This is a cool bowling place. They are one of the most affordable bowling places that I've seen with week day specials. The place was clean. They have indoor and outdoor sitting. You can reserve lanes as well. Also if you have a large group, they will bring you a water tower.

Really enjoyed the outing to this hidden gem, which includes bowling... Plus! 1/2 Price bowling and half price taco Tuesday... Win! Win! The grilled chicken tacos were tasty and generously portioned. Staff was happy to accommodate simple requests (corn tortilla, lettuce only, no cheese or sauce) with no fuss. Attentive, friendly service.

Had some food and enjoyed bowling here with a group of friends! The food came out fast and was really tasty! the nachos had good portions of meat, beans, and other toppings. The chips and dip platter was pretty large and great for sharing! I also got a salad wit chicken and bacon bits, which was really filling and had good portions of meat! The service was fast and efficient. Food was brought out quickly, and the servers were very friendly. The bartenders were also nice and patient with our large group. For bowling, there are lots of lanes. The bowling balls and lanes are very clean, and the sofas and seating at each station are well maintained. Our group had a great time bowling here!

hands down one of the coolest spots in Dallas if you're looking for something fun and on a budget. retro vibe, great music, and laid-back atmosphere that makes it perfect for everything from casual hangouts to birthday parties. Food and drinks are amazing, and their happy hour deals are so so good. love their nachos and mozzarella sticks in particular. Also a solid beer and cocktail selection- and half off cocktails during happy hour!! The staff is always friendly, and the space is big enough that even when it's busy, it doesn't feel cramped. Plenty of seating if you're just there to hang and watch the game.

This play was really fun! It's very well kept, and clean. They are reasonably priced per person/game, as well as the food. We had our own waiter taking our order while we bowled. They have adult only nights. You have to do reservations at least the day before if you want to get in, but otherwise you'll have a blast! Parking is a bit tricky.

This place is pretty fun. It has the typical bar area, a lounge area, bowling and pool tables. There is also some stuff to do outside but I didn't really pay attention to that. The staff was friendly and give a hearty greeting as you enter. We order the catfish basket and cheese sticks plus two shots. The catfish was fried well. The sweet potato fries were yummy and the cheese sticks were great. Everything was seasoned so well. We spent $60ish with tip. I'd go back for a fun date night.

We came here on a Sunday at 11am and had the place to ourselves for about 30-40min. Loved the look of this place. It is old school meets new school. Old warehouse meets trendy bar. There is also an outdoor patio with some games in addition to a lounge room with pool tables. Our group had 3 adults and 3 kids... our oldest child said she didn't feel like this place was geared towards kids. (Note: there are no bumpers for kids but they do have the ramps that help kids roll the ball). Price on a Sunday 11-3: $15pp for an HOUR of bowling. Shoes were included, luckily. Needless to say, we didn't even finish the one game of bowling and we paid a staggering, $113. (Gratuity included on parties of 6+). Never in my 40+ years have I played one game of bowling for $113. (Our previous ridiculously priced bowling was at a Bowlero years ago at like $60 for one game.) Staff were friendly. We'd come again... but not sure if we'd bring the whole fam.

Our group of 12 came on a busy Saturday afternoon and unfortunately there was a private party that prevented us from bowling due to a 1.5 hour wait. We got drinks and enjoyed the cornhole, connect 4, pool, and other indoor/outdoor games. The fireplace kept us warm despite the 50 degree weather. Plenty of Texas beers on tap to choose from, we got samples and ordered our favorite. The bartender Boom was very friendly and helped us decide on the best options based on our preferences! Overall a great experience and WAY more than bowling and a few tap beers!

We came after we got the Dallasites101 Date Night Passport and included 2 games of bowling. This was a cool spot. It felt like a dive bar meets a bowling alley. They had a huge patio too that was nice. They said it was $20 an hour per person regularly. We didn't get food or drinks or anything but would definitely come back. The bowling was an old school vibe and unique. They also had billiards.

I love this place!!! Been here multiple times and they always deliver. Conner is BEST!!! They also just introduced pickleball on their lawn, and still have lawn games as well. Highly recommend for a group night out!

The taproom is right off Inwood Road and it feels very city. Between the train cars crossing the bridge overhead to the activity in the bar, I definitely think Celestial Beerworks has the right vibe for what it offers. I ordered the Strawberry Lemonade sour, and it was very good! Not as sour as some others I've tried, but was definitely tasty nonetheless. My other friends enjoyed their drinks as well. There is a cute little food truck outside that offers tacos, queso, quesadillas, etc. I ordered the veggie street tacos and queso and chips (not pictured). Bit expensive for the amount of filling in the tortillas in my opinion ($2.5 / street taco, $6 queso and chips) but was tasty nonetheless. I appreciated the sauces on the side but ultimately would have liked more kick to them. It's Texas, baby, bring on the spice! Food takes a LONG time, which is nice when you want to sit down and have a few drinks, but not too great if you show up pretty hungry! Overall, would definitely come back for another beer / trivia night but would probably eat beforehand.

I'm a 35-year-old dad, so I appreciate places that feel relaxed and family-friendly, and this definitely checked those boxes. They had live music going on, and it was actually really pleasant--not too loud, just a nice vibe in the background while we hung out. We brought our dog along too, and there was plenty of space for him to chill comfortably, which is always a big plus for us. The beers we tried were good across the board, and there's a nice variety to choose from. Between the indoor and outdoor seating, there's plenty of room whether you're trying to stay cool or enjoy the weather. The grilled cheese was great, but I've gotta be honest -- the tomato soup tasted more like tomato paste thinned out with a bit of water. It didn't have that classic tomato‑soup flavor I was expecting. Aside from that, the atmosphere here is awesome. It's welcoming for both families and adults, and the space has a fun, energetic vibe. We came for a ping‑pong session, and it was the perfect setting -- clean, lively, and very community‑driven. A big shoutout to Abby, who helped us the most during our visit. Friendly, knowledgeable, and great energy -- exactly what you want from staff in a place like this. Service overall was excellent. If you're looking for a fun, social spot to hang out, grab a drink, and enjoy good company, Community Beer Company definitely delivers. Just maybe skip the tomato soup.

Since the business was actively running the ad, we assumed the promotion was valid and decided to check it out today (2/7/25). When we arrived, there were about 15 staff members standing around and only a handful of patrons. We took a seat at the bar and were given the regular menu. When I asked about the happy hour menu, the bartender simply said, "We don't do happy hour," and walked away. Confused, my sister pulled up the exact ad that was still running on Instagram. The staff then informed us that the promotion had been offered by a former GM who left last week, and rather than honoring the ad or even apologizing for the confusion, they dismissed our concern entirely. It's disappointing when a business pays for advertising but fails to update or manage their promotions properly. If an offer is no longer valid, it should be removed from social media rather than misleading potential customers. Unfortunately, due to this experience, we chose to take our business elsewhere. I hope Backyard takes this as an opportunity to improve communication and ensure their marketing aligns with what they actually offer.
