We stopped in just before a regional high school playoff game, and the place was packed with great energy. Even with the crowd, the staff was quick, friendly, and clearly focused on customer service The old-fashioned cocktails were top-notch, and the bourbon selection was one of the best I've seen around. The wings were crisp and flavorful, and the burgers were outstanding, I highly recommend the Truffle and Gouda Burger It's easily one of the best I've had in a while. An awesome little spot for good food, great drinks, and excellent service before the big game. Highly recommend!

Stopped in for a quick dinner. We absolutely adored the Broasted Grippo wings, sooooo yummy! Shrimp taco were a little on the watery side and could use more flavor they were a little bland. We sat at the Bar and received excellent prompt service. Would definitely come back for those Grippo wings, they were perfectly tender inside yet crispy on the outside.

Undoubtedly one of the best places to eat in Middletown! Our appetizers were fantastic and so were the entrees. Everything was a great price and came out surprisingly fast. The building is on the smaller side but we were able to make a reservation before arriving. It's a cute place that you should definitely try!

We enjoyed it! The food was excellent, though not a huge selection. I would describe it as elevated bar food; highly elevated, plus there's Chicken and Waffles on offer! Is this available all day; are there different menus for dinner time? I do not know. Ours was a Sunday noon visit. Of course I went for the C&W. Our waitress, Danielle, asked if I wanted it tossed in the honey hot sauce. It was a very good question and I opted to take it on the side. Way more hot than honey, and I was glad to be able to drizzle and dip. The Waffles were excellent, crispy soft and just sweet enough. The syrup pour was generous. Chicken nice and tender. Phenomenal dish. Danielle, by the way, was one of the best waitresses we've experienced in recent memory. Shout out! My husband had the All American burger and loved it. The fries were special, lightly seasoned (didn't need salt) and pillowy soft inside. The half sour pickles were great! Lots of white tiles makes it very bright inside. Reclaimed wood and iron piping were included in the decor too. It seems kind of small, but when I back to visit the very clean and accessible ladies room, I noticed a much bigger second dining room with its own bar. It was not in operation at the time. I was unhappy that they only offered the extensive bourbon and drink list via a QR code. They should be proud enough of what's on offer to have quality printed lists. They didn't seem to have a problem with this in the past! I saw the photos on Yelp! They also try to steer you to use that for the food menu too but at least those are available in print (but missing a couple items, LOL). It didn't bother me because nothing would've been more appealing than the chicken and waffles. But, it might annoy you. Pro tip 1: the Fancy Sauce is perfect for dipping fries! Pro Tip 2: if you sit at one of the high tops by front window, your table will experience a tremor every time that front door slams closed. Keeping this one on the brunch list for sure.

The food we ordered was amazing. The service as well was amazing. This is a family friendly place so that is even better. We had short rib sandwich, american burger, and crispy shrimp. I had the hero beer which is a very good amber malt beer comparable to yuengling. Will return and I definitely recommend. Close to Land of Illusion.

It was just ok, nothing to special where I would say let's go back. The inside was very well decorated and the service was friendly and quick. The food even though I just got a chop salad off a very limited menu it was just ok nothing special just a normal salad with a lack of toppings other than 100s of very hard croutons along with hard bacon lol For 21.00 I got a bowl of lettuce with croutons and 1 glass of Moscato. **my friend ordered the se thing but paid for add ons like the scrambled egg lol and chees

Checked out this place for dinner the other night. We got the dynamite shrimp as an appetizer & it was delicious! Fried shrimp & the sauce on it was a little spicy and terrific! They have quite a menu from chicken, salads and burgers. I got the in & out burger. It had cheese and sautéed onions and their signature sauce. It was double patties as well. Loved it & loved the sauce! The fries were beer battered- my favorite kind, but I've heard they do very good gluten free fries there too! The ambiance was cool! Lots of bourbons behind the bar & a classy cocktail menu. One side of the restaurant is smaller with a small bar and the other side is much larger with another bar area. Didn't try a cocktail this time just had a beer, but I will definitely be back! Our service was also excellent!

Very surprised! We are building a home in the area and wanted to find a local spot to eat at. Friends had recommended Bourbon Kitchen, after reading reviews we decided to give it a go. We arrived at about 7 Pm on a Sunday, the only available seats were at the bar. Chris was the bartender, very friendly, helpful and a great last name to be working in a Bourbon bar. The bride had the bbq tacos and I had the chicken and waffles. Both were wonderful and we finished it off with Bourbon Cake , a great recommendation from Chris. Definitely a great meal and great service and the bourbon selection is top shelve. We will be back with friends. read more

Tried this place out tonight for a early appetizer but ended up having dinner and drinks once we saw how nice the place was. The waiter was very informative and helpful, they have a huge beer, bourbon, wine selection plus a full bar. The food was very fast and cooked perfectly. I tried the chicken tenders covered in the Grippos infused BBQ sauce and it was amazing! Came with frys and coleslaw that was also great! We will defiantly be back soon! read more

This is a great place for food and drinks. The bartenders were super attentive and kept the order of who was being served next in line. The IPA was new on the market and ice cold. The special was great, which was pancake-battered boneless wings with funnel cake fries. The bourbon bbq burger was huge and really good. Definitely will go back again. Also they've replaced the hotdog section with tacos, just for all you 'dog lovers, FYI, but every taco looks fantastic and I can't wait to try them. read more

We ordered takeout this time and wasn't happy at all. I only live 6 minutes from there. I had the Bernie Mac burger. The hamburger was over cooked with charred edges. My side choice was extremely cold/soggy sweet potato fries:-( We Also ordered the Bourbon's Melt burger. The bread was suppose to be sourdough but I assure you it wasn't. Also the pepper Jack cheese and pickled jalapeños didn't make their appearance :-( Can't chuck it off that maybe the cook was overwhelmed because only a few people were there. This was my first time ordering takeout with them so I think I will stick with eating there. I really like this place but this was definitely a eye opener for take out. read more

Love trying new places! This place has worked the kinks out. Nice menu, nice bar. My husband and I shared the Asian bbq brisket & gyro tacos. Very fresh. The Asian ones needed less sweet cole slaw, more Asian zing. Gyro was good, just not used to adding lettuce to my gyro. But...they had fry sauce!!! So will be back! read more

Loved their take on "street food" in a seated restaurant, especially the ways you can make each dish your own by choosing burger or chicken, fries or mac and cheese. Good local beer selection and tons of Whiskey to try if that's your thing. Staff was great as well. We will be back! read more

Easy to overlook this gem, but don't!! The food is outstanding; the bar menu unrivaled! Courteous service, and.....very very attuned to the cautions required during this (I'm sick of it) Covid pandemic. As others have said, the Gyro tacos were FABULOUS. Others in my party had the double patty burger (fantastic), and one of the salads..amazing. Excellent beer, wine, cocktail and whiskey selections. I had a Red Ale, AND...(probably should not have done this)....a Sazerac cocktail. Most bars in our region can't do a Sazerac (Century Bar in Dayton being the sole exception). A great time!! Do yourself a favor, visit Bourbon's Kitchen! You will like it, I promise. read more

With my first time exploring this little restaurant, I can positively say that it was a success. Our waitress, was insightful about the menu and the flavors that came along with each item. I personally tried the Bourbon BBQ Burger with fries. The burger was fanominal! Each flavor coincided with each other perfectly. Granted, I customized the burger a bit, but the hardiness of the burger was there. Unfortunately, the fries that came with the burger was bland. The fries were not seasoned at all and that put a small damper on the meal as a whole. But, other than the unseasonably fries, I would most definitely return to enjoy more menu items! read more

Some of the best food I've ever eaten! Very fresh and I love the unique twists to their menu items. Small menu but a great variety. Our server was on it! he was very fast and super nice. Not one issue I think my only complaint is that the inside is very small, but when you're sitting and eating you don't feel that you're on top of the people around you. Amazing bar selection too and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We will definitely eat going back and recommending. read more

Best place in town. Everything here is stellar, from the food to the beverages. Favorites are the Grippo's burger (just trust the strangeness), breasted chicken platter, and chicken and waffles. The tacos are amazing too - really haven't found a way to go wrong here. Also, splurge on the sweet potato fries. The tangy dipping sauce is perfect. read more

Excellent place to eat. Great service, atmosphere, and delicious food! Small place but HUGE flavors. The broasted chicken tenders are nearly the size of a small chicken breast and the best I have ever had. They really need no dipping sauce. Grippos burger was extremely juicy and killer flavors. All the sides and apps we tried were great as well. Extensive craft beer list and reasonably priced for what you get. We will return. One of new favorites!!! read more

I ordered the Chicago Dog ($5) at the counter & it was ready in about 5 minutes. An authentic Chicago dog is an all-beef frankfurter on a poppy seed bun topped with yellow mustard, chopped white onions, bright green sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle spear, tomato slices or wedges and pickled sport peppers. First of all, my hot dog had too much mustard. I could barely taste anything else. The hot dog did not pop when I bit into it & was squishy which signals poor quality. No poppy seed bun. For $5.00, I expected an authentic Chicago dog. Disappointing! I probably won't return because I expect a quality hot dog when I pay top dollar.

As I was eating my food, where I was sitting in the restaurant I noticed a Middletown Police cruiser pulled and parked across the parking lot in front of Donatos Pizza. My first inclination the Officer was eating her lunch/taking a break or maybe there was an issue at Donatos. But I continued with my meal at the same time I thought it was odd. I believe I was there in the restaurant for a good 45 minutes. As I was finishing up my meal I came to the realization that one of the workers (Skyline) called the Middletown Police Department and reported that I was a suspicious customer??? Then I remembered when the server initially took my order when I arrived another employee went outside and was talking on her phone....again I don't know if she called or another employee did. Well after I was finished I went to pay my check and after I got my check, As I walked to exit and was outside the restaurant the police officer then left the parking lot. I didn't do anything wrong I was courteous to my server and the rest of the staff there. And of course I was the only African-American in there. It's very unfortunate that members of this establishment feel that every man or woman who happens to be a certain race gets racially profiled like I did. I intend to contact their corporate office know about this. I know that this Skyline is a franchisee and I will never return to this one again and will tell everyone I know about my experience.

. It's small but clean and cozy. We were surprised when we walked in on a sat at lunch time - that it was not very busy. After we ate, we were even more surprised because it should be packed all the time! The food is really good - we had burgers and fries and it was the best burger on sourdough that I have had in some time. No salt on the table for the fries - then I realized they were so perfectly seasoned I didn't need salt. The special sauce stuff is really good, didn't even ask for ranch! A little pricey but seems like the world today and the food was so good, this time price was worth it. Waitress was perfect. For dinner my husband wanted to go back! He said we could order something different, that's how much he liked it. We went somewhere else instead and should not have!! I had my sister's surprise bachelorette party there. They let us come in early so we can decorate and the waitresses were so kind to help us set up decorations. The food was amazing, the appetizers are huge and almost count as a meal itself, the service was fantastic and we were always checked on. Great place to hang out and have dinner and drinks.
