The pizza here is surprisingly pretty good. I saw an ad for $9.99 any size, any topping pizza, so I decided to order one. Of course, the price here in Hawaii is $10.99, but that's still a pretty good special. I used the app and got a pan crust large, with Italian sausage, onions, mushrooms, and extra cheese, along with couple of dipping sauces. The pizza is ready pretty quickly, I just wish the service at this location was, as well. The place is clean, and they have tables for dining, but it really looks like the majority of their business is takeout and delivery. They have 3 large video screens over the front counter, but none of them were on. I think they normally would display food products or food orders in the queue. I stood at the counter for over 5 minutes, while the 2 employed that I could see, just went along doing their business (one was cooking, while the other was prepping for a delivery), and never even acknowled me. The delivery guy walked by me twice without even looking at me. Finally, a third person came out of the back and came up to the counter to ask me if I was picking up an order. I gave him my name and he checked the warming tray at the front and grabbed my pizza (it had been ready for a while). At that point, I was out in less than a minute. I understand that they are probably sort-staffed, but any quick acknowledgement when I walk in would be nice. For a delivery less than 3 miles away from store it took over an hour and 10 minutes. Pizza was barely warm. When inquired about status all I got was 'We are short handed today" Frustrated, I advised I didn't want excuses, I wanted my already paid for pizza. Interesting to me how they take your money fast enough but don't provide minimal service. They don't reduce the price when service is poor. They should consider stop taking orders to provide service customers are paying for. If minimal service cannot be provided perhaps they should not be open for business. read more

t's crazy. I'm not going to post the pictures because this is why I have lawyers, but I wasn't given any receipt. It was literally a 12 to 13-year-old kid working behind the counter, and his clothes were rubbing all in the pizza dough while he was preparing it. I saw him multiple times take his hoodie strings out of the food. He was preparing when I called the store to complain about it. I forget the clown's name, but the district manager claims to be the district manager and says that in the state of a Hawaii , kids can work when I was when I told him, but they can drag their clothes all into food. He had nothing to say, and I asked for a refund. He was like, "Why didn't you ask for a refund because that night after paying, I'm waiting 35 minutes for one of my orders. They accused that I did not pay when I paid 35 minutes ago for a pick-up order and check what I'm saying." But they're complete trash. Did they judge people based on how they dress? I came in from my lunch break at the place I work. I'm a nurse, and I do not like to bring outside germs into my job, especially working with hospice patients. So when I take my break, I put on home clothes. These arrogant people, they're gonna learn though. I'm calling the Department of Health, and I'll share the footage with them. Do you think because they own a little Domino's that there's anything my family is not to brag about? My family is on one of the largest car rentals in the Caribbean as well as in one of the largest natural juice companies. I'm not saying all of this to Brad. I'm just saying treat your customers with respect because you never know who's walking through your door and how much money you have to spend on legal fees? Customer service is not this locations expertise, sadly. Ordered pizza for the family over two hours ago and was told the pizza would be delivered within 40 minutes give or take. It's been over an hour since the delivery driver has left with my order with no whereabouts. I called twice to figure it out. The second time I asked to cancel the order, was made to feel like an annoyance and then to which I was told "well if your pizza shows up, you cannot keep it" and then hung up on. A friend told me she received a notification about the large two topping pizza for $6.99,ehen I searched Domino's Hawaii up it popped. Tried ordering and it wouldn't allow an order to process. I then tried to call in an order and still a no go because he said they do not have access to that in the store. I have used this Dominos for years and I haven't had any bad costumer service until today. They have gotten Multiple things wrong in the past where I've had to call and get things replaced and I've pushed it off a mistake and they fix it. Today we called Because we asked for a bread bowl with no onions or mushrooms. They sent it with both of those ingredients on it. We called and we got called a Liar by the women who answered that "made it" and we offered to send a picture and we got ignored. Then she goes on to say we have "complained" too much in the past. Update: Don't bother using customer service, because despite them supposedly contacting the store directly- this store literally has never tried to follow up on these requests. Waste of money and waste of time. Avoid this location! Thoroughly irritated by this store. Just don't go and spend money there please. I went because I just wanted pizza but they don't have personal pan pizza meals like Pizza Hit & Little Caesars does. Went to store, held door for Domino's driver, went in (no greeting or simple "hello"), got leaked on by the store ceiling, watched 2 coworkers yelling at each other. No one else besides 2 family members of an employee was in the dining area and myself. I'm the only customer that did a Walk In order, and sat on their chair inside for takeout. Tip: It's annoying but it would be best if you just stand and wait by the counter for the employees to pay attention to you or even ask about your order. My order sat in the heater for probably 5-10mins longer than it was expected because not 1 employee would just ask me about my order. I WAS THE ONLY ONE STILL SITTING IN THE STORE THAT PLACED AN ORDER FOR 20 MINS. Other customers came, got their orders and left quickly. I was waiting to be called just like every other store does. I was being patient too. It's just common sense to have at least 1 person constantly checking to make sure the food in the heater gets passed out or checking on customers waiting in the store. read more

Giving Dominos 5 stars here because they came in clutch around 1:30 in the morning. One of the few places around Kailua open that late when you're craving a late night binge session. The remodel they did has the place looking good, and the food came out hot and ready, almost rivaling Lil Caesars. It was the weekend so the wait was a little longer than normal, but it was worth it. Shout out to the staff member who got me more toppings and a cheaper pizza when she mentioned the deal they were running. I will be back again soon. read more

My son and his girlfriend recently ordered from this Kailua location. While there an employee was rudely making comments from the back to them about them getting their order in a take out box. They took their food to go but sat to eat a slice before going. They weren't planning on eating it there but the employee assumed they were staying. His loud and rude comments were uncalled for. They said they will never return there again. The only reason I am writing this review is because EVERYTIME we have come in, there has always been a rude, loud employee making unnecessary comments. They told us the wait was 30 min from when we ordered until it's delivered. It has now been over an hour and a half. Called and spoke with 4 different people at the store, no one has a clue what's going on. They told me the pizza was delivered when it wasn't then told us not to trust the online tracker and that the delivery was on its way. We ordered the food at 7:20, it's now 9:08 and they'll remake the pizza. We have kids to feed and get to bed but instead we're dealing with this. The manager told me that apparently their contactless delivery with our instructions on specifically where to leave it actually means that they need to stand there and watch us pick up the pizza before they leave. So they came, called from phone number that we obviously didn't recognize, didn't leave a voicemail and it would not allow us to return the call. The phone literally will not receive calls, who ever decided that was a great business model is clearly an idiot. I asked why they can't "confirm" the delivery with a photo like every other food delivery service and the manager told me they have so many orders that taking a single photo is beyond them. But waiting them for someone to physically take the pizza isn't???? So now past 9, family is super hungry, dominos is being super condescending and can't seem to get their story straight. The first 3 people told us it's still on the way, the final manager we spoke to told us, oh no we brought the pizza back to the store and didn't bother trying to contact us to inform us off that an hour ago. So their business model is to offer contactless delivery the requires contact and if you miss the call, that is apparently impossible to call the number back, you know because it's 1971, then decide we'll bring the pizza back to the store and not inform the customer, and then when the customer calls to ask where the pizza is because the order tracker claims it's been delivered, 3 of 4 different people tell us it's still with the delivery driver on its way, to calm down and be patient. They even went as far as to inform us that it's impossible to contact the driver to ask where they are or how long it'll be... WORST SERVICE EVER! FOR A COMPANY THAT CLAIMS THEY ARE THE BEST, THEY SHOULD BE SUED FOR FALSE ADVERTISING! I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF THEY SHUT DOWN ENTIRELY FROM THEIR CLEAR LACK OF COMMON SNESE, COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOU'RE MAKING PIZZAS AND DELIVERING THEM, NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.. DO BETTER! The bad reviews for this place have to be fake. This store has always been amazing! The team is friendly and always get my order right. Zero problems picking up curbside orders or receiving delivery orders. Toppings are more plentiful than Pizza Hut so I don't have to order extra and their thin crust is perfectly crisp every time. My coworkers and I wanted to eat pizza today. It was unusually rainy but decided to go to Domino's rather than have them deliver. We ordered online and was notified before we left to pick up the order that it would be ready in 10 to 13 minutes. When we got there as promised the pizzas were ready.
