    Boston Market ain't bad.
    Steven M.

Boston Market is one of the chains that will always have a special little place in my heart. I remember coming here as a kid and ordering the light piece chicken combo, I thought it was incredible. Now, at 30 years old I still occasionally get the urge to come back and order the same thing. I stopped in last Saturday night this location was absolutely packed (who would of knew?). I ended up waiting in line a little bit (good for them for being busy still) but before you know it I was ordering a half light chicken combo with mashed potatoes with gravy and some macaroni and cheese. The reason I was most pleased with my visit was just how friendly the staff was. The employee working the register apologized for the wait (which I didn't even think was bad) and gave me a free cup to fill up with a pop of my choice! Overall, I'm giving Boston Market 4 stars based on it being a great Boston Market, not a fantastic establishment with the best food you'll ever eat. I did enjoy the chicken, it was actually pretty flavourful and juicy. The mashed potatoes were also pretty good, and the same can be said about the macaroni and cheese. Boston Market is a solid American chain that gets the job done if you want a decent priced lunch or dinner in a quick time span. I enjoyed my stop and I think you would too!

Have not been in here for years! Needed a quick meal but didn't want junk food so we decided to stop in here and found some good choices. We will frequent it as we did join their VIP club and now we get coupons

I took my son there for lunch the other day, and we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who as it turns out, I knew from his previous restaurants stops. I hadn't seen him in about 15 years, but I recognized him instantly. Great service, polite and courteous staff, and delicious fresh food, are my initial reactions. I was surprised how good the San Franco pizza was! I also had a bowl of Pasta Fasola which was outstanding. I live in the city of Buffalo between Delaware and Elmwood and there are many pizza places around here, plus, I grew up on Bocce on Bailey pizza. However, the Forno Napoli pizza now ruins all others for me. I have never been to Italy, but I imagine this is what pizza is like there. Authentic and fresh. I'm taking all 3 of my kids back there tonight. Trying their salads and pasta as well. This place was very busy on a weekday at 4pm, so it is not a secret. It is also not cheap. You are paying for the quality of the food, and it is worth it.

It looked fantastic. But when I asked his rating, he gave it 6/10 stars. However, I wouldn't trust anyone who doesn't like cheese so take it with a grain of salt I was torn between the Bianca and Quattro pizza so I asked the kind man at the register for his suggestion; he said the Bianca is more popular so I went with that. I enjoyed my pizza, although I wouldn't order this one again. I do want to say that it is pricey but you will get a very big pie of great quality. The dough was excellent! It was actually my favorite part and I've never said that about any pizza! Atmosphere is extremely casual. There's fruit infused waters to have and you go and grab them yourself (back right corner). But you can order bottles of soda, alcohol, etc. Also in the back right corner are small pizza boxes for leftovers you can grab if needed. This food was so good it's making me come out of Yelp semi-retirement…read more A certain hot chicken sandwich chain was giving out free sandwiches with a download of their app today, and as we drove by the restaurant I knew it was not in the cards - that place was PACKED. So instead, I perused Yelp for other fast dinner options. Here I came across HCK Hot Chicken, skimmed reviews (I rarely let other people sway my opinions anyway) and after checking the small-ish menu we decided to check it out. THANK GOODNESS WE DID. The space only had a few people when we got here, and after sitting and waiting for food I did notice many to-go/takeout orders come and go. They have a SOLID menu, with many staple chicken dishes (chicken sandwich, chicken & waffles, even a mac & cheese bowl), and of course, hot sauce of varying degrees. There's also a big ol' neon sign that says "HALAL" over their menu, so I'm assuming they ARE halal to some extent (would ask to confirm). I ain't no pansy, so I got a medium heat chicken sandwich. If that's not your baseline, you don't know hot chicken baby!! One of two combos (the other being just tenders) comes with the sandwich, fries, and a drink for about $15. My husband ordered the mac and cheese bowl, also medium. Now, you know how sometimes you order medium heat, and it's more like a warmer mild? Well, that's definitely not the case here. This is where HKC would get an extra star from me if it could. SIX stars for a medium hot chicken sandwich that was ACTUALLY medium, ACTUALLY cleared out my sinuses pretty well, and the fact that I slammed that sandwich down like it was my job speaks volumes. I tried my husband's Mac too, and it was so, so good. Y'all underestimate how much I've fallen for this place. I don't even live in the area anymore, and I'm already plotting ways and reasons for me to come over here so I can stop by for lunch when so desired. Staff was also very pleasant! We didn't spend too much time waiting in the lobby, an our food was out within 10 minutes of ordering. They're advertising as "made to order" and I can concur with that - our meals were fresh, and of course, HOT! I need these guys to move next door to my house! Until then, I'll be back to visit soon for sure.

Everything was delicious, but the xiao long bao was easily the highlight. The dumpling skin was the perfect thickness, and you could really taste the crab in the filling. The prices were also very reasonable, especially compared to other dumpling spots I've been to that cost more without matching the quality. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in the area!

I loved all the sauces we tried (saucy hot cajun, medium, and garlic parm). The wings were perfectly crisp, and the steak pizza had a ton of flavor. Definitely a heavier meal, but if you're bringing someone from out of town who wants great wings, this is a spot worth taking them to.

I'm always on the lookout, keeping my ear to the ground, for great pizza places in Buffalo…read more Although sometimes, I just want to try some place new. I had heard good things about Naked City Pizza, so I decided to take a break from my usual spots and give them a try and overall, I am very pleased! I called around 4:45pm on a Saturday and a gentleman took my order. He was courteous and friendly and said my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived about 30 minutes later, easily finding a parking spot in their large parking lot, which is a mixture of pavement and dirt/gravel. Walking inside the shop, it's similar to most Buffalo pizza shops where it's relatively small and really about take-out, not for dining in. There were a few young guys working the counter and ovens, they were able to get me in and out quickly. From the limited time I was inside, the workers were friendly enough, they seemed to get along well. For dinner, I ordered a Quarter Sheet (6 slices) Steak and Three Cheese pizza but the gentleman who took my order over the phone put my order in as a Half Sheet (12 slices). They realized the mistake too late and gave me the Half Sheet for the Quarter Sheet price! I really do appreciate that, it's great customer service. I have half a pizza leftover for a quick dinner now! Naked City Pizza nails the traditional Buffalo-style with a doughier undercarriage and nice crispy, chewy crust. The dough was airy but it didn't seem as "heavy" as many other pizza places around Buffalo, but maybe I was just REALLY hungry. haha For their steak pizza, it seems like they use thicker pieces of steak, which was great, definitely felt more substantial. Most steak pizzas come topped with banana, hot, or sweet (bell/green) peppers, but Naked City uses roasted red peppers, which are sweet and have a more distinct flavor and softer texture - I was impressed, this paired VERY well with the other components! Along with them, there's also onions on top. The three cheeses used are cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, which of course are delicious. In addition to the roasted sweet peppers, the other component that I was surprised by was the white garlic sauce as the base. Steak pizzas around Buffalo vary from using a "hoagie oil/sauce" to just a huge variety of cheeses, no base sauce of any kind. I tend to stay away from white sauce on pizza as it's usually associated with garlic (I don't want my breath to be too... fragrant haha), but this wasn't too garlic-y, I didn't feel like I was "wearing it". I enjoyed the added creaminess the white sauce added to this pie. After six slices, I stopped myself and put the other half in the freezer. The six slices I had were delicious and filled me up nicely - The squares were cut nicely and they were plenty filling with tons of meat and cheese. I have a feeling these will reheat in the oven nicely. Looking at the prices, I was impressed too with how affordable Naked City Pizza is! All-in-all, I'm glad I gave Naked City Pizza a chance and had a great experience! The staff are friendly enough and quick, it's easy to get in and out quickly, and the pizza is traditional Buffalo-style so it's on the heartier end while being affordable. I look forward to ordering and trying a red sauce pizza from Naked City Pizza to see how sweet their sauce is.
