We are staying near Earl's Court and Gloucester Road stations and were looking for a place to do about a week's worth of laundry for two people. Many of the local places had few or mixed reviews and we were hoping to not have to go very far out of the way. It took 20 minutes and £10 for a large washer to wash all of our clothes and £5 for 40 minutes in the dryer (recommended by the helpful staff). I felt this was a fair price as many other reviews locally listed excessive pricing as a concern. I felt at ease; it wasn't too busy on a summer Friday afternoon and we popped down the street to have a coffee while we waited. Baskets available for convenience inside. I washed some clothes a couple days ago here and have only just now found that multiple shirts have stains on them from their washers. Black grease stains. These shirts went into the washer with zero stains and now two of them are ruined. I'm sure most people don't have this problem but I would be careful using their machines. Luckily the shirts aren't white but that still doesn't take away from the fact that the stains are very much obvious. They will not be receiving my business again. read more

Ok...so all these Yelp! reviews are legit! I couldn't believe it either. Needed laundry done right before we left London for another week in Paris. The owner is REALLY as good as everybody says. Super helpful! The cost for my self service load was 15-17 pounds total. Washing machines are a little small so one big load is actually two small or medium loads. The dryers are huge and will take both medium sized loads for only one dryer cycle. Lots of different food and drink choices on the same block of a charming London road...typical fish n chips pub, fancy coffee house, outdoor Italian place, Indian, Thai, etc. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. So if you want to save a bunch of money, OR--more importantly--if you want to get away from your family after a week of playing tourist...this is definitely your place. The gentleman running this shop were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They made it easy for us. We went across the street for fish and chips while our clothes were in the wash. Needed to do laundry during a brief stop in London as part of a longer trip. Found this convenient location. Staff was helpful. Washers are £6 per load. Large dryers are £1 for 10 minutes. 30 minutes took care of two wash loads together. They offer full service too. I was done in just over 1 hour. We were in London for an extended stay and wanted to do some laundry about halfway through. Based on reviews here and the laundrette's proximity, we used this Launderette Center and were very pleased. The owner was extremely helpful, kind and personable. I would definitely recommend using this laundry center. Just a note that you do need to have cash as the business does not accept cards. We had a great experience. read more

Staff very nice. It's expensive but I'm from the States. £6/load self- service in size washer that would be max $3.50 or £2.70. I asked about laundered shirts and that's £2.50 or $3.30 so that is good. Wonder why laundry so expensive? If they do lau dry it's £15/load so I still better that I did it myself vs here or the hotel. read more

Found this nice and clean laundrette while searching for a place near our hotel. Customer service was excellent and the washers and driers did the job . We sat and waited while getting our clothes cleaned and the attendant was nice to talk with. Everyone that came by to drop off or pick up looked like regulars and pleased by the service . Super convenient and the shop owner was very helpful and nice. I like to pack light so I always need to do laundry while traveling and this place was one of the best. Clean shop & quality machines. Perfect place for a traveller to wash clothes - without paying an arm and a leg at a hotel. Big industrial washers and dryers with a very helpful staff to get you going. Bring cash, they have change. A bit pricey compared to the U.S. where it's just a couple bucks a load, but wayyy less than paying my hotel to do it. And unlike most U.S laundromats, someone is there to help. I did one very large load in their big washer (7 pounds, plus 1 more for them to provide some detergent), and dried it thoroughly for 40 minutes (at 1 pound per 10 minutes). Outta there in just over an hour for a total of 12 quid. Worth every bit of it for the convenience, location, and value for money. There are pubs and Indian restaurants right on the block, Kensington Gardens is just a short walk up the road, or you can just wait there and read. The location is just a short walk from the Gloucester Rd. tube stop. Highly recommended! read more

I must post a review on this launderette. I was in London in June for 8 days, we were going on to Scotland and needed to do laundry. I checked here on yelp for a place to go, there were a lot of great reviews on this launderette, I hoped that the reviews were good and went on to do my laundry. The guy running this launderette is awesome. He was all business but very kind. I realized that I didn't have enough money and no laundry detergent, I figured I could purchase some when I got there. He accepted the money I had and said I could go and get rest after I put my clothes in the machines. I told him I would pay for laundry detergent also because I didn't bring any. He said "no worries, no worries ". He said it would take 30 minutes to wash. I went and got more pounds to pay him, put my clothes in the dryer for 30 minutes and was done. I paid a total of £24 to wash and dry 2 loads of clothes and pay for detergent. This was way more cost effective than what the hotel would have charged and cheaper than bringing along additional luggage that had to be checked and then lugged around from place to place. read more

This Launderette is a 5min walk from the Gloucester Road station and was a great life saver as we were staying in Mayfair and desperately needed our clothes washed. Helpful staff whom were happy to walk you through how to use machines. read more

It was our first time using this self service facility and the guy helped us out with everything. 6 pounds for 30-min wash, 3 pounds for 30-min dry and 1 pound for soap. There are nearby cafes for you to wait but we went for a walk at the Kensington Park instead. Place and machines are clean and hardly anybody around read more

Very handy do washing if you are staying at any of the local hotels. A big machine wash is £6 and I suggest you use the Electrolux Wascator machines towards back of laundry and their spin cycle gets your clothes extra dry. 8-8 are opening hours. They can provide change and washing powder. read more
