This year, I ordered wreaths on Nov. 30 with the expected shipping date of 2-5 days. One of my wreaths was not delivered until Dec 19 and the others were received on Dec 13. Both well beyond the stated 2-5 day shipping time. There was no communication at all about the delay. If they had communicated, I could have ordered another gift that would have been received in a timely manner. And after spending over $250 in wreaths, they offered a $10 gift card as an apology. I went in earlier this week to try on some boots and to get feedback on a pair I had to buy online. The gentleman helping me was amazing and super helpful in letting me know the ones I got were not suitable for my calf type and helped me find a very comfortable new ski boot. We were prepared to pay for parking and entrance to the park as per the instructions on the website. Today it was free which was nice. The drive through the entrance to the parking lot was scenic and well marked. At the lake we met Grace and Wes who outfitted us with life jackets and made sure we knew where to go. We also saw a map of where not to go. They are asking for people to not go near the dam, but that wasn't an issue as there is a ton of open space to explore. The lake was quiet, scenic, and beautiful! Without jetskis, boats, etc we were able to hear birds and fish jumping in the water. The sounds of nature really made it seem like an escape that would only be experienced much further away. The two hours flew by, and we are already planning another trip back. Awesome morning 5 minutes away from Parker.
