I…read morestopped by the Harford Road location to grab them and was told they were only available at this location. So, a few days later, my kids and I headed there. When I entered this location, the owner, Gary, was working. He was talking to a prospective vendor so we perused the shop while he worked with him. My kids were enamored with the boards and, feeling generous, I figured I'd get one for them. After assisting the vendor, Gary turned his attention to us. I told him what shoes I wanted and the size and he quickly handled that. Then I started asking about the boards. He asked some questions and then was able to make recommendations that allowed me to eliminate a number of boards on the walls. Then I had my kids select one. After getting the board, Gary showed us the skate ramp in back. He gave me a card and told me that if the kids ever wanted to do lessons he could work with them. Such a great experience! Next time I need shoes or skate equipment, Vu will be the first place I go.

He gave us some really cool stickers and the prices are pretty good ( we paid 150 each for 2 skateboards ) the guy was funny and apparently he likes to watch Disney moves and he is really chill with people and kids. So I definitely recommend shrimp town skate shop.

They have a good collection of skateboards, surfboards, and apparel. Pricing is quite competitive. A lot of times I go for nostalgia. Yes it's now in courthouse plaza, so it does still take time acclimating. Extremely polite and fun staff here. No snobbery at all, which can be an issue at other places. I'm relieved they landed here. At this point of life I'm less mobile, but my sons got gear from here. When he goes here I smile and think of "back in the day"

He needed a set of new bearings as one of his wheels was grinding. 3 Way Street was recommended, so we headed over there. The place is very close ti the intersection of Eagle & Darby roads, across from Grace Chapel. With its bright green sign, it's very easy to find. We parked in a metered lot - 25 cents for 30 minutes - and walked the 1/4 block to the shop. Inside it's filled with a nice selection of everything a skateboarder needs from boards to wheels. Super nice and friendly guy had the bearings, and also lubricated his existing set so they rolled freely again. They had gotten wet and one had rusted. We bought an extra set of bearings for future use. Great little store, we'll be back.
