We got 2 bowls for dinner. The fruit bowl was well made with tasty fruit, although there was too much peanut butter on top. The base was supposed to be a blueberry banana thing, but tasted like an overly solid frozen ice mass. The rice bowl had dried hard rice. The menu is not up to date (ex. rise & grind and peanut thai sauce are on the menu, but not offered anymore). Props though, the smoothie was good. read more

My wife and I have several food allergies between us and the staff was less than knowledgeable about what different items might contain (specifically the granola). I picked up the other evening and other than the fact that the food took over 20 minutes past the pickup time that they told me when I ordered..... The place has this really weird smell. Had to put my sweatshirt over my nose. It smells like sewage or something? I don't know if it was because it was a little warmer out but not warm enough to have the air conditioner on yet. Either way the smell was really bad. It didn't smell like bad food it's not like a bathroom. The girls working were fine. The girl who gave me my order when it was finally ready she was actually very sweet. She asked me if I was with doordash I said no the food was just for me so she said sorry about the weight and offered for me to grab a bag of chips I politely declined. Because to be honest I couldn't get out of there fast enough with that smell. By the time the food is ready my daughter's food from next door was cold. I ordered some sort of cold fruit bowl thing and a salad. The salad was okay the chicken kind of weirded me out. But it wasn't bad just nothing to write home about I wouldn't buy it again. The croutons were very soggy. I ate the stuff off the top of the salad and threw the rest of it away. The fruit bowl thing tasted good but it looked horrible. You couldn't see any of the toppings. And even though it was cold it was like warm if that makes any sense it looked like a bowl of soup. I only live 5 minutes away and I put it in the fridge as soon as I got home and hopes that it would help it a little bit but it didn't. My daughter and I split some of it and threw the rest away. My main concern is why this place smells so bad? I honestly feel bad for the young girls working there. I probably won't return again I much prefer the other places that do these bowls in Stuyvesant plaza . And then the wait time was just crazy and on top of it for girls walked in when I was waiting for my order that should have been ready and all four of their orders were ready before mine which I had placed online and drove there to pick up and then took an additional at least 20 minutes after I arrived past the time it said it would be ready. I could probably deal with some of the bad stuff if the food was good but unfortunately it was not. The only saving grace was the girl who handed me the food who is really nice. read more

With bases that are vegan and contain zero refined sugars or daily, this is a business I can get behind. Super solid acai bowl joint for the Albany/Schenectady region. My wife and I split a bowl and were thoroughly pleased with the food, and full when the bowl was done. My Make your own acai bowl ingredients: Blueberries, strawberries, bananas, almond slices, flax seed and organic Peanut Butter. All fruits and add ons were super fresh and tasty. The organic PB was the only thing that cost an extra $1. Everything else was unlimited (and there are plentyyy of options). I will definitely be returning for a healthy meal everytime I'm in the area. read more

I have tried mostly every açaí bowl and they have all been amazing! Bowled has a wide variety of bowls (açaí, pitaya, graveol, blueberry, banana, orange, green and coco bowl, oatmeal and sweet potato). Acai Bowl- looks and tastes great overall. Kinda of oblivious towards Açai bowls in general. So I don't have much overall knowledge on Bowls. But trying it here for the first time was excellent. The Serving size for the açai bowls seem to be reasonable in comparison to price . Would highly suggest trying this place out. Found a new favorite food to start eating. Let's gooo. I see these type of places popping up all over. Smart thinking right next door to a gym. Anything available in a bowl. Açaí or salad or smoothie. Very friendly staff. I would say, in the last few weeks I've tried 3. They all are the same. You use the same ingredients therefore you get the same results. However I guess what comes into play is the creamiest. A lot of smoke and mirrors here. First of all the environment is very stark- not cozy. Customer service seems they don't care to build relationships. Just get them in and get them out. Salads dressings are good. Ingredients/salads (romaine, spinach, arugula I believe) don't seem alive. The grain bowls are very small and the actual bowl they serve it in is ridiculously tiny you can't toss ingredients around to blend, the cost doesn't add up. The açaí base is pasty & so so. I just don't think this concept will last if they don't focus on making the product better and the little things. read more

Super nice to have a bowl place right near me! Of course had to try an acai bowl and the quality for the price you can't beat. And with build your own you have a nice selection of good toppings to choose from- some of my favorite being hemp seeds, pb, and cacoa nibs. There are also premium add ons, with things such as CBD, almond butter, and proteins. Can't beat it. All matched with superb customer service. They ran out of a flavor and we're very gracious with getting me another one. Im not much of a fussy person, plus any flavor would be great to me. The dressings were good and the smoothie was delish but considering the cost of the two bowls, the meal was a miss. Not everyone behind the counter wore masks and watching them talk with one another while flipping tone of the girls constantly touched her hair while putting my salad together kind of creeped me out. Why don't they require the staff to wear masks while serving food? The stuff is uncooked (except for the proteins) so you get what you get from each staff member that serves your food.
