother a new pair of sneakers that comfortably fit and were reasonably priced. We were helped by the employees manning that section. Gloves... that was a nightmare. Finding the section wasn't easy and required me to ask someone for help... when I got there that section was a mess. Took me 30 minutes to find the type of gloves we were looking for and in our size... ridiculous. If they had all sections of their store as well managed as the show area... this would be at least a four star review. Still since I am finding my way around the area if I need winter clothes or shoes... I may find myself here again. read more

Overall easy in and out, easy to find parking and a clean store. Friendly but slow service in the shoe depot and staff wore masks with lots of sanitizers everywhere. I guess I'm stocker shocked when I see shoes the price if a used car! I haven't purchased shoes in awhile other than teenage shoes that co audited of vans or Nike uses so when my teen wanted tennis shoes I about had a heart attack. I guess I need to come to reality and bite the bullet on a pair of sneaks. Man I'm getting old. Even the clothes were pricey. Then again this was our first time out shopping in a long time. I'm sorta disappointed I came in here looking for dicks and ended up buying some fishing gear. I guess Dicks Sporting goods sounded like a different kinda shop to me. While I didn't find a 3 foot dildo I managed to find an array of baseball bats that should work the same way. I asked one of their staff if they could help me with my pitching and catching and ended up just getting baseball tips. I'm sure someones bound to get offended by this joke, but I will tell you what's not a joke their friendly staff that will help you find whatever you need. This store gets me a little excited. Premium runner pants, premium sweat wick runner shirts, gym shoes, runner shoes, all kinds of stuff up in here. The right fit every time, pants be all feeling nice and fitting right. Those Russell 2 stripe down the leg runner pants, feel right on me, fits around my package real nice. Love Dick's for sure. I actually had a good experience at Dick's in Fort Wayne after a few bad trips in Columbus, Ohio. I am happy to leave a positive review. Wanted to get a new cooler to go out on the boat this summer and I saw on online that was well reviewed and didn't want to wait to have it shipped to me. Since I was going to be in Fort Wayne I looked online and saw that they carried at Dick's so I planned on stopping. I was greeted when I walked into the store and was able to both ask where the coolers were and walked partially there where suprisingly another employee was working. He was able to answer several questions and made a few recommendations. I will make this a five if I my yeti(s) were worth the money on the first 90 degree day since it was an expensive purchase and he convinced me to buy four additional can coolers. Checking out was easy. I had two people in line in front of me and another showed up while waiting. A lady came over and opened a second register which never seems to happen to me when I am in line. For the first time at this store, I had an outstanding customer service experience. I would shop here again if I am in Fort Wayne and would recommend it to anyone who lives or works in the area. read more

I bought a Scotty downrigger from Dick's Sporting Good store in Issquah, in order to get the sale price they made me buy a one year protection warranty, the product already has a one year warranty from manufacture. This is the most dishonest behavior I ever seen from a big department box store. read more

When you're in the market for something in between a Wal-Mart's Chinese made junk. Or even Gander Mountains (overpriced 2nd's). Dicks is probably just what you need. They are like the Best Buy of sporting goods stores, with a little bit of everything. This Dick's Sporting Goods location is not the biggest but the selection is adequate. Also in particular, this stores north side location (they load it up with more expensive high end things) unlike the south side location. On a few occasions when I visited their fishing section, the associates provided great service and expertise. We actually listened to a story about a fishing trip and the cool catches he made recently. Reasonable prices and don't forget to look for coupons in their weekly newspaper ads. They do have adequate winter jackets and skiing clothes. I look mostly to the higher end brands. As they tend to buy "end of production" line type things. Even those will tend to outlast, stay in style longer than the Columbian, and first run anything other stores sell. From what I have seen Dicks places employees in charge of areas they enjoy working in, or at least have some knowledge of the subject! Took my grandkids for shoes. Granddaughter was able to find a nice pair of soccer shoes and a pair of athletic shoes. My grandson saw a couple pair of athletic shoes he liked but unfortunately his size was not available. The shoe clerk was very helpful and patience with the kids. They tried on multiple pairs each. I wish I could remember his name. Store is clean and well organized. read more

Large store across from the mall - good location. Seems pretty clean and organized (I didn't visit the restroom so idk about those). We went to get some football supplies for flag football for my son. We got some cleats on clearance for $35. The people working the shoes part were pretty good - we asked one busy guy to help us get a size and he did without asking like it was a hassle (you know since it's his job :) ) and then another girl came up twice to make sure we were doing okay. I love it when people actually do their jobs and don't make you feel like you are putting them out when that's what they are getting paid to do. THANK YOU DICKS! We also got youth mouth piece and football gloves. They had a nice selection in all categories my son enjoyed getting to choose his own equipment. read more

Not worth the time!!! Sent my wife here to get two gloves streamed for the break in process. They did streamed once and sent her on her way. I have taken gloves here before and after each steam the employee looks over the glove and determines if it needs it again.Usually takes at least two times. Not in this case. Took our money and ran with it!! I got home from work and the gloves are in the same shape as when taken in. These are very nice gloves and should have been taken care of by the Dicks employee. Save your money and spend the extra time to break the glove in yourself. read more

The staff here on the day after Christmas was so friendly and helpful. I went in looking for an afford affordable sled for my nephews to use since it had snowed so much on Xmas. When I thought I'd found it with a blow up tube type for $20 they showed me the $9.99 plastic disks the Griswald's used in Christmas vacation. I got one for each of them for less than one of those painted inner tubes. So cool and helpful of them. It's in a corner of the mall where nobody goes anymore so you have to have purpose to head there. read more

Dick's is the place to go where you need something in a hurry. Quality may be less than what you would normally like, and quantity of selections are usually limited as well. Department by department... Golf - Probably the best department there. Lots of selections, but prices seem high. Tennis - Stinks. Cycling - Stinks. Team sports (soccer,baseball,etc.) - Ok for generic stuff, but not going to find high end equipment. Clothing - decent selections, but expensive. Shoes - OK - but very heavy into basketball sneakers, where you will not find one tennis shoe. Firearms - Can't really comment other than selection seems pretty small compared to other stores. Airsoft & paintball - Stinks. Excercise machines - not sure, as I avoid this area like the plague. Most people who buy these are just wasting their money. So, why do I give it a 3 star? Because if you need something in a hurry, they are there. read more
