I attended my niece's graduation party here and even as you drive up, you are impressed by the facade of the building. This is a standalone, purpose built venue (mainly for weddings) that provides a one-stop shop for the ceremony (indoors or outdoors), cocktail hour (separate room downstairs), beautiful backdrops for wedding photography, and the reception. For my niece's party, it was just the main reception room that we were in. I was really impressed that they also had separate rooms for the bride's party and the groom's party upstairs (elevator if you need it) but the staircase down from those rooms help to make a grand entrance for the entire party to kick off the reception. This is such a beautiful venue and we had a great time with family and friends. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a location for your wedding or other special occasion requiring a large space. read more

After attending two back to back weddings at the Chateaux, I thought I could provide some insight for future brides looking for their perfect venue. Yes, the Chateaux is absolutely beautiful! It radiates with romantic and soft touches from the fancy draping to the French feel of the balconies. But the main issue with this space is the sound! For both weddings, it was so difficult to hear the emcee and the bridal party speeches. And when the guests can't hear, it really detracts from the events that are happening that should be centered on the bride and groom. For example, at the first wedding, my friend was emceeing for her sister's wedding and asking people not to get in line for food yet (it was a buffet style) so that the bridesmaids could perform a surprise dance. But since it was so hard to hear her, people swarmed the food line and they had to rearrange the schedule to do the dance later. I experienced this personally as I was giving a maid of honor toast at the second wedding. There was so much ambient noise that I couldn't even hear myself talking. I even felt like I should cut my speech short because no one was listening. It really killed the mood. Not sure if the sound system could be improved by adding more speakers in the back area or if there will always be horrible acoustics because of the open space of the top floor. But if it is important for you to hear people speaking at your wedding, then I'd suggest looking elsewhere. If you are more concerned about the ambiance and photos of the event, then go for it here!! read more

I'm a pretty easy to please kind of person but I wouldn't recommend this venue to even my worst enemy. Chantelle is completely scattered and disorganized and missed several scheduled appointments with no apology or attempt at service recovery. She honestly couldn't manage even the simplest of tasks over a month of trying to communicate with her via phone and email. But Sarah is the worst of all. Completely unprofessional, rude, dishonest, and downright unpleasant to speak to. She makes it abundantly clear that customer service is the furthest thing from her mind. When me and my fiance attempted to express our concerns we were dismissed with lies and run arounds. We had our wedding at the Chateaux in 2021, right after the pandemic restrictions had lifted. Our experience with the staff was fine. Chantelle was friendly, then we talked to Marissa a couple of times and she was nice and then closer to the final date we got a new gal, young and in college that worked there part-time that was asked to assist during our day. She was nice but could tell not very experienced. The vendors we chose through the Chateaux were great. We had a couple of mishaps as you do with any wedding but they were rectified promptly. I do have a suggestion; After all the money you spend and appts., phone calls, emails etc. going back and forth throughout the process and getting to know the staff and forming some sort of relationship, it would have been nice to have someone from the Chateaux reach out to us after the event at some point to just see how things went and get feedback and thank us for our business but that didn't happen. Once the event was over, that was it. Never heard from anyone again. I left a couple of items in the dressing room, nothing too important and I tried calling a couple of times and didn't get a call back so I just let it be. Also, there's food we were supposed to get that was packed up that we never received and never got a call about that either. Not a huge deal but I think a follow-up call would have been nice just to button everything up. All in all we had a beautiful wedding and all staff was accommodating that evening. Loved our DJ, caterer, photographer and cake vendor. Given the timing of our wedding and all that was going on in the world I will give some grace. Absolutely do not have your wedding here. I scheduled my tour for today a week in advance from todays date and get confirmation text asking if I will be at the appointment the night before. I reply to the message letting them know I will be there and they confirm it in there schedule. The next day when I arrived I could immediately tell their photos have been touched heavily. The facility is surround by neighborhood houses and is not as specious as the photos look. We walk inside and are greeted they ask who my appointment is with and tell my family and I to have a look around while the planner wraps up speaking with a client. Walking around the facility there is noticeable dirt and damage everywhere. The furniture is stained. You can tell the place was unkempt. 10 minutes later I speak with the lady who greeted me and she told me that they sent me an email saying that the time was unavailable and that I would need to reschedule. I promptly showed her my confirmation text and checked my email for a cancellation notice and there was none. At this point I am so checked out of the process, but I stay and listen to the information about the venue. She jumps immediately into pricing and package options. Doesn't ask the names of my guests or fiancé. Ask no details about my engagement or even take any interest in our relationship. The amount of hidden fees is ridiculous, and you must use their photographer and dj. They say the venue can accommodate 300 guests but yet all their packages have additional fees per person for every guest above 100 people at a fee of $50 per person. Save your money and go somewhere nice. This place isn't it. read more

I have DJ'd a lot of weddings and I have to say, I was really impressed with this venue. The newlywed couple chose a simpler package that was cost-effective for their budget. Even with that as a factor, it was beautifully set up. They did the ceremony inside (they have an outdoor set up as well). The room was very spacious and had a grand staircase to enhance the entrances. After the ceremony, guests were able to go downstairs for cocktails. While the guests were downstairs, the staff transformed the room from ceremony to dining and dancing. They were quick and ready to get the reception going. The acoustics in the room weren't challenging at all (which is a huge bonus from the DJ's perspective). Just a great and elegant location to host a wedding and reception! Also, it looks like it's brand new, built within the last year or so. They do a great job keeping the place look that way. read more

WARNING..... Do NOT book this venue for an event. They are a scam. They are completely unwilling to work with customers in rebooking for a date after the pandemic is over. They keep customers money that has been paid in full and force you to decrease your event to 50 guest maximum due to current regulations. You cannot have a DJ, dancing or mingling. You cannot take group photos or have a buffet style dinner. All which they first try to convince you that you can so you will move ahead with your event. Basically you pay full price for a Saturday 10 hour rental to accommodate up to 300 guest and you get 4 hours for 50 guest. BAD business during these times. read more

Howdy all. Short review - don't use this place, you will probably be sorry. My niece got married here recently. I saw it after they first opened and it was pretty cool. Unfortunately, I don't think they have kept up on maintenance. It worked for a venue, but barely. Building: Pretty much everywhere I looked, there was something in need of repair, cobbled together or half heartedly done. It smelled like mold or mildew in some parts of the building. There were actually broken light bulbs in their strands hanging from the ceiling where the minister would stand. Staff/services: Their crew was mostly ok, but didn't come across as happy to be there or very friendly. One of the security guys was more interested in getting into one of the maid of honor's pants than doing anything else. The wedding planner they recommended was good, unfortunately she isn't the one that showed up for the wedding. The girl that did show up must have been an assistant that was just learning. She was worthless. I'm not sure if they were a sub service of the chateau, so I can't truly say it's their fault. Definitely should not recommend them. The other person they recommended was for "photo booth" style pictures with goofy and fun costume items. Great idea, unfortunately, the girl running it did absolutely nothing to help. We didn't know where to stand or when the picture was going to be taken. In all, there is no way I would recommend this place. read more

It is a pretty place and having everything in one location is a plus for sure. They offer packages for weddings and the prices are good but beware, sometimes you GET what you pay for. The photographer was horrible, the worst pictures ever. The florist had pretty arrangements that were dying and falling apart before the ceremony started. There was no one to help me put up last minute decorations, it was summer, so I was so hot and sweaty, there went my hairdo! The food and drink were great and the roominess of the place was great, they should NOT force you to use their VENDORS when they do such a shoddy job of the important things. I am the brides mother and there wasn't a single pic of me and my daughter! I am so sad about that. I was running around like crazy trying to keep things running smoothly since no one else was. Cake cutting? no one knew, no announcement at all. 1st dance...ditto. Usually the DJ will do that, but nope...nothing. They force you put on a bright band (like in an amusement park) so the pictures have everyone wearing a stupid neon pink wristband (for alcoholic drinks), wow! How petty can you be? My daughter regrets using them and is trying to figure out how to redo the wedding pics, she is going to at least get ones of her and hubby in a photo studio, something worthy of putting on a wall. I asked her if I could join in just to get a pic of her and I... so I have that special moment too. Get it together Chateux, the "big day" should be a good one. read more

I have to say, that I am quite shocked at all of the negative reviews about the Chateaux. I recently had my wedding there and can't even tell you how pleased I am with the venue and staff!! My fiance and I immedately fell in love with the Chateaux on our first visit. We made an appoinment with Marissa to see the venue and she was more than helpful in answering our MANY questions and provided detailed information about the different packages and pricing. The decor, staircase, reception area and outside gazebo were amazing and exactly how I pictured my wedding looking. They also had nice sized (and nice looking) dressing rooms for the bride and groom which I thought lacked at other venues we had looked at. The best part is that they try to meet the needs of all budgets. I believe they have a basic package where you can bring in your own vendors and 2 all inclusive packages that include preferred vendors for catering, cake, photography, DJ, and floral. The inclusive packages also include all glassware, dishware, linens, etc. This was extrememly helpful in my planning because I didn't have to stress about what vendors to use, I just had a list to choose from. Another helpful thing was that the Chateux staff deals with all of the contracts and organization between the vendors you choose. All we had to do was pick who we wanted and they would take it from there. The Chateaux made this aspect of my planning completely stress free! They also let you bring in your own alcohol which was a GREAT money saver for us!! We did add several things that weren't included in our package like uplighting (which I highly recommend), the white drapes, photobooth, etc. It added a lot but wasn't necessary because the venue itself is stunning! We had our wedding ceremony in the back gazebo, which was so beautiful and perfect. I believe this a place that can give you your fairy tale wedding. I definiately had mine! I can't rave more about the helpful staff and service we had during our wedding. All of our guests had so many great things to say about our wedding, all because of how nice the venue was and the service the staff provided. I just had my wedding here and I have zero complaints! Their venue does package deals and they fit mine to my budget. They take care of all the payments to the vendors and even have a preferred list that I chose my vendors from. They never steered me wrong in their opinions and it was amazing that never once did they hounded me for money, which was amazing because I was an out of state bride planning with 4 families!! They never once added any stress to me and Marissa the day of ran around and helped me with anything and everything I needed! I was a guest at a wedding at Chateaux recently and since I don't really know how it works, maybe I am overstepping. Do they supply the food and alcohol vendors? The DJ? The cake stuff? If so, do NOT use this venue. I would hate for our friends, the bride and groom, to know how horrified we were at what went on that evening, but you should know that from start to finish, it was a disaster. From the warm beer to the pasta bar dinner, it was low brow all the way. May have been the DJ's first outing. Horrible. Seriously, look elsewhere. I toured the Chateaux last Saturday and the outside is gorgeous! I was very surprised by the inside. For the expensive prices, the inside is very outdated and dull. It gave my fiancé and I a cold feeling. There were cob webs everywhere and not as spacious as I expected it to be. TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!BEWARE!!!!!!!!! This place is smoke and mirrors, you are promised such an easy and carefree experience, but what you get is deception and irritation. The owners and staff were rude and had horrible customer service. We had our wedding here this last September and it was not at all what we had imagined. Judi who was our wedding planner promised us so many things, like free upgrades with our package and special accommodations for the hotel shuttle. At the final walk through which was a couple weeks before the big day, Judi was charging us for the items that we had thought were part of our promotion. After clarifying this up other members of management the charges were removed. Sadly, the accommodations with the hotel shuttle was never resolved even after speaking with hotel staff. Hotel staff informed us that this is not the first time information regarding the hotel shuttle was misrepresented to couples that have been referred to them by the Chateaux at Fox Meadows. In addition, Judi said that the day of coordinator would set up decorations, however Sara one of the owners told us after the wedding, "that is not something that we do and it is only a curtesy, and that we needed to have someone to handle that on our own". We wish we knew this before so there wasn't so many items missed. Furthermore, after the walk through when we caught some of these mistakes we reviewed all the documentation and contracts with staff again. Day of the wedding, many mistakes were still made that were clearly documented in the final walk through paperwork. When discussing this with Sara after the wedding, she did not apologies for the mistakes, instead she said "we knew you weren't going to be happy. We did the best we could". Vendors at The Chateaux at Fox Meadows were great and the Venue was Beautiful. However, if you don't want to be lied to, stressed out, and belittled for wanting your wedding day as perfect as it can be, then don't and make the same mistake we did. read more

My husband and I just tied the knot at the Chateaux at Fox Meadows in June. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony followed by indoor reception. We loved the Chateaux. It captured the atmosphere perfectly on the day of, confirming our choice to book it as our venue. Although I am originally from Colorado, my husband and I are currently living in California, so I had to do all of my planning from out of state. I did have the opportunity to visit a couple times, and always found the staff to be willing to work with me on the phone, and make time to visit while I was back in town. I do agree with some of the other comments regarding lack of consistency in staffing. It would have been easier to work directly with one person throughout the whole process, rather than whoever answers the phone or is working that day. I had even asked who our day of coordinator would be and was surprised when a different woman was present at our rehearsal. With that being said, everyone I worked with was friendly, knowledgeable, eager to help and our rehearsal and day of ran very smoothly. One of the major pluses I have for the Chateaux is the vendor relations they have forged. We were on the "Elegance on a Budget" package, making it more affordable, but also limiting our vendor selection. We worked with Heart's Desire, Nancy's Best, Petals from Heaven, Armitage Photography and A+ music. They were all WONDERFUL and organized the day without a hitch. When I noticed problems with the table place settings, it was quickly corrected, even though it meant refolding all of the napkins. Everything arrived on time and guests raved about reception. The team of vendors and the staff at the Chateaux gave us the perfect day! I highly recommend the Chateaux. Once I saw the Chateaux I knew there would be no other venue that compared to have a wedding. This is the most elegant, classy wedding venue that I have ever seen and the staff made sure that our day went absolutely perfect. As far as budgeting goes, we got the 12 hour time frame and did all other vendors separately since the packages didn't really seem to make it more affordable. We worked with Marissa and everything ran so smoothly on our special day that we didn't have to worry about a thing. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have my wedding! From the second I saw the venue I fell in love. Marissa was our coordinator and she was extremely helpful. I work in weddings so I had high expectations and she met every single one of them. During the planning process Marissa was super responsive to any little question that I had. I brought in all of my own linens (tablecloths, runners, chair sashes) as well as napkins rings, candles and votives, plus personal items (guest book, card box, etc) and she sent everything up for us exactly how I wanted! We decided to have the ceremony inside because of the beautiful grand staircase and the all windows background. After the ceremony our guests went down to the lower level for cocktail hour while the staff flipped the ceremony room into the reception room. I was a little worried about the room flip but they got everything done quickly and efficiently! We ended up including the DJ and Florist in the package with them and both were great! Sarah made my flowers exactly what I wanted to them to be. I cared a lot about my bouquet and it turned out perfect. They even allow you to bring in your own food! We had our favorite Mexican restaurant drop off food and The Chateaux staff took care of setting it up, serving and clearing everything. On wedding day (early April) everything ran perfect and exactly as planned. I was waiting for something to go wrong because I know that even little things happen, and nothing! Even if something did go wrong my husband and I have no clue because Marissa took care of everything. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. I'm a newly engaged lady that started booking tours for event centers I've been very interested in. I noticed that this event center has an open tour date for 9/17 from 12-3pm. Their open tours typically have vendors that cater the event so I was excited to get the full experience. Myself, my fiancé, my mother and his mother showed up at 1245pm. When we walked in no one was there to greet us until after the groom and my mother went to the restrooms. I hear someone frantically run down the stairs, she asked me if I have an appointment. I tell her no, their site advertised and open tour today. She then waits for my fiancé to come out to introduce herself and ask him for his name and asks me, "did I even get your name?". Unacceptable. She then tells us we can tour the grounds without her, she will go upstairs and get the price list and be right down. When we go to the back we realize the back side is in dire need of care. There are holes in the siding. There are cob webs everywhere. The A/C unit is blaring so loud you wouldn't be able to hear your vows. We then go inside to the brides room. The champagne the bride has paid for that day is already corked (3 hours before she is to arrive), in melted ice. Someone could have went and drugged the bride because there is absolutely no one following us at this time. We go to the grooms room and all of the favors are sitting on the table. Anyone could have taken them. Instead of A/C in that room there is a fan that does nothing for it. Finally I find the coordinators room and she shuts her MAC laptop as soon as she sees me. Hands me a brochure and tells me to call if I have questions. This was the absolute worst customer service I've ever received and I'm shocked the amount of carelessness their coordinators had for that brides wedding day. We loved the Chateaux the minute we saw it, its beautiful and the women we met that day was fantastic. She was very excited about our ideas and able to answer all of our questions! The place is just beautiful and our photographs are gorgeous. All of our family and friends loved the place, especially the fact that we had indoor/outdoor areas. We were disappointed that when we booked they said there would be an outdoor cigar lounge however that did not happen. I do feel that it would be better if we didnt meet 3 different members of staff before our big day and then our event manager was someone different again who we didnt meet until that day. She seemed very pleasent on the day however it was our caterer that really made our afternoon/evening go smoothly and ensured we always had a drink and food etc. It would be easier if the Chateuax excepted credit cards as my dad was paying for our wedding and he lives in England, we werent really comfortable using paypal for such a large amount so our only other option was cash/cheques. This is a lovely place to get married. My husband and I were married at the beginning of January and had a lovely snowy wedding! The ladies who work there were very nice and understanding of any issues that arose. The snow came out of nowhere and they allowed us to push back the ceremony about 45 minutes which was great as we were missing 3/4 of our guests! There are many places for cute wedding photos and overall the building is great for your ceremony and reception. We had a small daytime ceremony and it turned out lovely. ADVICE: Do book all inclusive as it will really help you with your wedding planning and do attend the wonderful bridal shows. My husband and I were able to book all of our vendors at one time just by attending the show, which was very helpful as we only had 3 months to plan our wedding. Do read the fine print, I had a few vendors who tried to deviate off of the plan by charging us extra so I made sure I was well aware of what was included when meeting with the vendors. The owners were really great backing me up on this but keep in mind that the vendors, although they are paid through the Chateaux, may or may no be up to date with what is included in your package so make sure you do your research. Do ask the ladies at the Chateaux for their recommendations! They were a wealth of knowledge and helped us chose our food vendor and Reverend. Remember that they do this for a living and they are here to help YOU have the best wedding imaginable! CONS: It is pricy.....but its beautiful! We only wound up having 40 guests after confirming for 80 due to the blizzard so I am a little biased :( I think if all of my guests had shown up I would have felt a little easier with the price. Plus my husband and I paid for our wedding on our own so it was tough financially. Overall I highly recommend the Chateaux at Fox Meadows! It is a lovely venue with lovely staff and I am very happy with our choice to get married there. If it is within your budget then go for it! I promise you wont regret it! read more

Great service and nice people when their trying to get you to sign the contract but when their service doesn't live up to what they promised they don't return phone calls and they don't even apologize. The Chateaux is amazing! I just got married here and am incredibly impressed with this venue. Not only is it BEAUTIFUL, but the packages that the Chateaux offers makes everything very easy. This place is ridiculous. I have my wedding set here for May and their prices are unbelievably high. We were told that when we signed the contract that we could easily stay within out $25,000 budget.... We're getting close to $40,000 and I haven't added anything extra to any packages. Their alcohol policy is outrageous and overall I will tell every single person I know that's engaged or soon to get married to stay as far away from this place as possible. I am continually disappointed in the Chateaux. I have had multiple friends get married here and everytime I think to myself I should yelp about this place. None of my friends have had positive experiences from cost (absolutely ridiculously priced) to airheaded coordinators. Really think twice before you consider this place. read more
