They had some local bottled beers which it is always a plus. Why sit in a bar half way around the world for a beer you can pick up at your local bar. The views are excellent of the harbor. It is a great place to sit, relax, and catch up with friends. Only complaint is that the table and chair I sat at were more for casual sitting. It was a little uncomfortable for a meal. Other than that, the food and views were very good.

PASS: Pastas and risottos probably aren't the best thing to order here. Risotto is a hit or miss dish for me- I got a pumpkin risotto and the flavor was fine but it was overcooked and too mushy for my liking. It's weirdly hidden, inside of another business (not telling), on the second floor of a random building (also not telling). The hours are not posted, and I assume are made up depending on how folks feel. Only one of two elevators in the building actually stops on this floor, and you get to figure out which one (still not telling). The door guy, lies to you, and tells you that there is no cafe at all. It's classic, legit, wonderful, slightly crazy, but still delightful Hong Kong. And, when you finally figure out where it is, and manage to make it there, you're rewarded with amazing coffee, and beautiful late art. You're still in Wan Chai, but life is suddenly better. But if you want to sip a fancy drink and sit back with some close friends, this is where you want to be. The lights are dim, the music is jazzy, and the staff treat you with utmost friendliness. I didn't get to try their food but I did get to sample their extensive booze list. They've got a fantastic collection of wines and some of the most creative cocktails. Like the Tap Sonic, one of the most stunning drinks I've ever seen. It's a floral G&T, flavoured with elderflower, and has actual frozen flowers inside the ice cubes. Or China Trap House, a fruity green tea infused drink served in a traditional Chinese bowl. They even put effort into their mocktails, like the Music Tower, which has fresh pineapple strips stacked on top, looking like some kinda french fry Jenga game. All were absolutely delicious and will set you back around HKD $100-150. The main attraction is the live band. Yes, they were fantastic musicians. Yes, they've got a great playlist that mixed the new and the old, all with their own twist. But they were also super interactive and gave people shout-outs and took song requests.
