Great service, knowledge and insight. They are experts in the bowling field and always take time to answer questions.

Back to Whirlyball this time for a private event I worked with their team to organize the event and…read morethey did a good job putting the program together we started downstairs with renting a court and a few bowling lanes. We also added some large games to our space as well. We then made it upstairs for our dinner program and the buffet was amazing! Delicious and tenor serving they have a very nice event space upstairs. The staff were very nice. Two notes would just be that they had our program run on a court back to back with another group so it was ackward since we needed all those large games set up, had preset beverages and appetizers. Plus a full check in table. The other court was empty so I'm not certain why we weren't just in the other space. Then they also only had the front bar open in the first hour versus the one right at the courts and bowling where we were and other guests enjoying their time. In the case of our group it also left us separated into two since as they waited for drinks then they just became comfortable in the front bar talking. They did open the upstairs bar once we moved up there. I would book an event here again I would just make sure to clearly note some of those details and/or even book the court an extra hour to ensure no crossover even though I was able to set up 15 minutes before our event start. Everyone had a really fun time and for many it was their first time experiencing it.

I will say that i've been saving my tickets for like a year now from each time I've gone and still don't have enough for a prize bigger than a Chinese finger trap ): which is a bummer after spending over $100 every-time i go. Some of the games weren't working properly as well. I swiped my card for the basketball game only to realize all of the basketballs were stuck in the net. I am sure i could have asked staff for help but, i just decided to move on. The Mario kart i decided to play also had a broken wheel but didn't impact game play too much. So i also ignored that. Not all claw machines had prizes being restocked but i still got a good amount of goodies to take home from that area of the games!! I will say i was also disappointed to see that the only two ski ball machines were cramped next to each other against the bowling area wall. But still playable! The photo booths are so fun and a great inclusion. The 99 cent ice cream was a nice treat before heading out into the mall. Next door are two more activity centers if you feel like you haven't spent enough money already, and feel like you want a shot at air-soft shooting or escape rooms. Mid-day weekends and summers I'm sure are packed; and in past experience, with young kiddos having their own fun, and parents catching a break. Which is okay too, just not my style. Overall always a fun visit, just keep in mind that experience may vary depending on the day and time you go and what you prefer socially!

I came here to do some karaoke with a friend. For $12.50 per hour (+ tax, this is the weekday early…read morerate), we got a private room for karaoke. If you come with a lot of people, this is well worth the price! Even for the two of us, it was a great deal. We spent $22 (+ tax, including card activation) for games. We got nearly 10 experience games (rhythm games & Mario Kart) for our price. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely come back again for karaoke and to try their bowling alley.

Have no fear, traveler; though the residential setting of this corner bar gives every indication…read morethat townies will turn and stare glassy-eyed at any outsider, check your worries at the door, because once inside you'll be welcomed with a smile from behind the bar. All I came here for was mini bowling, and I got that in spades. It was a Sunday night, so two lanes were open with no reservation needed. I opened a tab at the bar, headed back to the awaiting lanes, and proceeded two bowl a couple games in quick succession. Unless you have a large crew, there won't be much sit and wait time, like on a regular lane. Note that it is manual scoring. They do provide a cheat sheet to help with this, and it may help as well to number your frames, just in case you get lost in all the up and down. Since it is residential, you might have to circle the block a few times to find parking, but don't let that deter you. A walk back to the car might be the perfect excuse to stop by the food truck across the street.

A Milwaukee icon on the south side! This is a legendary bar that moonlights as a mini bowling…read morealley. Location is a little sketchy, and this is definitely a dive bar at its finest, but the real star of the show is the duck pin bowling located in the back. For those not familiar, it's a much shorter, elevated lane than regular bowling. Select from different weighted, softball size balls and roll it down the lane. It's much easier than regular bowling and scores tend to be high, so it's a nice ego boost and tons of fun! And instead of a machine re-racking the pins, there are teenagers that sit back there to set them up. Tips: Cash only for the bowling which is $5 dollars a person. Make sure to tip your pin setters! Its best to call in advance to reserve a lane, but walk ins welcome. There are four lanes and you can rent one or more for an hour and a half each. They bowl super late, and is an awesome spot to hang out with a group and play a few rounds! Come knock some pins down at this legendary spot!
