After I pushed back with photos, inspection forms, and legal references, the charges were dropped Would I recommend this place? Only if you get a good move-in deal on a rear-facing unit (though I've heard the daycare there is noisy -- so YMMV). Be prepared to advocate for yourself, especially when moving out.

When we moved in we realized one of our blinds was broken; maintenance was there next day to replace it no problem at all. The units are virtually silent/soundproof in addition to the outside noise being next to nonexistent (so tranquil). The units seem pretty well built with top-of-line appliances, water stays warm forever and has good pressure, heat works, etc. We absolutely love our view and enormous balcony. There are the beautiful Sammamish Commons nearby and other great parks for people and pets. We can't get enough of being able to walk to Met Market, Chipotle, and other amenities/restaurants. The apartment amenities are second to none such as the Trash Valet service which picks up your trash from your door almost nightly (so convenient and not at all a smell/appearance issue in halls). I do wish there were a package locker system so that I knew my packages were locked safely, but there is still a package room that is surveilled and locked to only those with logged packages, and the system notifies you when you receive a package. We loved our previous apartment and community, but this place has become our new happy home!

One at midnight when everyone was asleep. The extremely loud alarm, loud even with ear plugs in, lasts around 30 minutes. In the wintertime, when its cold and rainy, I've seen people in their pajamas waiting outside the bldg for the firemen to arrive and locate the problem. Never once has there been a fire. I know a few people that have stopped evacuating due to the frequency and just wait it out inside their apartments!! You could be on an important business call, in the shower or asleep in bed and the ALARM will go off!!! Aargh!!! And it's LOUD!!!!! The system is too sensitive!!! They never do anything about it, just say they're sorry for the inconvenience. Soooo stressful!!!! Plus once a year, there is yearly testing where you need to leave the building for several hours while they test every room. I feel so sorry for all the pet owners and their pets having to put up with this!!! I'm editing my comment, as within one second after posting the above, the property mgmnt company replied saying it was a fire sprinkler in a residents apt. The reply must have been done automatically as no one can read a comment and type a long paragraph in response in a second! Plus, the answer given was the same answer for a fire alarm that happened 6 months ago.

You can can easily walk to the movie theater, Safeway, Mod Pizza, and Mud Bay. You can also catch the bus close by, catch an Uber in under 10 minutes every time, or book a Metro Flex car. From the moment I moved in, I have been consistently impressed by the level of service and the welcoming atmosphere that defines this place. I've lived at a lot of other apartments but always felt most of the staff didn't care who you were. We feel like they care at this property. The amenities are top-notch. The pool is one of the nicest apartment pools I've ever been in. They keep the water and the surrounding poolside areas impressively clean. There's even a little sundeck off the back side of the pool. It's been nice during the summer to sit in the sun and just chat with other mom friend neighbors. They also keep this property very clean and they maintain the grounds consistently. So consistently that I know exactly which day of the week the leaf blowers are coming. To be honest, my only complaint about the property is the leafblower noise. Lol. I know they're just trying to keep this place looking beautiful though. I'd much rather have a little noise for one morning per week than live on a dumpy, run down property. My guests are always impressed at how nice the plants, flowers, and trees are here. The apartments are large and have some of the best up-to-date interiors. There are so many units on this property but you never feel "boxed in" at all. What truly sets this community apart though are the people who keep it running, particularly Lili. Lili's attention to detail is evident in every aspect of her work. She goes above and beyond to ensure that people's needs here are met promptly and efficiently. Whenever I've had a question, I've been able to contact her and she never treats me like I'm a burden, no matter how inane my question is. She's prompt at emailing and calling you back too. There's a newer woman working in the office, Kaylee (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly) and she's been very kind and professional every time I've had to drop off paperwork or stop in to ask someone in the office when the rooftop deck is open (because I love it up there but I always forget when it's open...) I really like the office and maintenance staff here. They all give the sense that they care about the people in the community. If you see any of them out on the property, they always say hi. You don't get treated like you're "just another resident". Most other apartment "communities" I've lived in didn't seem very community-like. People wouldn't stay long and you never knew your neighbors. This place is different in that people stay here for years. You don't feel like you're living in a cookie-cutter apartment building. It truly is homey here.

Yes the prices are going up everywhere, and I understand business are trying to get the most dollar of profit possible. The next reason is why I feel the price doesn't match. Safety There has been multiple theft issues here, from packages taken, to cars being broken into, and to top it off, tenants that leave common doors propped open for anyone from the outside to get into. Lastly, the buildings are going to be torn down so don't bother looking at this place because they won't even notify you of this prior to move in. They actually won't tell you much of anything other than make sure your door is locked. The apartments are highly outdated with several issues like plumbing, cracks through the whole entire wall, old appliances and terrible insulation. There has only been one issue with maintenance but Yvette was quick to figure out the issue and resolve it. The maintenance is very responsive and Bill has maintained an incredibly positive attitude, in spite of time periods where he was all alone. He has a couple great guys on his staff now (I apologize for not coming up with the names, but I update when I get them), and they are always quick for a smile and hello, as well as very responsive to work orders. If you are a parent, the school buses pick up right in front of the complex for both elementary (Mead) and middle (Inglewood). Both of these are great schools! My only complaint would be the broken tire swing (my son's complaint actually), but we recently received an email that the playground equipment would be replaced soon. Luckily I haven't had to call the police again here, but who's to say I won't have to in the future. My rent is "base" about $1,350 but after utilities and whatnot it's almost $1,600...YIKES for a low income apartment. I blame part newly shared State Farm down stairs (which by the way has been there for about 6 months and I've only seen people in there JUST LIKE TWICE?) Why is it even there??) To briefly mention, I have considered roommates but it didn't work out in my time frame at the time. So besides Alex being a cool additional person, I would NOT recommend this place unless you ABSOLUTELY cannot afford anywhere by yourself.
