This place is in a nice area. I only brought my car here because my neighbor scratched up my bumper while backing out and her insurance stated if I used one of their auto shops, they offered lifetime warranty. Botta's was one of the repair shops on their list. Plus, this place was convenient for me. I did take my car to another repair shop to get an estimate before I spoke with the insurance agent. The other place was about $200 less. However, this place offered the lifetime warranty. Reminder, that may be part of the insurance benefit. They were really nice. Only complaint, I guess you can say, would be lack of communication. I called 2-3x and left voicemails each time. I called to check on the status of my car. Luckily, I was in no rush to get it back but I just wanted to know when I should expect my car to be done. When I picked up my car, they did a great job. They even washed my car and the inner door part of the car. With the brand new bumper, I felt like I had a brand new car. For some reason, I felt like my car drove better even though it was just the bumper that was fixed. Overall, they were great. If you're shopping around for prices, they may not be the cheapest but they did do a great job and the guy I was dealing with was really rice. They earned my trust in doing a great job. Bota's Auto Body is hands down the most unprofessional and incompetent shop I've ever dealt with. A repair that should have taken less than a month dragged on for two full months, with nothing but excuses and rude behavior from their staff. When I brought up taking my car elsewhere, instead of acting like professionals, they deliberately cut the power box so my car wouldn't even start. Botta's was great - they work with USAA, and the manager (Mike) talked me through the entire process, as well as assuring me that he could find parts quickly (which he did). Rude and antagonistic employee blocked our car from leaving our legal metered street parking space on Sacramento Street with a vehicle they were servicing. He parked the vehicle in their driveway so close to our bumper that we could not leave then refused to move the car until we said we were calling the police. Long story short, I parked my van in 8th ave parking lot in San Francisco , some one break my window and took my backpack. I just pick up my grandma from the airport (welcome to the America). My grandma was freak out about the window break, so I contacted this body shop( search from the yelp) , I ask for someone can help me clean up the break glasses mess so that way I can take my grandma home. So when I get there I saw all the team members were busy( I have feeling it will be a long day), Here is the sweet part: Cary( see attached photo) he walked towards me with a nice warm greeting, help me clean my car right away with NO CHARGE! I wish I could give Botta's ten stars because they are truly deserving. The work itself is top notch. I got into a fender bender that required quite a bit of body work on my car. When I got my car back, I was SHOCKED at how great the repair was - excellent work. Now, a lot of places can do good body work but I have never experienced customer service on par with Botta's. Mike is a consummate professional from the second he picks up the phone on your first interaction with him, to the minute he hands you your keys after all the work is completed. Needed to get quotes for this one guy for damages to car, so came here to see what repairs costed. This is an awkward body shop. Not awkward in a bad way, just a body shop in an area one would not expect so is harder to find. The shop itself is clean and as one can see in the pictures, fixes a lot of nice cars. It was nice how they noticed a few damages to my car that Parkside Paint and Body Shop completely failed to see. Their prices on my quote were a little higher, but that is often the case to over estimate than under, just to pay it later. read more

Like too many Prius owners, I have a Prius that was vandalized. Yes, the catalytic converter was stolen. Good guess! They sawed right through the anti-theft shield and also slice the exhaust pipe. They go above and beyond. I never leave reviews on yelp but Cynthia and Mike were so accommodating. My car had gotten minor scratches on my bumper and hood while parked on the street. They refinished the whole hood and bumper, including all the imperfections of twelve year old car paint. A few days after the work was done, street parked again, someone had set something on my hood putting new scratches on the car. I went back to see if they had any advice on how to decrease the scratches. Without hesitation they took it in again, polished the hood, removing the scratches, and waxed it thereafter.
