3 stars for the nice venue and its super clean. Unfortunately I was dissapointed in some aspects of our visit. Wanted to order the giant mule but was told it had to have a minimum of 3/4. So we ordered two regular sized drinks,BUT the couple next to our lane was able to order it!!! This place is a shady establishment. DO NOT BOOK A RESERVATIONS ONLINE!! It's more expensive with a time limit and charges each person a $20 food credit. We called the store and asked if we could just walk in to get a lane instead of making reservations online (to avoid paying the $20 food credit) and the manager said no over the phone: When we arrived there was advertised price that was cheaper than what we paid. We paid $550 for 2.5 hours for 7 people. You can get $10 per person per game. The manager told us to call corporate and they'll give us a refund so we paid extra for another lane only to find out that corporate said we forfeited our payment and that's the terms and conditions of making reservations online. Enjoy that $550 that you stole from us from your BS fine print. There's an ethical way of doing business and its not here at Bowlero. There are people who are going through a hard time especially during these times. Went into the location and was told I was not able to bowl. Paul the assistant general manager was rude and walked away in the middle of me talking. They would not honor the 2 hour Groupon, even though it had not expired. Did expire after today, and even though I get the credit of what I paid, the deal itself will no longer be valid. Asia, said she is the event manager, said she could not honor the Groupon nor would work with me to be able to use the Groupon and still bowl. She said that they are not taking any walk ins today. I went right when they opened at 4pm and was told that they had events and bowling league at 6pm but couldn't let us use the full 2 hours of the Groupon so they wouldn't let us bowl at all. Very unprofessional. Paul was very rude. And Asia didn't want to offer any solutions, just kept repeating herself over and over. Usually love coming here. Staff were so annoyed by every customer. I was so shocked because they didn't look you in the eye or really acknowledge you. They look upset and you're scared to ask questions because you know they just want you to take your shoes and walk away from them. When you ask questions they respond like you're dumb and you should know the answer as if we work there and know everything. We came with a group of children and even the children felt uncomfortable asking for the correct size shoe because they didn't want to bother staff. The price was very affordable and it was clean so we gave it 3 stars but the two stars I took away was for the negative and angry energy the staff gave. Work somewhere else if you hate your job. The staff at this Bowlero location has always been on point. They are very helpful and if a staff member is still new and learning the system, there is always someone close by to help out and show the new person how to do it. The atmosphere in the building is great. Fun music, great lighting. Food and drinks are tasty. I would recommend the flatbread pizzas with a Forbidden Fruit cocktail. If a problem occurs with the lanes, the staff is quick to resolve the issue so you can continue with your bowling. They are quick to clean up and sanitize after each group is finished. I will continue to go to Bowlero in Riverside for a long time to come. A great way to spend a few hours with a great team of people helping you out. read more

We haven't been bowling for years. Last time I came to this bowling alley it was a different name. Now they made it better nicer cleaner. A lot of fun. Grandkids had a blast. They are already asking when they can come back. They have big projectors to watch tv at the end. Definitely would come back. read more

My husband and I love to bowl. We moved to Riverside about a year ago and did not realize this place was so close. We arrived and were immediately shocked at how nice this place is. It does get busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Prices after 6 is $8+ per game per person & $5+ for shoe rentals per person. This is a booth style place. They also have lane attendants who come & take your order, which is nice. I wish this placed had a pro shop for balls and shoes like some bowlers do. The staff is extremely friendly & welcoming. Good place to bowl. Very nice and clean. Food service on a Friday afternoon was very slow. The person helping us when we first got there felt very condescending. We told him on several occasions that it was our first time there and he kept answering our questions like things should be obvious. Someone told me about this place and I decided to go see about it. Before I could do anything the lovely Davina came up and introduced herself and asked if we needed anything. Decided to grab some food since she offered to take my order. I ordered some food and drinks and When I got to a lane she came over to make sure everything was good. Manger is a strict policy enforcer. I had a water bottle and Ms.Manger is like unfortunately outside water and drinks aren't allowed. We asked if we can request lane 40 and again Ms.Manger is like unfortunately we can't do that. It's my dad birthday and we brought a cake we asked if we can bring it in and again Ms.Manger is unfortunately no outside food or drinks allowed. My son and I went here on a Groupon to get some practice. This place is not for serious bowlers. Hilariously, the lights over the lanes are black lights and the main illumination is from giant TV screens behind the pinsetters. What this means is that the TV programming changes and the screen goes dark, you suddenly can't see the arrows. Feels like trying to bowl in the middle of a dance club. Out of everyone there, we were probably the only actual bowlers. As a result, no one around us had no idea about bowling etiquette. People running up during your approach, grab-@*sing in the lane while you are finishing your release and just a general disrespect for the game. Finally, the prices are just silly. for one person to roll a series it would cost like $36.00 without the coupon. I can't imagine if you had a group of like 6 people, a series would be over $200.00 for three games, holy crap! With prices like this, I might as well just take up golf. If you aren't someone who really bowls, it is probably fine because it feels like being in a club and you can have fun chucking balls down the lane but if you are serious about the sport, you will want to go to Arlington Lanes. read more

This place crazy pricey now so I purchased a groupon for my daughter and friends. Of course you have to jump through hoops to use the groupon. My daughter and friends tried to use it but had to be put on a wait list (understandable). While waiting Bowlero tried to sell them the full purchase price of lanes (double the groupon) because if they did, there would be lanes available. What a joke! They came back after their wait time and was told they were never put on the wait list. AND once again tried to be sold a regular priced lane for the 4 friends. They had no solution, no accomodation other than pay full price and viola! a lane would be available. This place is going nowhere fast. We just had my sons birthday party here and it was awesome! Wyatt, the manager on duty, was extremely helpful and so nice. The vibe was so much fun, great music, food tasted fresh, everything was clean, and they had the best set up for our area. It was decorated perfectly for a 12 year old. I honestly would give this place a negative star.. I went to bowl the night rate ($21.99/ea) with my family and nephews (party of 8) today at 8pm. We were put on the wait list, so we can be placed on 2 lanes. While waiting, we observed lanes opening up, and together, (time 8:30pm). The personnel never advised us the lanes were open. I went up to the employee at the register, and advised her lanes were open. She said she was waiting for lanes 17 & 18 to be cleaned, since a party had finished. Once the lanes were clean, they would tell us. It's now 9:10pm and still nada. I approached another employee that was at the register about the lanes, she then tells us that her lane was closed and waiting for the other girl to come back. ‍. We had our sons birthday today at the Riverside location and it was the best experience ever. We've had birthdays at other bowling venues but this place was amazing. Wyatt was very helpful and attentive. He and other staff members kept checking up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Had a great time here on a Friday night w my family. The place was packed with parties and events, but we were still able to get a lane for the four of us and order a quickly-delivered dinner. The food was quite tasty. Had the margarita flatbread pizza, buffalo cauliflower, fries, and giant pretzel. Service was fast in here even with a crowd- from checking in for a lane and renting shoes to checking out. The place was clean and there were plenty of team members around to assist us as needed. Absolute dumpster fire here. The service is so bad, and I assume it's because they automatically add 18% gratuity no matter what on food and drink. So, since they are guaranteed a tip, they feel they don't have to provide adequate service??? Hardly ever... and I mean HARDLY EVER saw her. Our balls kept going to other lanes or to never be seen again. The pizza was BURNT TO A CRISP. Ugh. I just did not enjoy my time here. I did, however, enjoy the Large Marge. Man! Best margarita I've had anywhere. The Parmesan garlic fries were also delicious. But there were far too many issues for our group of 7 to ever return. I mean what a mess! Seriously. And poor organization. 7 of us on one lane. 5 minutes later, a group of 8 placed on the lane right next to us. To share the seating. Rating this a one star because of poor communication! If you want to use the Groupon to bowl at this location, calling beforehand to ensure you are good to go is not enough. I called just to make sure my family and I were able to use the Groupon that they offer, and the person who answered said I was able to. When I showed up, it was a totally different answer. The manager at the time was not very helpful and seemed unsure of herself when I asked why I could not use my Groupon here even when I explained I called before and someone told me I was able to. She didn't seem to care about us being upset. I work in customer service and I totally understand miscommunication happens, but the least a manager could do is be confident in their reasoning and understanding. I honestly do not want to give my business to this location or Bowlero as a whole anymore. I've been disappointed by miscommunication among stuff multiple times and am not happy with their customer service. I'm not writing this to completely knock down this location, but just to let people be aware that you cannot use Groupon here and calling the specific location does not ensure anything.
