Huge pizzas- fresh & ready to go at the time they said it would be. The staff is always friendly and BUSY! Price matched the quality- but I do wish double pepperoni actually had double the amount! Fast easy and also delicious! Great service and your pizza is ready no time. Located in the Aikahi shopping center. You can run in pick your slice and then heat it up for you and they're oven and then no time flat. You have a delicious lunch or dinner. My favorite pizza there is a big red along with the Carbonero pizza. The pizza are as the name implies true Boston North End pizza, thin crust with crispy edges. SOLID This is a small neighborhood joint which I love coming to. And it never disappoints! One "slice", literally a quarter of a huge pie, is bigger than any slice I've ever seen to this day. I love that they retoast your thin crust pizza if you choose a premade on in the glass case and cut it into smaller slices for you without asking. Every type I've tried has hit the spot but the garlic and spinach is my unexpected favorite. This pizza restaurant is located in a small strip mall. There is lots of free parking right outside. Different kinds of pizza are displayed in a clear case with labels so you know what they are. Orders can be placed by the slice, which they well re toast for you, or whole. There is an option to add a pulled pork topping for an additional fee. The slices are huge, a quarter of a pizza. They will cut it in half for you. I got the meat lovers and my husband got the rambo with the pulled pork topping. There are a handful of tables along side the wall. Each table has a set of napkins and condiments like crushed red pepper, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, etc. Pizza was delicious and the crust was crispy. The kitchen is an open area in the middle of the shop. It's cool to watch them knead the dough, add the toppings, and slide it in the oven. Staff is friendly. The gal at the counter asked me what my current favorite song was then played it over the sound system. The bathroom requires a code that the staff will give you if you just ask. Been going here for several years but it seems things have recently changed? Perhaps a new operator? We usually get slices, which are about 1/ 4 of a large pie. Seems it's much more bready with thicker more risen crust. We have also noted that some items like the Hot Jimmy have different toppings and portions now? We called to order a pizza on a Friday night at 7:34 PM, only to be told they stop taking orders at 7:30--even though they don't close until 8:00 PM. We live just five minutes away and were surprised they wouldn't make an exception, especially for a simple order placed just a few minutes past their cutoff. This popular pizza pavilion serves up delicious massive slices (1/4 of a pie = to 2 regular slices) to walk in customers. I walked in around dinner time and selected the all meat slice add mushrooms & EXTRA CHEESE PLEASE! After a quick warm up in the oven, my slice was served up with a friendly shout out! You can tell the crew here knows how work in unison as the flo of call in orders to go kept pace with the many walk ins at the beginning of the 5 pm dinner time rush. The interior has a that east coast decor with a heavy influence of Patriots memorabilia all over the walls. Sports is the theme on the small flat screen tv's and there are several small tables for those customers dining in. Great slice of pie with that hand tossed regular crust that has the right crusty bottom with a slight soft chew. Bonus! As "Patriots" they offer a Military discount with ID. When you first walk in you're greeted with a friendly hello, the inside is kind of small, decorated with lots of sports memorabilia but nothing out of the ordinary. Was craving pizza and decided to try out Boston's. My first impression was that it was pretty pricy. I had to look up at the board for prices as it was not labeled on the display case. I ordered thinking the pizza was only one slice, but it comes with two slices. After ordering, you pay and then they re-heat it and then put it it in a bag between two paper plates for you. The calzone had bacon and cheese and pesto inside. I was excited to try it, but it was just okay to me. I didn't see much pesto inside and the bacon had a lot of chunks of just fat that couldn't be chewed and I wasn't able to eat. Not much bacon, pesto, and cheese inside either - mostly bread. For $8 I was expecting more inside. 3/5. The pizza was good! I forget which one I got specifically, but for ~$8 for the two slices, it's a pretty good deal. I'll definitely order pizza instead of the calzone the next time. This pizza was good, but I was a bit disappointed with the crust. This crust didn't rise very much (other pizzas I saw on display had crust that rose a lot on the edges, so I probably just got one side that didn't rise much). Been eating here since 2012. The pizza is just ok in my opinion. The reason? Sauce. Their sauce philosophy is "more is more". I know that I may very will be in the minority here- I know plenty of folks that really like saucy pies. This would not be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that their sauce borders on tomato paste level richness. I prefer a lighter sauce that is simple. Think crushed San Marzano with only salt. Anyway. I saw an array of different awesome pies.... Now i watch Dave Portnoy on the regular (Pizza Guy) and i always wanted to try them nice slices from the east coast but we in hawaii so yeah .... I am from the East coast between Boston and NYC, I am use to their pizza. First of all the pizza was quite large and tasted pretty good. I am use to a darker crust, but their crust was good . The topping were not as full as I am use to, but what was there was good. Plenty of off street parking and the staff was friendly. I did not take any pictures of the pies, because there were a lot posted already. I did use coupon out of the paper and saved $10. There are also plenty of slices to choose from from the case. They make the dough fresh and the ingredients are good quality. This north end location is located in the aikahi shopping center. While they do get busy around lunch, the line moves quickly. On my most recent visit to this Boston's I was picking up lunch for me and my coworkers. I called in my order and drove over to pick up. It was easy and convenient and the pizza was delicious. I like that the crust is a little crispy. I like the big red which is spinach, garlic and tomato. They use the white sauce instead of the red. Along with the Big Red, there are also some other specialty combinations. A whole pizza will run you about $30. The slices are so big though! I can usually only eat one. You can also ask them to cut the pizza into smaller pieces. This Boston's has a few tables inside where you can sit and eat. I think there also may be tables outside. It's a little hot inside, but they're literally making the pizzas right there. The service is fast and friendly. There are plenty of parking spots. Boston's used to be the best in Kailua but not any more. Coming out of the pandemic the pizza was excellent but we were disappointed twice this summer. Early July with the weekend crew we were skunked on a pepperoni pizza. Almost no sauce and very few slices of pepperoni with a thin layer of mozzarella. A quick trip to Safeway for additional ingredients fixed the issue. Today we experienced pretty much the same thing; thin on the sauce and cheese. Pretty solid pizza place, typically my goto. Only reason for the -1 star is that I went recently and was told my pie would be ready in 5min. I then waited almost 40min whileoither customers ordered and were served, basically seemed like they forgot about me. That being said, I won't hold that against them as it was on a friday night so they were busy, just be sure you order ahead or leave earlier than you need to. It's in a shopping mall that's less aesthetically pleasing (particularly for tourists) than Bob's pizzeria down the street across from the beach but both are delicious. I come here 2-3x a week when in Kailua because they make my garlic pizza slices so perfectly. It's some of the best pizza I've had in the world (even compared to Italy, mainland US). That's saying a lot. My favorite memory here is sitting at an outside table when it suddenly started raining and blissfully eating our warm pizza under the warm drizzle, not being phased at all, next to other lovebirds (an older couple) doing the same.
