I left a review approximately 3 to 4 years ago from this current date and I left a one-star not realizing it when it should absolutely have been a five-star. I miss this skate shop so much. If it wasn't for Rich Pugh and him sponsoring me I don't know that I ever would have gotten as good as skateboarding as I did. He is supplied me with all my free skateboarding equipment he got me in contact with all the best skateboarders in our area. Then we created our own amateur skate team and if you don't know what that is it probably sounds like a bunch of beginners that don't know what they are doing however the true definition of an amateur skate team or an AM team is literally a skate team that is one level under a professional team. However Rich Pugh eventually had some other important things going on in his life that he had to take care of so he sold the shop to some guy named Chris who eventually ran that skateboard shop into the f****** ground. All the sponsored skateboarders left the shop that's when the shop started going into the ground no one wanted to go there because it wasn't that family-friendly skate shop that you could go there and just hang out watch skate videos and learn from the best skateboarders in our area anymore he turned it into strictly a business shop and Chris wasn't a skateboarder he didn't understand the skateboarding scene he didn't even know what skateboarders like. So with that said I am just going to finish off this review with how much I miss rich I miss Central board shop and I miss the early 2000s. And thank you Rich for helping in the design of Charles county skatepark if it wasn't for you getting true professionals involved and true professional skateboarders involved the skate park would not be built as good of quality as it is in the skate park would not have the flow that it had at the time and to be honest it's been so long since I've skated because of an accident that I had I don't even know if that skate park even exist or is open anymore. Charles county as a whole is just one big sad story. read more
