It hasn't. I give up. While the store was neat and well-stocked, the prices just always seem ridiculous. Even the clearance item markdowns weren't all that impressive. It really bothered me the number of soles that it looked like someone had been dancing around the store while wearing the shoes. On another note: The service was commendable and the cashier was helpful. Although I found what I was looking for, I doubt I'll return. __ I eat. @f.hux I thrift. @DCthriftish

Even when I say they can't get anything they don't mind just coming to browse for when they do need new equipment and apparel. I've lived in Southern Maryland long enough to know that getting my…read morehands on quality tennis gear meant a drive up to Rockville or Baltimore or doing the online dance between Tennis Warehouse or Tennis Express . But no more! The Dick's Sporting Goods in Waldorf has officially stepped up their game, especially in the shoe department. They're now carrying some serious footwear for athletes... shoes like Hoka, Lotto, Prince, and more! Whether you're out on the tennis court or playing pickleball, you no longer have to leave SOMD to find the right kicks. I'm talking real performance shoes, not just your typical gym shoes. If you're looking for shoes that actually support your game and you live in SOMD, this is the spot. Big shoutout to Tavion (or was it Trayvon? My sincerest apologies if I got it wrong!) for being so knowledgeable and taking the time to walk me through their massive selection. He was super helpful and really seemed to know his stuff. I'm one of the many tennis players that dwell in SOMD, and we needed a better local provider. And while their tennis equipment selection may not rival that of a dedicated pro shop, it's more than enough for beginners and intermediate players. Plenty of rackets, balls, and accessories to get your game going without breaking the bank. All in all, I'm seriously impressed with what Dick's Sporting Goods in Waldorf has done here. Great shoes, helpful staff, and solid options for casual athletes. If you're in the area and need to gear up, save yourself the trip, and just head to Waldorf and thank me later. My rating of 4 stars is to allow room for a more dedicated tennis/pickleball department, similar to that of their gold department. Recommendation level: Absolutely check them out. You will be pleasantly surprised! #ShoesOnFire #TennisReady

They didn't select majority of the things, stating they were winding down on summer clothes, fine - BUT there was a red velvet dress in there, a fall skirt, a wool skirt, some jeans... I only offered things in great condition. Of the 3 things they did select, including a perfectly in tact Ralph Lauren dress, some lovely boutique lilac palazzo pants that were never worn, those two items alone cost more than $200. I don't think you can really complain though because Target is truly an experience. I can say I swish this location offered more variety like other locations in the Virginia area that seem to offer more high end products. You can always find something you "need" at Target.
