I don't mind "old fashioned" but it would be great if they could update somethings. The decor is dated. The one vending machine they have with snacks is always half empty and charges $1.50 for each item but ONLY takes quarters! Lol We went this last week for winter break with friends-six little kids and three parents. We reserved two lanes expecting it to be busy on a holiday week-and we were right, it was BUSY. We started bowling at 12:15 and by 12:45 the kids were hungry so we went to order food. Only to be told "the cook isn't here, he is on his way-should be here any moment". We waited another 20 minutes and went back up to the desk because the kids were all fussy and hungry-but again we were told "No cook, he should be here any minute". We asked if we could bring in food from nearby because kids were so hungry but they said "no". It was now after 1:00 and kids couldn't wait for a cook that was still a no show, so we packed up and left. We did ask if we could be reimbursed for last hour since we didn't bowl and they refused. No one ever apologized or offered to do anything for us. I understand things happen-but you would think they would be better prepared on a holiday weekend for a bunch of kids. This place is cheap and okay but I won't go back. This day totally turned me off coming back again as we left with six hungry kids and an hour of unused bowling.

The prices are all very reasonable. Two rounds of bowling plus a shoe rental was only a little over $20. A pitcher of Montauk IPA was only $13. And the reason i say, it's a great bowling alley with no strings attached, is because all of their lanes feature free standing bowling pins. Which makes for that classic sound we've all come to know and love whenever you hit a nice strike. Yes this place doesn't have the big screens over the pins showing an endless loop of music videos, but who really needs that anyway? Just good fun with good vibes at an affordable price.

I was shocked that there were tables with empty glasses and plates left and no one picking them up. Bowlero is supposed to be an experience not just a bowling alley. The Sunday deal is def a good value - I just know to eat/drink before arriving The kids really enjoyed the arcade, there's a lot of game variety.

We ordered a party platter (pick 3 things for $22) and the amount of food that came out was so much, we were surprised. It was definitely a good deal. Round1 in Hicksville is a large arcade and entertainment complex that covers more ground than most…read morelocations in the chain, and the variety of activities available makes it a viable destination for a group with different interests rather than just a place I end up at. I walked into a building where bowling, pool tables, ping pong, karaoke rooms, rhythm games, claw machines, and pinball all occupy different sections of the floor, and the energy in the space was consistent from the moment I arrived. The arcade is the strongest part of the offering, and this location carries imported games from Japan that I do not find at most American arcades. That is a meaningful distinction for rhythm game players and anyone familiar with the Japanese arcade scene. The claw machines rotate prizes regularly, and the selection of plushies is good, though individual machine difficulty varies considerably and some are more winnable than others. Coming in on a weeknight meant lighter crowds and better access to machines, but it also meant some claw machines were not fully stocked, so flagging a staff member to set up a machine if what I wanted was unavailable is worth doing. The facility is large and reasonably clean, though it gets loud during peak hours and seating for adults who are not actively playing is limited. Weeknight visits offer a noticeably more relaxed version of the same space. For a group activity destination on Long Island, Round1 delivers on variety and energy, even if individual elements like claw machine consistency have their limitations.

In the end, they gave me a new card, but my granddaughter lost all her points. That's when they just brushed us off and told my wife and me, "Oh well." We had one grandkid not able to get any prizes.

We went in for an Unlimited Wings & Free Play deal to promote a UFC fight. We were emailed about this deal. When we were seated, we were initially told by the host that we have to "pay for the deal in advance and it comes off the bill." This was not accurate. In fact, the deal was redeemed with a QR code that the waiter uses to apply the deal to the bill at the end. It seems every time I visit, the company is offering a deal that the staff are unaware of, and it leads to confusion and headaches. Service overall was good but a bit slow. Once we got our first round of wings, service was much faster and we got our extra rounds pretty consistently. Our waitress was super nice and a delight. The boneless wings were not bad! Nothing special but tasty enough to want a few rounds, especially with this deal. Overall, a great spot to hang with friends, get some food, and play some games! Despite the confusion, I would definitely come back for this unlimited offer. We got plenty of food (even leftovers) and played unlimited games for the following three hours!

From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly accommodating, making sure our lanes were set up, food came out on time, and everyone was taken care of. The food was surprisingly good for a bowling alley hot, fresh, and perfect for snacking between games. You could tell the team there knew how to handle big crowds and keep things running smoothly. The bartenders absolutely killed it last night they were nonstop busy, but still smiling the whole time. I'll admit, we probably drove them a little crazy with how many rounds of shots we ordered, but they handled it like pros. They were total sweethearts, keeping the drinks flowing and the energy high even as we got a little tipsy and loud. It really added to the party atmosphere and made the night even more memorable. Between the drinks, laughs, and friendly competition on the lanes, it couldn't have been a better way to celebrate our milestone. Everyone had a blast bowling and cheering each other on. The staff made us feel welcomed from start to finish, and I can honestly say I'd love to come back here again whether it's for another company event or just a fun weekend night out with friends. The place honestly hasn't changed all that much over the years, but it still looks really good. You can tell they do ongoing maintenance because it doesn't have that run down feeling that some mini golf places can get. My kids absolutely loved it. Mini golf can be a little boring for younger kids, but the glow lights, statues, and different obstacles made the whole experience much more interesting for them. They were having a great time and definitely want to go back. The course could use a little more variety, though. Some of the holes are pretty straightforward, and I think adding a few trickier obstacles or making each hole a little more unique would make it even better. That said, it was a great beginner experience for my kids and a good way to get them interested in mini golf. The facility was clean, the staff was friendly, and even the bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus. We also spent some time in the arcade, and the kids really enjoyed that too. The games are probably a little expensive per play compared to some other arcades, but everything was working, clean, and the games and machines seemed pretty up to date. We used a Groupon, which helped save some money. I did notice there were actually some better deals advertised on the Monster Mini Golf website if you use a promo code, but unfortunately we tried multiple times and couldn't get the code to work.
