Carbonara Pizza

Fast easy and also delicious! Great service and your pizza is ready no time. Located in the Aikahi shopping center. You can run in pick your slice and then heat it up for you and they're oven and then no time flat. You have a delicious lunch or dinner. My favorite pizza there is a big red along with the Carbonero pizza. The pizza are as the name implies true Boston North End pizza, thin crust with crispy edges. My mouth is watering while writing this review. Plenty of parking. If you craving a great pizza and are on the Windward side of the island, this place is definitely worth a try.

@fortunefoodfinds: "Take it SLICE n' CHEESY! Pizza by the slice: carbonara n' pepperoni from BOSTON'S NORTH END PIZZA in Kailua. Thin crust, crispy edges, n' tasty sauce, all across!" Staff: fully staffed Interior: plenty of table seating Exterior: next to Tamura's Wait time: 10 mins Parking: lot Overall comments: choose your slices from the display window then they heat it up in the oven. Slice comes out to 2 slices. Carbonara was great tasting. I really liked the marinara sauce on the pepperoni pizza. Da hubz loves thin crust n' my kids ate the pepperoni slices so it was a win-win!

This pizza restaurant is located in a small strip mall. There is lots of free parking right outside. Different kinds of pizza are displayed in a clear case with labels so you know what they are. Orders can be placed by the slice, which they well re toast for you, or whole. There is an option to add a pulled pork topping for an additional fee. The slices are huge, a quarter of a pizza. They will cut it in half for you. I got the meat lovers and my husband got the rambo with the pulled pork topping. There are a handful of tables along side the wall. Each table has a set of napkins and condiments like crushed red pepper, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, etc. Pizza was delicious and the crust was crispy. The kitchen is an open area in the middle of the shop. It's cool to watch them knead the dough, add the toppings, and slide it in the oven. Staff is friendly. The gal at the counter asked me what my current favorite song was then played it over the sound system. The bathroom requires a code that the staff will give you if you just ask. Bonus - it's BYOB!

Been going here for several years but it seems things have recently changed? Perhaps a new operator? We usually get slices, which are about 1/ 4 of a large pie. Seems it's much more bready with thicker more risen crust. We have also noted that some items like the Hot Jimmy have different toppings and portions now? Still a great choice but seems slightly changed. Note seems cleaner, which is a plus.

We love Boston Pizza, this is our first time at this location. This location has seating inside and outside. And they have more options other than Pizza like Stromboli and calzone. We were greeted right when we walked in. I ended up getting a slice and my husband got a Stromboli. We picked drinks from the fridge. And had a nice lunch sitting outside in in front of the restaurant.

Meat lovers, add mushrooms & extra cheese please!

This popular pizza pavilion serves up delicious massive slices (1/4 of a pie = to 2 regular slices) to walk in customers. I walked in around dinner time and selected the all meat slice add mushrooms & EXTRA CHEESE PLEASE! After a quick warm up in the oven, my slice was served up with a friendly shout out! You can tell the crew here knows how work in unison as the flo of call in orders to go kept pace with the many walk ins at the beginning of the 5 pm dinner time rush. The interior has a that east coast decor with a heavy influence of Patriots memorabilia all over the walls. Sports is the theme on the small flat screen tv's and there are several small tables for those customers dining in. Great slice of pie with that hand tossed regular crust that has the right crusty bottom with a slight soft chew. Bonus! As "Patriots" they offer a Military discount with ID. I think I will build my own whole pie next visit.

I haven't been to a Boston's pizza in ages. In all honesty, I had a bad experience at the one in Kaimuki a few years back and haven't been back to any of them since. I'm glad we came to this Kailua location though, friendly service and pizza was as delicious as I remembered. Restaurant was nice and clean, lots of Boston sports memorabilia all over the place.

The giant slices at this pizza spot are amazing. The crispy thin crust was so good! When you first walk in you're greeted with a friendly hello, the inside is kind of small, decorated with lots of sports memorabilia but nothing out of the ordinary. Definitely stop by if you are in the area and need a quick bite to eat, you won't be disappointed!

Was craving pizza and decided to try out Boston's. My first impression was that it was pretty pricy. I had to look up at the board for prices as it was not labeled on the display case. I ordered thinking the pizza was only one slice, but it comes with two slices. After ordering, you pay and then they re-heat it and then put it it in a bag between two paper plates for you. The calzone had bacon and cheese and pesto inside. I was excited to try it, but it was just okay to me. I didn't see much pesto inside and the bacon had a lot of chunks of just fat that couldn't be chewed and I wasn't able to eat. Not much bacon, pesto, and cheese inside either - mostly bread. For $8 I was expecting more inside. 3/5. The pizza was good! I forget which one I got specifically, but for ~$8 for the two slices, it's a pretty good deal. I'll definitely order pizza instead of the calzone the next time. This pizza was good, but I was a bit disappointed with the crust. This crust didn't rise very much (other pizzas I saw on display had crust that rose a lot on the edges, so I probably just got one side that didn't rise much). Overall, not bad and I will stop by again to try other types of pizzas if i'm in the area. Parking: Lots of parking in the shipping center lot.

Of course, the price here in Hawaii is $10.99, but that's still a pretty good special. I used the app and got a pan crust large, with Italian sausage, onions, mushrooms, and extra cheese, along with couple of dipping sauces. The pizza is ready pretty quickly, I just wish the service at this location was, as well. The place is clean, and they have tables for dining, but it really looks like the majority of their business is takeout and delivery. They have 3 large video screens over the front counter, but none of them were on. I think they normally would display food products or food orders in the queue. I stood at the counter for over 5 minutes, while the 2 employed that I could see, just went along doing their business (one was cooking, while the other was prepping for a delivery), and never even acknowled me. The delivery guy walked by me twice without even looking at me. Finally, a third person came out of the back and came up to the counter to ask me if I was picking up an order. I gave him my name and he checked the warming tray at the front and grabbed my pizza (it had been ready for a while). At that point, I was out in less than a minute. I understand that they are probably sort-staffed, but any quick acknowledgement when I walk in would be nice. I know they need to do their job, but isn't serving the customer who's right in front of you, a priority? The pizza was good, anyway.

When inquired about status all I got was 'We are short handed today" Frustrated, I advised I didn't want excuses, I wanted my already paid for pizza. Interesting to me how they take your money fast enough but don't provide minimal service. They don't reduce the price when service is poor. They should consider stop taking orders to provide service customers are paying for. If minimal service cannot be provided perhaps they should not be open for business.

Valentina's is in the parking lot of Tap & Barrel by Lanikai Brewing Company and their main food option. So if you're a beer fan, this is a great compliment to locally made styles of beer. The kitchen is in a trailer outside, and their food is available to go whether or not you're visiting the taproom. They have a bunch of different special options, with most featuring local ingredients. A highlight is the Bee's Knees with spicy honey, pepperoni, and pesto; rich but light. Their prices are reasonable for the quality; one pizza is the perfect size for two people, or more if you're looking for a snack. The staff is great, quick to serve. If you're enjoying the taproom, you can order with your server and they'll bring it to your table. Tap & Barrel has bar seating, high tops, booths, and my favorite outdoor tables to bring the furry friends and dine al fresco. Both areas were not very friendly AND the process took such a long time! Maybe they were upset that we were not ordering beer! Felt uncomfortable. I appreciate a local business & I know how hard it is to own/run one in Hawai'i.

Pizza in my opinion is something of a simple art and less of a fussy creation. Really good pizza…read moredoesn't need truffle oil or kobe beef, because it can lean on its simple quality of ingredients to pull in consumers, instead of wow them with trendy toppings. In my life, I have come across a handful of such standouts in crazy places such as France and Connecticut, and I can now confidently add to that list Hawaii. My husband and I found Fire Dance Pizza at our local farmers market on Sundays in Kailua, when the smell of sourdough wafted through the air around some fresh poi and produce. We bought a pizza, thinking nothing of it, and sat down to eat. Like the movie Ratatouille, each ingredient was like a musical instrument and the bites were like a song. This was not just pizza, this was something magical. The owners and operators start with a naturally fermented yeast dough, throw it into a super hot brick oven, and top its chewy goodness with freshly blistered cherry tomatoes, evoo, crushed garlic, and mozzarella, or goat cheese, and other simple but delicious items. Don't be thinking you're going to get stuffed crust, ranch dip, and canned olives, all these ingredients are fresh. After a few weekends of coming here every Sunday for what we have deemed our "breakfast pizza," we have made our decision that this is the perfect way to routinely celebrate the weekend. Prices are fair, between $12-16 per pizza, which is enough for the two of us to split, or one very hungry surfer. Talks of opening up a brick and mortar restaurant are in the works, and when that happens, you know we'll be there. With pizza like this available, you won't see me getting excited about pizza anywhere else on the island.
