Ordered takeout...just walked in and waited a little over ten minutes. Requested the B.E.C. - bacon, egg ( over easy ), and cheddar cheese. I have a sophmoric joke...but I won't go there. Sourdough waffle was a bit sweet from I believe maple syrup. The cheese and bacon made for a well balanced tasting breakfast. Coffee Honey Slush was disappointing. Coffee flavor wasn't strong...it was okay, but I don't think I'd order it again.

So happy to see another great pizza place in Kailua! As someone who lived in NYC, I'm always looking for good pizza places and Nomadic did not disappoint. The sour dough crust was super yummy and all the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The piña colada slush was refreshing and flavor-packed and the Cesar salad was so good! We'll definitely be frequent customers. We went on opening day and the service was fabulous. The owner came by to chat and all the staff were so nice and welcoming. We ate inside and it had a cozy, homey vibe. A must try when you're on the East Side!

Ok- So as a food enthusiast I was scrolling thru my Instagram and came across a reel showcasing this place. So I figured why not venture from Pearl City to Kailua with my ohana and check it out. 1st off we got here after 1pm so they do not serve waffles after 1pm. They are closed on Sundays, parking is behind the business, with some street parking. When my ohana and I walked in, atmosphere was nice and simple, offering small tables and some outside seating as well. Everything made is sourdough based, the pizzas aren't too big, I would say for keiki ages 7 and under they could easily share one pizza. Being my two youngest are 6 and 7 they managed to eat a whole pizza between the two of them. Of course one wanted all cheese and the other one wanted meat lovers, they were able to combine it where one pizza was half meat lovers and half cheese (for the lovely price of a full meat lovers pizza of $25) to me not worth it as the meat lover toppings were few The lady who took our order wasn't very friendly, and it showed after we paid for our order. We sat at the small tables to eat the pizzas there with our lilikoi honey slushes. When we waited for our order, my husband noticed the cashier call our number and avoided eye contact as she proceeded to another table with our items as you could see the disappointment of the tip amount we gave when ordering our food. My youngest needed to use the bathroom and when I had asked if they had a restroom she was quick to reply with a not so friendly "No" Not any further recommendations as to where we could go to use a restroom. The only person who seemed really nice was a nice lady from the kitchen area, as my son had spilt his water on the table and I asked if they happen to have a mop so I could possibly clean it as I didnt want to waste their napkins. She was super friendly and helpful. Overall the pizzas were ok, not really worth $22-$25 for size and amount of ingredients Definitely expensive Also they charge extra for take out boxes So if u order to take out you will incur a charge for the box Also if u don't finish your food and want a box to go you will have to purchase one. Totally understand businesses need to make their money Wasn't impressed by the customer service from the cashier and the food was just ok Most likely won't come all the way to eat here again.

The pizza was black and burnt all over the bottom... We couldn't eat it. $55 for two pizzas and 15% tip in the trash.

I am so excited to have Nomadic here in Kailua. The pizza and honey slush are excellent. I'd love to see pita sandwiches on the menu!

Of course, the price here in Hawaii is $10.99, but that's still a pretty good special. I used the app and got a pan crust large, with Italian sausage, onions, mushrooms, and extra cheese, along with couple of dipping sauces. The pizza is ready pretty quickly, I just wish the service at this location was, as well. The place is clean, and they have tables for dining, but it really looks like the majority of their business is takeout and delivery. They have 3 large video screens over the front counter, but none of them were on. I think they normally would display food products or food orders in the queue. I stood at the counter for over 5 minutes, while the 2 employed that I could see, just went along doing their business (one was cooking, while the other was prepping for a delivery), and never even acknowled me. The delivery guy walked by me twice without even looking at me. Finally, a third person came out of the back and came up to the counter to ask me if I was picking up an order. I gave him my name and he checked the warming tray at the front and grabbed my pizza (it had been ready for a while). At that point, I was out in less than a minute. I understand that they are probably sort-staffed, but any quick acknowledgement when I walk in would be nice. I know they need to do their job, but isn't serving the customer who's right in front of you, a priority? The pizza was good, anyway.

They were very generous, and the gentleman helping me at the front was very polite. Inside there are nice seats around 3 booths and it looks newly renovated or well upkept. I am happy that there's a really good domino's so close to me and I will be coming here again thank you.

Valentina's is in the parking lot of Tap & Barrel by Lanikai Brewing Company and their main food option. So if you're a beer fan, this is a great compliment to locally made styles of beer. The kitchen is in a trailer outside, and their food is available to go whether or not you're visiting the taproom. They have a bunch of different special options, with most featuring local ingredients. A highlight is the Bee's Knees with spicy honey, pepperoni, and pesto; rich but light. Their prices are reasonable for the quality; one pizza is the perfect size for two people, or more if you're looking for a snack. The staff is great, quick to serve. If you're enjoying the taproom, you can order with your server and they'll bring it to your table. Tap & Barrel has bar seating, high tops, booths, and my favorite outdoor tables to bring the furry friends and dine al fresco. If you love pizza and are looking for something different in the Kailua area, this one is recommended.

Both areas were not very friendly AND the process took such a long time! Maybe they were upset that we were not ordering beer! Felt uncomfortable. Pizza was bland and crust was too charred underneath. Cooks have to remember to brush/clean the oven after each pie that was baked. I appreciate a local business & I know how hard it is to own/run one in Hawai'i.

Really good pizza…read moredoesn't need truffle oil or kobe beef, because it can lean on its simple quality of ingredients to pull in consumers, instead of wow them with trendy toppings. In my life, I have come across a handful of such standouts in crazy places such as France and Connecticut, and I can now confidently add to that list Hawaii. My husband and I found Fire Dance Pizza at our local farmers market on Sundays in Kailua, when the smell of sourdough wafted through the air around some fresh poi and produce. We bought a pizza, thinking nothing of it, and sat down to eat. Like the movie Ratatouille, each ingredient was like a musical instrument and the bites were like a song. This was not just pizza, this was something magical. The owners and operators start with a naturally fermented yeast dough, throw it into a super hot brick oven, and top its chewy goodness with freshly blistered cherry tomatoes, evoo, crushed garlic, and mozzarella, or goat cheese, and other simple but delicious items. Don't be thinking you're going to get stuffed crust, ranch dip, and canned olives, all these ingredients are fresh. After a few weekends of coming here every Sunday for what we have deemed our "breakfast pizza," we have made our decision that this is the perfect way to routinely celebrate the weekend. Prices are fair, between $12-16 per pizza, which is enough for the two of us to split, or one very hungry surfer. Talks of opening up a brick and mortar restaurant are in the works, and when that happens, you know we'll be there. With pizza like this available, you won't see me getting excited about pizza anywhere else on the island.
