This may be lengthy, so bear with me. First time here, looked over the menu which prices are higher than found online. We placed our order and the owner who has his face plastered everywhere had an arrogant attitude. He acted like we were wasting his time. We ordered 3 general tso combos with pork fired rice, two mango pineapple smoothies, and three mochi donuts. We asked for white meat which he said with a huff and puff that everything is white meat. This wasn't the case, the chicken was tough to eat and had a lot of dough compared to chicken. It had globs of sauce on it which did taste kind of good. We asked for pork fried rice which to our knowledge included in the 11.11 price. No no no it was 2 extra per plate. So now we're looking at 13.11 per combo. My fault for not reading the menu fine print that you can see was tapped to the window in my included photo, top left of the photo. Not only that, what I got was chicken fried rice which if I had to pick was the only good tasting item I had. The smoothies had a chemical taste to them, it didn't taste like a real smoothie. We asked for boba and he immediately said that is extra. They had 3 donuts o a rack that looked like a display case, so we ordered 3 to try out. First time eating mochi donuts. He took them out the case threw them in a box and put all our food on a table while we were standing in front of him. The rose donut tastes like eating a real rose. Not sure how you guys feel about that. The churro donut had little flavor. The cookies and cream donut was good. Total damage was 64 dollars. I would have been better off going to a buffet. 99% of the time, the food is great! The occasional one-off is prob just timing! The owner is amazing and friendly... I remember when I first ordered a while ago and thought they delivered, I cldnt make it out and was bummed to find out they didn't deliver. He said it may be a little, but he can make a quick run! Love this place!!! My favorite Chinese food in Clifton park! Secret: the lychee lemon smoothie is the best! I have had tons of stuff from here but the fried rice is always cooked perfect, the portions are large and the dinner and lunch specials are wonderful. Again- love the smoothies here! Not only is it cool to support local but the owners are just the nicest people and clearly know how to run a nice clean restaurant. I'd go here any day and love to recommend to friends and family. Before covid I took the parents here and we all sat and ate. They put on a football game for my dad and brother in law to check in on. Some dishes worth trying - Singapore noodles, drunken noodles, hunan chicken, sesame tofu. Anything from the Thai menu is great value for money. Unfortunately they stopped selling some of their dishes after they restructured the menu when they reopened after the Covid break. I used online ordering options. It was quick and easy and had section for things you might want changed. It let me pick pay at store which was appreciated. The restaurant is nice, modern, and bright. It also had some seating throughout. I didn't get a drink, but they have bubble tea, smoothy, or fruit juice. I saw the fresh fruit options and they looked good. I ordered crab ragoons. They were in the thin, crispy dough with a slightly sweet flavor to the cream chease. Yum! I ordered a combo General Tso with brown rice (yup they have brown rice) and eggroll (other option is wonton soup). The egg roll was the​ smaller one with the thin crispy crust (like crab ragoon). It had cabbage and bits of pork and a nice flavor. The General Tso chicken had a light batter with a softly sweet sauce. The chicken was great. It tasted (and had texture) of fresh made. Yum. I also ordered steamed broccoli. I didn't know what mixed veggies contained, hence the broccoli order and in request section I asked for snow peas and carrots to be added. The owner (Kasey, called me to verify). They were cooked perfectly and came with rice. It also comes with brown sauce but I put no brown sauce in request). Everything was perfect. I still love this place! The Chinese food is delicious! In my previous review I mentioned that I wanted to try the Thai selections. I wanted to update because I have tried three of the Thai offerings. I am not a fan, which is OK because they are awesome at Chinese offerings. First, I have had the Drunken Noodles, which were pretty salty. They were good, but not Drunken Noodles. Second, I have had the Thai Fried Rice. Like the above, does not taste like a Thai dish. Instead, a jazzed up Chinese Fried Rice. Lastly, the Pad Thai. This is terrible. Flavorless. Pretty gross. I do not recommend this dish. Hadn't found my go-to Chinese place, and this one was pretty close to work, so I gave a lunch special a go. My standard is chicken lo mein with wonton soup - three whole wontons, which is one more than I typically see in a lunch special, the lo mein had tons of veggies (again, compared to what I'm used to), and seemed to have a lighter flavor, which I definitely dig. This place is by far the best Chinese I've had in years. Unsure as to why they do not deliver but luckily I only live a mile away. The prices are decent and the food is not greasy at all. I didn't get a chance to taste the food. After I ordered lunch, I was told they don't allow their customers to pay with a credit card if the total is under $10, because apparently it's 1985. My lunch total was less than $7. I had no cash, and annoyed by such a ridiculous policy that demonstrates a lack of understanding about customer service, I left. And a 1/2 stars. This is kind of a bipolar review. My son and I stopped in on a Sunday between lunch and dinner time to grab a quick bite. He ordered his standard sesame chicken with an egg roll. I ordered the chicken and eggplant with an eggroll and a ginger/beet/apple/cucumber juice. The juice was $3.95 for what appeared to be about a 10 oz serving. I did not have a problem with this price since the juice was fresh and served to me with 15-20 seconds after the juicing. My chicken and eggplant was delicious. The brown sauce was slightly sweet, mildly sour and just the right amount of spicy. The chicken was unbreaded and nicely cooked. It was still tender and surprisingly moist. The rice needs some work. We both choose brown rice instead of white. I like my rice to be fluffy and light. This was more broken, sticky and heavy. The heaviness could have been caused by too much water cooked into the rice, IMHO. I didn't really care for the eggroll. I am not sure what about the taste did not appeal to me, it was just different in a way that did not appeal to me. The teenager happily finished the other half of mine along with his own so I can't really find fault. He did not care for his sesame chicken though, and I cannot remember him ever not being satisfied by this dish. I tasted a bite and I would have to agree. The sauce was not very flavorful and the chicken tasted like the oil should have been changed before this point. He finished his meal but was disappointed with what he was served. Service was very friendly, accommodating, and quick. Perfect for takeout dinner or lunch. The atmosphere inside was nothing special, a couple murals, a place to sit. The squid was the best thing we ordered. It was perfectly peppered and had excellent texture. Served with thinly sliced red onion, red and green pepper, which was a delicious pair. Also served with perfectly cooked broccoli. The vegetables overall were excellent. I'm used to ordering Chinese takeout and receiving few vegetables or, if there's any, they're soggy and completely overcooked. KCaffe was not this way at all- they were perfect. I ordered the curry shrimp, which was good and tasted fresh. It was served with brown rice which was tender like out of a rice cooker and not minute rice (thank god). The curry, however, wasn't excellent and the whole dish kind of left me with a feeling of, "eh". The scallion pancakes were pretty thin and greasy, doughy, and without many scallions. They were served with a brown sauce. My dad liked them but I probably wouldn't order again. Overall, I think this is a good, reliable place. Definitely would go back and try something new. read more

Won't be back!!!! We decided to try Kcaffe for something different based on the reviews we saw. Maybe it was an off night, but we didn't care for their "Chinese" dinners. The brown rice reminded us of oatmeal. The only way to make it palatable was to pour the garlic sauce over it. The wontons in the soup were falling apart, almost dissolving. We made the mistake of asking for steamed wontons. I guess the reason they don't offer it is the only way to keep them from falling apart is to fry them. The dough tasted undercooked. The eggplant in my beef & eggplant dinner was mush. Other reviews rave about this place, but based on our experience we won't try this place again! read more

This place is at the very least a cut above the other chinese food that currently exists in Clifton Park. Be warned though that the pad thai has jalepenos in it. The general tsos sauce is on the level and the vegetarian options are solid. I would like to see tofu appear on some of the thai offerings, but maybe when they get more established. Lower 4 stars. Could easily be a 5 if the service were a little better. Tried this out over my usual Chinese food a few weeks ago and the flavors have been great. Every time I've ordered (3 now) its all been wonderful. However the service is somewhat poor. The two kids working the counter seem nice and all but they have no idea what they're doing half the time. I'm not sure what they get paid to do. They don't make the smoothies or tea, they don't clear off the tables after people who dine in have left, and half the time they're confused as to which order is who if you've called in or ordered online. This place had amazing food! The plating of the food was very interesting as well. Perfect place to bring someone for a quick lunch or bite to eat. They brought us fortune cookies at the end and said thank you for coming. I regretted not leaving a tip as the service was great. They don't seat you or wait on you, but they do bring your food right to the table. It was not to busy when we went so our food came out very quickly. Clean, new Chinese restaurant! For lunch they have good 8.95 combination meals and great selection for vegetarians as they make have tofu as an option to everything. Was craving Thai Curry and this place did not disappoint. I got the the Thai Red Curry with veggies and shrimp for pick up and it was ready in 10 minutes as I was told. The portion was great; I was able to save half for lunch the next day. They also added plenty of shrimp which I was thrilled about because a lot of places tend to skimp.
