They accept both cash (euro) and card, and I was able to just tap to pay for the wash and detergent, which made it super convenient. The laundry soap has a horrible scent. I am not sure how I will get it out of my clothes. It is awful.

The advertised price for the service wash is £17.50 per bag up to 4kg. I gave them a bag that was definitely under 4kg but was charged £24.50. I thought perhaps they had updated their prices so paid. But when I checked online it was still £17.50. On collection I asked about the price and the man said he used a medium not small machine for my wash and that it was based on him eyeballing the size of the load and not by weight. I felt this was not very honest and if this was the case I would have been better off using another laundry service that offered a pick up and drop off for £25 for a heavier load of up to 6kg (their minimum charge for this delivery service is £30). Included in the wash was a brand new black shirt and when I got home and lined it up against my other black shirts, the one that they washed was a shade lighter than even my own older ones. So do note that their commercial detergent might be a lot harsher. Also when I went they only took cash. Not recommended. read more

Nice laundromat with friendly and helpful staff. They provided laundry detergent for the wash, too. The hours suggest they are open until 8pm, but I was told they closed at 6pm when I arrived at 5:45pm. They still let me wash and dry my laundry and stayed open late to accommodate me. read more

We are completely pleased with the Boswell Laundrette. We've used them twice while traveling and staying near Holborn. They do wash and fold same-day with no problem, high quality, reliably, and about a third of the hotel price. There's a nice clean s of serve laundromat there for further savings. I was traveling throughout Europe for about a month in June 2019. While in London, I took my laundry to Boswell Laundrette for wash and fold service. I specifically asked that they wash the colors/jeans separately in cold water. Apparently, they did not because my white socks were light blue. I did not notice until I had already left London for Paris. In the last couple days in London, I used up the remaining clean clothes I had before opening the bags of laundry from Boswell. They must have known my white socks were light blue, but they did not say a word when I picked up my clothing. read more
