So we made it back after only three short years, and the great news is nothing has changed. The beer is still cold, the place is still clean and comfortable. We're here on a late Saturday afternoon and the crowd is very light. I can only guess that's due to the new fears around COVID. Yea, 2 dollar talls every Tuesday and Thursday. Stacey is the absolute best and Danielle pours the best cocktails. They have bands on the weekends which can be a little too loud to have a conversation. We primarily use it for happy hour and leave before the bands start. You should too! read more

Redneck central. I've seen better 7th grand bands than the one this past weekend. The place is laid out terrible, to even go to the bathroom is a fight through mullets, stretched out stretch pants, and some weird old guy dancing by himself. There's only a 30-40 minute wait between drinks, it's really great. I couldn't jump out of there fast enough. As I left, I let out some farty's. read more

Our first time stopping by. So very glad this bar is able to operate during this pandemic. Bartender was great. Food was delicious, best Steak Hogie I have had in years. The mushroom sauce is the best. It was a bit dark for the late afternoon. They have music on Saturday nights and you can reserve a spot at the bar or a table for $5 a person. Came to see a band with some friends since I relocated not far from here. What a fantastic time we had! Martina took great care of us. The band was really good and the food was great. It was packed, so we had to wait a bit for our food but it was just fine. Was hot when it arrived and delicious. I have been back every time I get near Monroe. It's kind of a hidden gem - the outside doesn't do justice to the inside. read more

I haven't been in while. I enjoyed most of the workers in the front bar area. However, the food could be better. Every time I was going in there was always different cook. He would bring the food out. I'd say why don't you cook your wings like BW3's. He would say no deep fryer In the back or ventilation system. Then I heard from friend they want people to eat healthier. Funny look at the menu at some of the items. Look outside they have smoking area that is big with covered roof. I came here the day of my birthday. I'm a 25 year old female. I've been here plenty of times but I haven't been in awhile. I approach the bar and have a seat and every employee makes eye contact with me, no one say hi or greets me in any way. It takes 10 minutes for someone to even ask me if I wanted anything. This is a Friday night, before 9pm. There's maybe 20 people here and the actual bar isn't even full. I'm in plain sight. I even have a big ass button on that says it's my birthday. I'm not looking for someone to wish me a happy birthday but I'm clearly not here to avoid conversation with people. But this place definitely just lost a customer. Awful awful customer service. I'm very disappointed. read more

Live music is good and all, but majority of the bands play the same style or music from the same era. Alot of 70's and 80's cover bands. Those songs are great, but we've heard them all on the radio for years and in bars for years. Instead of having bands on Friday and Saturday night, maybe have live music only 1 night of the week and a dj on the other so people can hear current music while they enjoy drinks and unwind from the work week. Everything else about this bar is great. Good staff and ownership. Please understand that this only 1 person's opinion here. If the bar does well then I am happy. Not every band that plays here does 70s and 80s cover. There are some decent bands that play newer stuff as well. read more

Mostly cheap, lower quality beers on tap, nothing local, regional or crafted. The wings were soggy and not very appetizing. Looks like a decent place to see a small show or play some games if you're going to drink from the well or think Nati Light should ever be on tap. Untapped potential. Froggys seems to be a long standing staple in the Monroe area, yet refuses to mold with the changing demographics of the area. With a prime location that is positioned to make plenty of money it continues to fall short of surrounding competition. It's niche feeds into a group of individuals that makes the environment not inclusive to many people......the food is good bar food, the bartenders always nice and attentive, the facilities always kept. The layout fair with full of potential. If minor changes were made to the interior, musical guests and various aspects were tweaked to make it feel either family oriented or as fore mentioned more inclusive of all demographics the establishment would see growth and more community acceptance .....at least revenues. read more

This place sucks! In 30 mins got served one sucky beer! And had to wait for service! If you have a need to to anything better than to sit and wait on zero service come here!!! It's dirty! The service sucks and waited well over 30 min for a second beer which I finally left! read more

smell smell smell if you smoke go the this bar if not do not go. they let the smokers smoke away - wish they would send them outside to patio but the owners smoke so it is their way. city member hang out there and parties so maybe i should give it a second chance if it is good enough for them to smoke all kinds of cigs, drink and flirt w everyone. seen people be rude to others. read cops report and FROGGY is the place to be seen in MONROE. one bartender is nice and pretty. a few bartenders are lazy and asking personnel questions according to a few drunks i talked w there. bathrooms have broken things we need to use. all around smoke, smoke drunks cops have to show up owners do nothing but drink then leave total trash true trash. going to where smokers are outside alot of bars are that way now. if you happen to be overweight you will feel at home in the pen.
