My friend and I met up at Broken Barrel Bar for a drink and a bite to eat, and it turned out to be a great choice for catching up. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Whether you sit inside or out, the atmosphere is perfect for conversation and laughter--definitely a nice spot to unwind or meet with friends. We kept it simple and just ordered appetizers: the Reuben Balls and the Arancini. Both were tasty, but I have to admit I was a little let down by the Arancini. Traditionally, arancini are made with a risotto filling, but here they were more like mozzarella balls with a meatball on the side--not quite what I was expecting. Still, the vibe and service were great, and I'd come back again to try more of the menu!

Door dashed this recently. The pork cutlet was amazing. The fries delicious. The pork was huge. I ordered the pecan bread pudding and it is do die for. My only complaint was there was no eating utensils included. The dasher knew it was going to a hotel. I would definitely order again. This time specifically ask for utensils

We have only tried the flatbread pizza so far. Other than price, not sure if there is a difference in size. They are a decent size for the price. You can add ingredients on to make them more personal. I feel the sausage could be a little more flavorful. It's not an Italian style but it's okay. It's much better than the chain pizzas in town. Still haven't sat down and eaten in the restaurant but the staff and decor are nice. I have always liked the bar area

Cute little place in Middletown. My husband and I split the Rueben balls with the homemade 1000 island dressing and the bbq burger. Both were very tasty. Definitely other things on the menu I wanted to try but they were out of several things. The server was very nice and attentive. Will be back to see what else is good.

My son took me here for lunch - first time trying it. Friendly service - I recognized the owner from their other restaurant, Cracked Pot. I asked her if the crispy chicken sandwich was hand breaded & she stated it comes in already breaded. However, when she delivered the Chicken Sammy, she asked the chef to bread the chicken breast by hand. It was good but breading was bland - needed some seasoning. She agreed & said they may start hand breading the Chicken Sammy. Love that she went out of her way to make my first meal here a success. The sweet potato fries that came with my sandwich were very good. My son ordered the Sweet & Spicy burger with regular fries. He said it was delicious. Would definitely return here.

Startup sister restaurant to Cracked Pot. Simple menu. Excited to see how they develope. Service was timely and unintrussive.

The other short girl that looked preggo was so rude and just ignored me when I was the only one at the bar, but my male friend went up and she went right to him. Judging by the other reviews, the place gets rowdy later, but I've never had any issues in the afternoon (I am also a quiet and polite white man; change any of those and the experience may differ). I've been here alone and with friends. I usually sit at the bar, have a beer or two, and typically some food. The food (burgers, pizza, wings) is surprisingly good. Taking a point off because I do believe I got food poisoning here once. The place looks like it is built to be abused. Cinder block prison-style restroom, stage that probably should have chicken wire in front of it; you get the picture. Barmaid is very nice and attentive. The clientele is consistent; I seem to see the same people here every time I stop in. It is very casual and reasonably priced.

The place is a block or two off the main road, in a light industrial area. The building itself looks like an old house. It is very dark in there (disorienting at first) with a long bar and some tables. On Saturday afternoon, it was bumping - there were patrons at the bar and at some tables, and they were having a good time. Everyone here knows everyone else. This is the kind of place that serves Natural Light in a can. I didn't notice any draft beer, just liquor and beer in bottles/cans. Cheap drinks. I was hoping to eat, because the one other review mentioned food (and it was on the sign) but I saw no evidence of food...no one else was eating, there were no menus, etc. I didn't ask about it; had a beer or two, listened to some others chat, watched some basketball, and took off. No one was smoking in here, but you will come out smelling like smoke. It is divey, but there's nothing wrong with it. If divey is what you're into, check it out.

The bartender greeted us as we walked in & made us feel right at home. We found a table & placed our soft drink order. They brought us each a can of soda pop with a glass of ice. My husband didn't want wings so he ordered a 3 topping pizza (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms). I tried a slice of his pizza & didn't like the canned mushrooms. He liked it though. I ordered 12 hot garlic parmesan wings & they were delicious. The celery & blue cheese with my wings was good. We will definitely eat here again on a Thursday evening for more 50¢ wings.
