Sanitas is a SPOT in Boulder, for sure…read more It has a superb outdoor deck and patio with a mountain view (double bonus). It makes their already crisp and refreshing beer go down extra smoother (triple bonus). To top that, there's a McDevitt Taco Supply slinging out bites (quadruple bonus). And... of course... thanks to their kind staff and cool vibe, dogs and babies are encouraged to come hang with their drinking parents (quintuple bonus). With all these bonuses, you gotta check it out ASAP! Or if you're me, you gotta go back AGAIN. :D

It's become one of my favorite breweries to visit! It's one of the places that has such a large outdoor beer garden that it really doesn't matter if the beer is good or not. Turns out they make very good beer! I actually appreciate that they don't go overboard naming their beers. Most of them are named after their style/flavor i.e. Saison, IPA, Passion Fruit Sour. On my last visit the Hazy IPA was calling my name with 70 degree afternoon temps, and it was a patio pounder. Think the usual suspects when it comes to hops, fruity aromatics and flavor profile. With a lower IBU and sitting at 5.8%, it was the ideal beer on a sunny day. So much so that I had a few! Two fantastic bonuses here are the coffee and food programs. As soon as you walk in they have Bona Coffee Roasters, a fully functional coffee bar serving excellent coffee until 3pm most days. Outside you'll find McDevitt Taco Supply that has a great reputation in Boulder and Denver. And the long lines are a testament to their tasty tacos. One of the best places in Boulder to grab a beer. Bring a big group with you because they have the space to accommodate just about everyone. Sanitas, don't change a thing!

We held our Welcome Party at The Studio Friday night before our son's wedding. 5 stars for Rebecca…read moreand the team at The Studio. We (and our guest) loved the space. While it is industrial space it was cozy and just the right size for our group of ~120. We live in Seattle so planning an event remotely can be challenging, but Rebecca made it very easy for us with her excellent communication and great recommendations for party rentals and bartenders. Day of the event we were able to gain access to the space with plenty of time to set up and be prepared for our guest. We had a Studio staff member on site during our event for any support we needed - she was great! Plenty of parking for guest and a quick Uber (10 min from our hotel). I highly recommend The Studio for an event. We would definitely consider it for another party.

We had a wonderful rehearsal dinner at The Studio on a Friday night. Great different kind of venue,…read morevery helpful staff, accommodating of rental drop off and pick up, and really doesn't need much decoration since the industrial theme already exists. We did pay extra to have the Edison lights put up, (click on the photo to see them) which I recommend. We also used candles in hurricane containers which I also recommend as it gave the event a bit of magic. One thing to keep in mind is that if you are doing a week day event, you cannot get in to do decorating until 4:30p since this is a place of work. It did make our start time of 6p a little tight. We had the event catered but used disposable/compostable products. The kitchen area is open and perfect for a buffet. We also arranged for a Sweet Cow ice cream truck to come for dessert, which was a big hit and fun way to end the evening. I would do another party there given the chance.

The owner of this company is probably the most money-hungry, non-empathetic person I have ever had…read morethe displeasure of meeting. Heather forces her clients to use vendors that are not the best, but provide her with money back for booking with them. She receives all kinds of gifts from bands, rentals and even flower shops in the form of paid trips and actual cash. She receives massive kickbacks from her rental company that she keeps rather than giving that discount to her clients. The volume of unethical behavior from this company is insane and I'm so glad I found all of this out prior to booking my wedding with her. My advice, find a company that understands ethical business practices and book with them. Because with Heather, you'll pay her $25k for rentals and she'll walk away with $5k of it for her own pocket. But, she will try and charge you a percentage of the cost of the entire wedding as her fee while increasing the costs of these vendors to double dip. I bet if you ask any of the people that used her services listed on this website, they'll all tell you that budgets were blown way out of proportion because that's just how it is. Nope! You paid for Heather to live in Boulder and pretend like a big shot around town. If I were any of you, I would demand my money back. To people looking to book with this company, beware, you will pay a hefty overage just to support the owner. Find anyone else and make sure they don't have "preferred" vendors as she likes to state.

Their personalities are MADE for wedding planning and dealing with hard to please brides. They are both soft spoken, not be to confused with push over. They just have a calm nature about them that puts you you at ease and reassures the bride that they don't need to stress. I would consider myself a hyper-perfectionist. I had no doubt that I could plan my own wedding... IF I had unlimited time in my life to thoroughly review & interview every single vendor within a 30 mile radius! One of my favorite things is that Heather only recommends vendors that are superb. I feel that every single vendor at my wedding was the best of the best - truly! My guests have had endless compliments about it all as well, so it didn't go unnoticed. If Calluna Events could please me on the most emotionally charged event of my life with zero complaints at all, I have no doubt they can please anyone. :) You're in good hands with Calluna Events.
