This is what they sent for thanksgiving turkey dinner

The picture is what was sent to me for thanksgivinb dinner with stuffing, sweet potatoe & candy carrots, mashed potatoes & gravy, ....WTH IS THIS!!! I've seen better looking dog food, not to mention the disgusting scent omg!!!! For $38 too!!!! In what country is this even considered edible, Shame on you guys! I know you're a run of the mill diner, but selling that as a turkey thanksgiving dinner, charging that much & on the receiving end we can't eat for thanksgiving dinner! Wow!!!!

Cinnamon toast, crunch, pumpkin pancakes, veggie omelette, and one of the breakfast specials.

This place is amazing!!! Their choices were vast, their quality was great, and their service was friendly. 10/10 for a diner. They do their omelette's right, and they had pumpkin pancakes that were delicious. The breakfast sausages were huge, too. Bacon perfect. Everything was sooo yummy and the pricing is on point. Old school diner feel and vibe.

They're open 24 hours! The dinner specials are the best deals. Good quality diner fare with great friendly service.

I drive by this Diner at like 2-3 times a week, but actually have only visited twice. My most recent visit was because they were having a dine to donate event for my kiddos school. I got a chicken sandwich and it was DELICIOUS, my mom got pumpkin pancakes, and she really enjoyed them as well. Our waitress was SO NICE to my son. I I'm sure I will be back in the future, but the parking lot here is a little wonky so that's why I probably don't visit here often. This is one of my reasons for the 4 star review.

This is one of the cleanest diners.

I used to really love this diner. But it isn't the same. We went for Sunday breakfast. It's still a good diner but the prices are VERY high for the amount of food compared to other places. The servings are skimpy compared to other diners nearby. Coffee unfortunately is terrible. Weak and tasteless. That's a problem for a diner. Wouldn't be my go to if I had a choice.

I went this morning to eat and got the chicken franchise. The service was good and i got my food and was only able to eat one piece of chicken. It was good and decided to take the rest home. The day goes on and i decided to eat the rest of my food i heat it up and im eating it half way and realize the chicken wasn't cooked. You can clearly see its uncooked. Hopefully I dont get sick, very disappointing.

Gluten free wraps. Gluten free pancakes. The best fries. I enjoyed my Turkey Club Wrap and I enjoyed my 3 am diner run with GF pancakes and the whole she-bang--eggs, fries, OJ. Enough said. GF friendly diner food has reached Hudson County and it's not a moment too soon. Also, the honey mustard is hoppin'. Fast service. Parking. BYE. GO TO THE DINER AGAIN MY GF COMMUNITY!!!

However, as I was leaving, I noticed a display of U.S. Presidents' photos. Most of the photos were neatly displayed, including President Trump and other presidents, but President Obama's photo appeared noticeably different and was not displayed in the same manner as the others. Whether intentional or not, the presentation stood out to me and left me feeling uncomfortable. I believe businesses should strive to present historical and political figures consistently and respectfully. Unfortunately, this observation detracted from an otherwise positive dining experience. While I appreciated the food and service, I do not plan to return.

The menu is extensive, and they have a great selection of baked goods. They also make their own Challah bread, which I've gotten a couple of times. My go-to's are: - scrambled eggs, corn beef hash with home fries and an English muffin. - chocolate chip muffin, toasted with butter - beef Gyro platter (the tzatziki sauce is phenomenal!) - pancakes - fried zucchini sticks (hits the spot every time! I like to dip mine into the tzatziki sauce) It's a friendly place serving comfort meals.

This cake had 24 alternating layers of spongy chocolate cake and chocolate frosting. It was drizzled in chocolate syrup and sprinkled with powdered sugar. One side was completely topped with chocolate chip morsels with heaping mounds of whipped cream on both sides. This was unbelievably rich and chocolatey in texture. It was also served chilled, which is how I personally prefer to eat cake. I was also highly satisfied with the service. Didn't really have to wait for a table so that was good. Unfortunately everything else went poorly. Waitress was pleasant enough but didn't seem very attentive. But really the food was absolutely horrible I had the chicken BLT with fries. Bacon was overcooked, and chicken was bland. But the fries were so salty, it was almost inedible. I had to wipe the salt off each fry as I ate them. My sister got a burger and she said it was bland. Fries were also salty and she didn't eat them. My daughter got the fish and chips appetizer. Fish had no seasoning and the fries were too salty. All in all not sure what happened to this place but it's gone really downhill since I last went. Suffice it to say I won't be coming back.

It's basically an extension of the deli, not an actual restaurant feel at all. Our table was so close to the soda fridge that we couldn't move the chair back if we didn't want to break the door. Anytime a customer came to get a drink, we had to move so they could open the fridge door. The service was very good. Friendly young man. The food was good but a little pricey for the amount we received. We ordered an appetizer and bread bowl of pasta with bolognese. Their fresh mozzarella is very good. The bread bowl itself was not flavorful at all. We ended up throwing that part out. The sauce was good though. The other bread bowl we got was filled with pasta done in their Parmesan wheel. It was meh. Very dry. Needed more garlic or something for some oomph! The rainbow cookies were good but didn't seem any different than other places I have had them at, just pricier. Overall, it was ok but we wouldn't go back again.

For starters, they have free 1-hour parking (with validation) right next door which is a huge perk! Second, they're cash only. Third, this is definitely a local spot and despite a slight language barrier, the staff were incredibly warm & friendly. We ordered the Grande Pan con Bistec w Queso which is their large steak sandwich. We decided to split it and ended up ordering another sandwich midway through because it was that good. The sandwich is simple - steak, fries, onions, and cheese. The bread was the perfect texture and thickness, the steak was plentiful, the fries were salty & crispy, and the onions were tangy & bright. They're also known for their smoothies so we got two. Mamey is a tropical fruit tree native to southern Mexico and Central America. The flavor is closest to a melon, sweet potato, and caramel. I enjoyed this one but it's definitely on the sweeter side. Guanabana is soursop which is more custardy, sweet like banana and tangy like pineapple. I absolutely loved this one! This meal was so simple yet so satisfying. I highly recommend checking them out!

The restaurant has an interesting history. Even though the original opened in Cresskill, NJ, it unfortunately has permanently closed. However, not only is the Edgewater location amazing, but it had the guts to open during COVID (2022), survived, and is succeeding. The restaurant is beautiful inside and outside. Their decorations are tasteful, the presentation of the food is award winning, and the service is stellar. I started with a Mocha Cappuccino and it was so good. Served in a large mug, an airy/creamy top, and had the perfect amount of mocha happiness throughout. Before the meal even started, we were graciously given Za'atar (a popular Middle Eastern spice blend with an earthy, tangy, and nutty flavor, toasted sesame seeds, and sumac, with salt). It was crunchy, drizzled with oil, and I enjoyed how each thin pita bite made the spices explode all over the table. The entrees were: Strawberry French Toast. The next was the Falafel Platter (chickpeas and fava bean balls, served with tahini sauce, pickles, turnips, tomato, and mint). The last selection was the Avocado Toast (Citrus cured salmon over multigrain bread, tomatoes, onions, capers & citrus vinaigrette). Not only were all of these dishes beautifully presented, but all were filling, as well. My Avocado Toast kept me full for the rest of the day and the salmon was enjoyably salty, thin, and delicious. I noticed a dessert in their display case and ordered it. The dessert was the Riz Bil Ashta (Lebanese rice cream, infused with orange blossom water, blended with milk and cheese, and topped with crushed pistachios). This dessert tasted like a regal custard and the pistachios added an enjoyable texture that makes it recommended. Of course, I had to cap the meal with a Mocchiato. This amazing beverage followed the rest of the meal..... delicious, eyes closed good, and every sip was full-flavored. Thank you, Madison Café and Grill, for presenting a memorable meal and I wish you continued success.
