    I wish I could give zero stars! Do not waste your time. Extremely disorganized and does not listen to the patients needs or concerns!

    Inconsistent experience with scheduling and systems down. I have gone here for several years and My…read moreexperience with the actual technicians and office have always been efficient and easy. The scheduling line today was very challenging. The first call not great news, however professionally handled, I was asked to call back as the systems were down. The second call I was told they did not have my orders in the system. Understandable. However as I read off the information on my orders from the doctor, I was asked for ccp codes (really how would I know that when there is nothing on the order that states CCP code). Then I was told that the code for a mammogram and the assessment code didn't match and I had to call my doctor and get it revised and they could not schedule the mammogram.This order form looks exactly the same as every order form I have copies of. Then when I pressed I was told by the scheduling agent that she was not incompetent (words never used by me) and that she was sending me to someone else which of course rang until I was disconnected. The third call was more professional and I was able to schedule my mammogram with only a little pushback i.e. has to be scheduled after 365 days. Which I had to explain ( as I did last year ) that is not the case with my insurance and I understand that is the case with many insurance providers and that's why the scheduler must state that.

Today…read morewhen I arrived for a liver ultrasound they immediately began questioning me about whether I had eaten or drunk anything within the last three hours, and when I said no, they said, " You are chewing gum, and that causes saliva to go into your digestive track and affects the results. My written order from my doctor stated "Do not eat or drink for 3 hours prior to appointment. May sip WATER only." My internet search results state that saliva has no bearing as far as the digestive track is concerned for a liver ultrasound. No matter, at the time it was obvious to me that they did not want me there, just like the feeling I got from that place during my first visit. Why? I don't know, maybe because I am Hispanic? I don't know and I don't like to accuse people of racism, it's not how I was raised. But, I do have a great dislike of paying for unwelcoming, entitled people who act like they are better than you, and maybe, don't even like their jobs dealing with the public. I will never go back there and there are plenty of these businesses that will gladly take my money without treating me like dirt. If you are of minority ancestry, do yourself a favor and go to Simon Med or anywhere else to be treated like a decent human being.

My doctor originally sent the order to BayCare, but the soonest appointment they had was a month away... at 5:45 a.m. on a Sunday. Absolutely not. So I started calling around and Gulf Coast MRI got me in the very next day. Immediate win. From the moment I walked in, the ladies in the office were AMAZING. This was my first MRI ever -- and I ended up needing two -- and they walked me through everything step by step. They were so kind, so patient, and totally held my hand through the whole process. They didn't take my insurance insurance (but they do take some), but it was $300 per body part, and honestly, between my HSA and what I would've paid toward my deductible anyway, it probably cost me the same (or less). For next-day service? Worth. Every. Penny. The machine is loud (no surprise there), but they let me jam to 80s music the whole time, which made it way less intimidating and honestly kind of a vibe. I walked out with two CDs in hand and they let me know my doctor would have the radiology report within a few business days. Efficient, friendly, professional, and just overall great humans. If you need an MRI and don't want to wait weeks while living in pain, this is your place. Total rock stars!

Last Friday, I called requesting detailed reports from three prior pelvic ultrasounds because I am currently facing a significant medical issue and had an appointment with a new specialist. I clearly explained that I needed the full reports so my doctor could review my complete history and understand the progression of my condition. I was told I would receive them Monday. Monday passed and I received nothing. On Tuesday morning, I called again and was told there was no record of my request. I was promised it would be sent within two hours. It wasn't. I called again and spoke to the same person, who again said there was no request on file. I was again promised I would receive everything shortly. What I finally received was only a very brief summary -- not the detailed reports I had specifically requested. When I called back to clarify, I was told that this is the only information patients receive and that if I need anything more detailed, my doctor must request it directly. This contradicted what I had initially been told. Under federal law (HIPAA), patients have the right to access their medical records, including imaging reports. I was simply trying to prepare responsibly for a specialist consultation regarding a serious health concern. Being repeatedly told there was no request on file, receiving conflicting information, and ultimately being given only minimal summaries felt dismissive and unprofessional. This was not a casual request. This was about ensuring my doctor has the full picture to make informed decisions about my care. I hope management reviews this process and improves communication and documentation of patient record requests.
