Judging by the other reviews, the place gets rowdy later, but I've never had any issues in the afternoon (I am also a quiet and polite white man; change any of those and the experience may differ). I've been here alone and with friends. I usually sit at the bar, have a beer or two, and typically some food. The food (burgers, pizza, wings) is surprisingly good. Taking a point off because I do believe I got food poisoning here once. The place looks like it is built to be abused. Cinder block prison-style restroom, stage that probably should have chicken wire in front of it; you get the picture. Barmaid is very nice and attentive. The clientele is consistent; I seem to see the same people here every time I stop in. It is very casual and reasonably priced.

It is very dark in there (disorienting at first) with a long bar and some tables. This is the kind of place that serves Natural Light in a can. I didn't notice any draft beer, just liquor and beer in bottles/cans. Cheap drinks.
