Now, the last time I had authentic Ethiopian food was many years ago, with the same best friend at this Ethiopian spot in Orlando, FL - the name of which is escaping me. Needless to say, it's been YEARS. So, I was very excited to visit Gursha Eats because my best friend had done nothing short of speak AMAZING things about this local eatery. And, naturally, Gursha Eats did not disappoint. Again, I repeat, what a gem! The staff were just the absolute sweetest! Service was top-tier and quick as can be. However, the food was the MAIN attraction. I got the platter, so that I was able to try a little bit of everything, and wow, wow, WOW!! It was so flavorful. My goodness! I am sure, in time, they will slowly convert the decor to more traditional Ethiopian aesthetics. And even if they don't, as I mentioned, the fusion of cultures kind of works well. It definitely has a nice homey feel to it, too. So, overall, you just get the feeling of visiting family. It is just a warming and inviting spot to visit.
