Our reliable but old 2003 Toyota Camry needed some paint work. Got quotes from three shops but Selecta and Anthony stood out immediately. Anthony welcomed and described the services Selecta provides. He presented the company, its services and products used in a confident and professional manner which leaves you thinking these guys have their act together. Just walking into their shop you can see the attention to detail given the place is spotless, clean and very organized. Compared to other highly rated shops which were dark, dirty and somewhat disorganized. That alone made me wonder how good their work may be. One other factor which lead us to work with Selecta was that Anthony provided several detailed quotes as we discussed. Even though we both knew some of the quotes were just for shopping and or comparison shopping. Quotes were detailed and complete with all labor and materials listed including sales tax! Another shop barely spent the time to type in my name and hand wrote prices for options with "ballpark" numbers. Selecta schedules you before taking in the car so your drop off is quick and respectful of your time. Same goes for pickup. They schedule so you are not waiting for someone else to finish their transaction. Take my word for it. Their price was very fair and they also washed and polished the entire car. It looks so good, will be keeping this for a while. Lifetime warranty for as long as we own the car as well. Thank you Selecta, Anthony and team!!! read more

I originally left Selecta a glowing review and really thought I'd found my go-to body shop. Sadly, things have changed. I came back after being rear-ended for an insurance estimate and also asked for an out-of-pocket quote for a small cosmetic dent nearby. The appraisal was super quick and they barely listened when I pointed out alignment issues. I brought it up with the manager but didn't feel heard there either. Then the estimate took forever. They quoted the tiny dent at more than the entire rear-end repair, even with some overlap in the work. I called several other body shops and ALL quoted significantly less. I ended up getting it done with paintless dent repair for a few hundred dollars. The first time I came here, everyone was friendly, personable and thorough. This time it felt like they were more interested in the insurance payout than the actual customer. I decided to go somewhere else. read more

I had an outstanding experience with Selecta Auto Body! From the moment I dropped off my Honda, Anthony welcomed me with professionalism, kindness, and a genuine willingness to help. Throughout the repair process, Louie kept me informed every step of the way, answered all of my questions, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. When it came time to pick up my car, Jackie and Anthony went above and beyond by staying until the end of the day to ensure I could pick up my vehicle and complete the payment and paperwork without any issues. Their exceptional customer service and dedication made the entire process seamless. I truly appreciate the care and attention the whole team provided. The quality of the repairs was excellent. My car looks as good as new. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship really show. The entire team clearly takes pride in their work and provides exceptional customer service. I highly recommend Selecta Auto Body to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and high-quality auto body repairs. Thank you Anthony, Louie, Jackie and all the techs that worked on my vehicle! It's hard to go into an auto body repair shop these days without feeling that you're lowering your pants and bending over a barrel. Selecta stands out for its honest estimates, the superb quality of its work, and its outstanding speed and service. I didn't think it was possible to find businesses like this anywhere in the Bay area. read more

After an accident, I chose Selecta because they are a Farmers Insurance preferred shop and had great reviews. Unfortunately, my experience started off incredibly frustrating. My initial estimator, Patty, was unpersonable, dismissive, and refused to approve original Subaru replacement parts. Worse, she tried to claim my car's electrical issues were unrelated to the accident. I literally had to spend hours researching and sending her links and videos just to explain how a bumper impact affects the electrical system, and why OEM parts are absolutely critical to maintain the functionality of those safety sensors. Thankfully, the manager, Anthony, stepped in and completely salvaged the experience. He took my feedback about the initial friction gracefully, took over my repair entirely, and delivered 10/10 customer service. He ensured my car got the original Subaru parts it needed and kept me updated constantly. My car looks and runs perfectly now. The final work is excellent, but if you bring your car here, do yourself a favor and ask to work directly with Anthony from day one. read more

My car was dinged while parked a few days ago. I stopped by Selecta and had them take a look. They determined it was just paint transfer and no serious damage. They removed the paint with rubbing compound and refused any payment. You can't beat free! Very happy to have stoppped by and I'd be happy to do business with them in the future. read more

I'm very satisfied with my experience at Selecta. 10 years ago, I got accidentally hit the antenna on my roof, causing it to become loose.... Selecta did a great job getting it flush again, making sure to get the paint matched up with my car. Recently I went back because the paint around the antenna became discolored and they have a lifetime warranty for paint-related work (as long as it's under the same owner). Anthony explained to me that this was very unusual, and the paint company also came to inspect the situation because it could've been a bad batch of primer. I appreciated the regular updates on the status of my car while it was worked on. It did take a bit longer than usual, but they explained it was because they need to sand it down to its bare metal. When I picked up my car, everything brand spanking new again, and they even washed my car and cleaned the interior. The customer service is excellent and attentive, one of the best experiences I've had at an auto body shop! Thank you Selecta! read more

Selecta Auto Body was PURELY PHENOMENAL! My Acura TSX suffered a hit-and-run, and I went in with a damaged front left fender, a popped out bumper, and a driver-side door that couldn't open all they way from the collision. I was just expecting for my car to return to the state it was before the collision, but IT CAME OUT BETTER!! When I got my car back, my Car LOOKED BRAND NEW!! EVERY BIT that the Selecta Auto Team touched/worked on turned to Gold (well, in my case, Silver, cuz that's my car color)! The fender was replaced, front door back normal (with blemishes eliminated), my bumper put back together, all with a Phenomenal PERFECT Paint Job! (My car looked like it just came off the lot!) But NOT ONLY THAT, my car was washed, rims cleaned, headlamp covers buffed, interior detailed and vacuumed. IT WAS PURELY A VIP EXPERIENCE FOR MY CAR!! I was Soooooooo Happy that I got a BRAND NEW Car back! I could go even as far and say "The accident was a BLESSING in Disguise!" Selecta Auto Body now got a Customer For Life!! I love these guys and I love their work and spirit! Please keep up the great work!!! 5 Stars! and 12 out of 10 scale! BEYOND Phenomenal! THANK YOU!!!!! read more

This is the 2nd time I've used Selectra for body work. 1st was for a hit and run damage to my 14 year old Volvo. It looked like a new car when I picked it up. They are very professional, responsive, friendly and communicative. I recently (last week) brought my 2025 Lexus in for damage to the door, that ended up needing replacement. They said it could take 7 days. I took it in on Monday and got it on Friday. I was frequently informed about the status by Louie and Anthony which was greatly appreciated. The car looked brand new both clean (inside and out). They underpromise and overdeliver. I would never go any place else and highly recommend to others who want quality work and service. read more

I can't say enough about Selecta and how awesome they are! I had a smashed rearview, with the housing dented and compromised. I looked online and was ready for sticker shock. But not at Selecta! They did it for about 1/3 or what I had been quoted elsewhere. But that is not the best part -- the best part is that they were prompt, professional and super nice! They ordered the parts and had me fixed up in about 20 minutes when I brought it back in. read more

They made it really easy for me to get an estimate for a Mazda CX-30 bumper replacement and they were up front with pricing and the timeline. They kept me updated via text while my car was in the shop which I really appreciated. Car looked new when I picked it up though it was filthy when I dropped it off. Actual cost came in lower than the estimate. Great service, good price, quality work. read more

Good experience. Friendly staff, perfect work, quick turnaround, good communication. Recommend.

My car window of my MINI had to be replaced and there was slight body damage that to be repaired and Selecta Auto Body took care of the job! Select Selecta +'s: + Timeliness. I set an appointment to show my car and the team (and especially Gene) was available at the designated time and day with no wait. + Timeliness again. The car was delivered one day early after waiting on parts. It was a pleasant surprise and totally glad that they did not overpromise! + Estimate on target! The bill did not go over the estimate and they were true to their word. Fyi if it does go over after further inspection of your car damage, they are very upfront of any potential costs. In my case, the team did not find additional damage after taking my car apart in their shop. + Clean space. Sure auto shops can get greasy but there's also something said about a clean garage or workspace. I get the feeling the team here is orderly and has great attention to detail. Bottom line I will return if I have should have another mishap! It's hard to find a place you can trust and I highly recommend them! read more

Amazing body shop all the way from the work they do to their customer service. I would give them ten stars if I could! I highly recommend this shop and an extra shout out to Gene, Anthony and Jackie. Thank you all! read more

My parked car got bumped while parked on the street. The person who did it is a saint and left their information (restoring my faith in SF), and we decided to sort it ourselves rather than go through insurance. Out of the ~5 auto body places I got an estimate from, Selecta was the lowest. On top of that, their customer service was the friendliest (clear communication around appointments, what to expect if I leave my car with them, breakdown of the cost, no rush or attempt to upsell). It was an easy decision, and the final work gave me no reason to regret it. As it turns out, my car is old enough that replacement bumpers are no longer produced, but they took it in stride and instead managed to fix the existing damaged bumper to the point where it looks brand new. And as a result, the final bill was lower than the estimate and only took a half day longer. I sure hope I never need auto body services again, but if I do, Selecta will definitely be the place I go. read more

I had such an awesome experience with Selecta. My car was hit in a parking lot, and insurance gave me a list of body shop options to choose from--good thing I came here! From the moment I stopped in for a quote, communication was great. They called me almost every day to update me on progress, and when I might be able to pick my car up. I usually am pretty anxious about my car, but working with everyone at Selecta made things so much smoother. Costs were upfront and transparent, with everything that needed work handed over to me on a bill to review from the beginning. I also appreciated them letting me know that there was a possibility there might be more work needed, and that they would call me beforehand just in case. My rental car situation was also extremely easy. After booking my car, Selecta worked with Enterprise to pick me up, drop me off, and drop the car off at the end (I didn't have to make 2 stops). I would highly recommend working with Selecta--they did a great job with my car and took care of me every step of the way. read more

I was in an accident in May 2023, Selecta Auto Body was the recommended shop through insurance. I am SO GLAD I decided to go with that recommendation. My car looks brand new! Customer service matters and this business has it! Professional, fair, fast and good people here. Glad to have worked with them and you will be too. I needed a tail light for my car after a neighbor's car door swung open when he pulled away from a parking spot that was behind my car. He forgot to close his passenger car door and it smashed my tail light. He was honest enough to leave a note! Good karma! I had to work through his insurance--State Farm. I wish I could rate Selecta an 11. I had no previous experience with Selecta, so when I needed an auto body shop, I relied on Yelp (knowing some of their reviews could be bogus). Fortunately, Selecta lived up to and exceeded its high marks on Yelp. My car is black, the most difficult color to get right, as it shows every imperfection, but it turned out perfect: no waves, no swirls. The car now looks bone stock. Plus, a few minor items were taken care of gratis. I should also mention that without exception the staff were affable, polite and respectful - shout outs to Patty, Jackie and J.R. Had to replace my window and get my seat repaired. I felt taken care of every step of the way. I highly recommend!

What in the world is in the water at this place. I brought in my crappy 2007 Honda fit that needed the bumper reattached and the splash guard jimmied back up so it wasn't dragging on the ground. I dropped it off without asking what it would cost, or even leaving a phone number. I went to get coffee and was like 'oh shit.... wait this could be expensive'. When I came back, these amazing friendly sweet guys had fixed it for FREE. Free! What??? Who does work for free?? We're out here living in late stage capitalism and these guys are taking precious time out of their day to fix my broken ass piece of crap car for free???? I really wanted to pay, he said I could tip the service tech who did it, but I didn't have cash - so I sent them a couple pizzas. In addition, the manager, owner, I didn't get his name, was real with me about my POS car & what it would cost to get it all shiny and new (more than the car is worth which we both agreed is a dumb idea) which is so appreciated. My dad is a mechanic and runs a shop in Boston, so I'm always scared I'm gonna get ripped off and he's gonna disown me. If you have a car that's worth fixing, and worth doing the right way, take it here. If you have a beat up POS and just need it rigged to keep driving, take it here. read more

I can't believe such an awesome body shop lives just a few blocks from me! It immediately looks appealing with a cool retro sign plus custom Sirron Norris artwork out front. But more importantly, they were 100% professional every step of the way from: + Intake and estimate + Updates and clear statements + High quality work + Really cleaning the rest of the car up, inside and out + Being flexible with me with regards to pickup. I cannot think of a single thing they could possibly do better! And they work directly with State Farm insurance, so choosing them through the State Farm app was a breeze. read more

Fast and efficient. Employees were very courteous and they kept me updated which I appreciated.

Selecta is probably the best case scenario experience of ANY body shop. Not only were they friendly, they're a B Corp (highest standard for any business), and even let you text them through their text update service. My car came out looking brand new after I needed to get it fixed due to an accident. State Farm paid for everything due to their insured being liable and Selecta made it even better by giving me upfront answers and support. I don't think i'll ever bother looking around for a different body shop. The cherry on top are the amazing women who run their front office. Thank you so much! read more

This place is an awesome certified Subaru collision center. My rear bumper was barely hanging on when I showed up, and I was nervous about the price / amount of time it was going to take to get a quote, let alone get it fixed, based on discouraging conversations I had with other body shops. But the quote took all of 20 minutes, and the price (to fix both the bumper and a dent I had in the driver side door) was far under what I was anticipating. Gene also popped my bumper back in for free after providing the quote so it wouldn't fall off while he was waiting for the replacement part to come in. The parts took only one business day to get to the shop, and the repair took all of 2 days. They also cleaned my car. Incredible!! read more

Went in for estimate per State Farm request, waited outside standing for 20minutes . Finally they come and estimate the car , but never upload the estimate to state farm !
