This place rocks on every level: Oldschool; clean but not glitzy. Cool little back office nook with space heater. Very nice staff, and efficiently skillful. Low key and amazing with my 8yo little guy. Gave him exactly what we wanted for a mere $21. Austin, our barber, was very sweet about me needing to run get cash (they're cash-only). My son said Austin even set him up with the "original Sonic!!" video game while he waited for me to get back. So glad to find our new barber right in our 'hood! read more

I like getting haircuts, and they do a good job. It's 21 bucks, so if you call this expensive, get over it, it's a clean shop, great guys, and you will walk away will less hair, which is EXACTLY what you want. They tend to have music playing to set the mood, a crappy cup of coffee is complementary, reading materials of all facets, and padded chairs. It's a dude place, simple, and they guys there are professionals, experts of the hair cutting needs. I have always had great experiences, just tell them what you want, and they will do it. read more

Showed up at 11:00am to get a cut here after a recommendation from a friend. Waited until 11:35, nobody showed up and there was no sign on the door. If you advertise that you're open 11-6, somebody needs to be there at 11. Myself and another gentlemen waited for more than 30 minutes and nobody showed. It really comes down to valuing our time as customers, and this felt pretty disrespectful. Can't speak to the haircut quality, I heard its pretty good, but hard to get a cut if nobody is there. read more

The absolute worst haircut I've gotten in my life. A blind dog could've given me a better haircut. How can this guy even have experience cutting hair when it turns out the way my hair did? He screwed up my hairline so bad that when I came back to ask for a refund he said "It's not like I was trying to take it out on you" Are you sure? Because my haircut looks like you did it out of vengeance. The whole process took about 5 minutes, I should've just walked out halfway through when he completely dismissed the cut that I actually wanted and started chopping off way too much hair. This barber shop shouldn't have a business license. You would get a much better haircut if you went to the elementary school down the street and gave them a pair of clippers. I'm honestly disgusted this place exists. I will have to push back work interviews because of the embarrassment. read more

Agree with the other reviews. Solid barbershop. $10 for a buzz cut + $5 tip because I appreciate how meticulous they are about making sure you get a clean cut. I've been to other places where they leave stray hairs, and it still costs more than $15. The only thing keeping this place from 5 stars is inconsistent hours. Sometimes they'll open late or close early. Is that just the nature of a neighborhood barbershop? It was tolerable when I lived in Queen Anne, but it's kind of annoying now. So now I either call before I go, or I grab some coffee and the Saturday paper and head over around noon. Sure, I'll probably wait a little while, but at least I'm reasonably sure they'll be open. read more

I gave them the three haircut try. I had one great haircut and two mediocre cuts. Not good given the fact that they charge so much. I tried two different barbers. I had high hopes for them given the look and feel of the shop as well as the price point. I was totally willing to pay the price if they offered something more than Supercuts can give around the corner. They didn't deliver and I'll probably go back to Supercuts and save $. I love this place. Forget fancy salons... all you need is a good ol' regular BARBER to clean ya up. No frills, good conversation and plenty of magazines if you need to catch up on recent events. I think two guys usually run the place, and sometimes they can get a little backed up, but it's definately worth the wait. Take a quick stroll if you don't want to sit. Didn't get my hair cut here, but herein lies the issue. I called them to ask for wait time. I was told 20 min. I was at Safeway next door, in my car. So I walked in about a minute after I called. 3 people ahead of me and only 1 barber - the same one who answered the phone. I asked him how he equated 3 people to be 20 min, and he said maybe it would be 30 min. So you're either a liar or going to give 10 min haircuts - neither is good. read more

Relatively poor hair cut. Prices are par with competition but quality is not there. Interiors are pretty low profile and worn. Staff is talkative. Location is convenient.
