I reserved a ride with Boston Limousine to pick me up from the hospital after a medical procedure. They offer a "non-emergency medical transport" service which is required for hospital discharge if you can't drive yourself and have no available ride options. (Uber/taxis do not provide this service.) This is my first time using Boston Limousine and I was very concerned that unless everything was well coordinated, I would need to spend the night in the hospital. It would not only have resulted in a huge out-of-pocket expense, but more importantly, it would also mean leaving a family member essentially unattended overnight. Bottom line is that I was more concerned about the hospital discharge process than about the medical procedure itself. I shouldn't have worried. I made a reservation with Rayna at Boston Limousine, and she coordinated the details so expertly that even though the hospital's estimates for my discharge time changed several times, and I was discharged at a different location from that in my original reservation, my ride was available exactly when I was ready to leave. Kamal, my excellent driver, actually came in to get me (per the hospital requirements) at the correct location inside this huge hospital complex, and I was discharged without an issue. I was scheduled to be discharged after normal business hours, and Rayna even provided me with her cell phone number in case there were any changes to the discharge time! In addition to her professionalism and attention to detail, the level of kindness and caring that Rayna showed through the entire process really brought my stress level down, and made a very difficult day so much easier. The ride home was about 50 miles, and Kamal's driving was smooth and efficient, and his manner was friendly and professional. Even though I was a little sore from the procedure, it was a very comfortable, pleasant ride. I booked a 4am trip to the airport for my family (including young children), the driver went to the wrong town (which also happed to start with the same letter) and was too far away to get us in time. Let's make sure we are clear with this review... the driver was on time, and drove us as we asked. We were In town as our cruise ship stopped at Boston's port. We simply wanted a tour of Boston. This included Fenway, Paul Revere's home, Harvard, etc. we got exactly that. However, the vehicle was not as described online. Yes, it was a Chevy Suburban or Tahoe, but that was the only similarity. The vehicle was not clean... inside or out. I've been in dozens of limos and car services over the years. At a MINIMUM, the car should be washed and a quick once over should be done, prior to a planned pickup. The carpet was dirty, there were multiple bottles of water (half empty) left laying around, an old piece of candy in the cup holder, crumbs on the seats, etc. in addition, there was tape on the dining board (I assume to cover up something else?) and the vehicle simply wasn't clean. Again, a clean vehicle (inside & out) should be the minimum. The driver was friendly & knowledgeable. He was also on time. No complaints about him. read more

Do not use Boston Limousine if you want to be on time. They arrived one hour late on my wedding day. They gave me no excuse or refund. Be warned. They ruined our wedding. We ordered the wedding package which was supposed to come with a driver wearing white gloves and a bottle of champagne. The driver didn't get out of the car and didn't have any gloves (not that it was a big deal but it was what was offered and sold on) there was also no champagne. Those were the two things special about the package. Most importantly they were an hour late. We ordered a big limo to bring all of our friends to our after party. They arrived so late that only two friends were left to ride in the limo with us and our after party was empty. Most people gave up after 30 or 40 minutes waiting and some said goodbye to us right when we arrived. We had ordered a venue and food for many guests and it was all wasted due to Boston Limousine's incompetence. I placed a grievance a month ago with them and have yet to hear any apology or response in any way. read more

Well well: here I am sitting in the lobby of my building at 4:45 AM with not a soul in sight thinking evil thoughts about this company. By 5 AM I am thinking more than evil thoughts as my flight time approaches. Finally the dope calls me..."I can not find your building". Now when I booked I gave them explicit directions to my building which by the way the bloody building is massive so God knows how you miss it in the first place. Finally he shows up and off we go however as soon as we start off it is apparent he has not a clue how to get to Logan. Now I am giving him directions to get there by the quickest route. No complaints. I called this place and reserved a Lincoln Town Car for the day of the wedding. The price was reasonable and the process was pretty painless. They do take the payment up front and they do charge a 20% gratuity up front too. And, you have to fax them a copy of your license and credit card. But, the good news was that the tip was all taken care of and one less thing to worry about on the day of the wedding. Our driver, Dave, arrived about 15 minutes early, which was nice (for my nerves). He knew he was early and didn't rush us at all. He was friendly, professional and helpful. It made me very happy. My experience on Saturday night left me with a very poor impression of Boston Limousine. I was appalled at the poor condition of the limo that was assigned to my reservation and as if the exterior condition was not poor enough, with cracks all over the top (vinyl?) of the vehicle, the interior reflected abuse and neglect like I have never experienced in a vehicle used for service. The seats were full of tears and holes, the carpet was filthy, empty/used water bottles and cups littered the areas above/behind the headrests of the seats, and the odor was so horrible we had to keep the windows down for most of the trip. The driver was courteous at least, but the individuals who were in my party that rode in the dilapidated vehicle with me were each as appalled that Boston Limousine would allow a vehicle in such condition to be used in active service. I am disappointed that Boston Limousine did not live up to the reputation I thought it had, and until this situation is rectified I will certainly hesitate to use Boston Limousine in the future, or to recommend it to colleagues and friends, based on this experience. Return business and word-of-mouth referrals are vital to any company's success, especially in an economic climate like today's, and I hope this review will at least result in action toward the particular vehicle that was assigned to my reservation, if not a review of the condition of all vehicles in the company's fleet. read more

We used them before and they were wonderful. This time, we had an emergency and our ride couldn't pick us up. 12 hours before we needed a ride, I did an online chat with Rayna. I explained the situation and at first she said they couldn't do it, but then asked if I could hold on. She was able to re-arrange something and fit us into the schedule. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! When I signed up for this service, I quote the amount that was given to me on rilimo.com of ~$100 from Franklin to Boston. However, when I was dropped off at the airport the limo driver gave me a bill for $198 (this is SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive than comparable limo services as well as more expensive than they quoted me). Given I was late for my flight, I had to sign and leave. When I disputed that bill later that day/week, I was told I had received an email for it (funnily enough it never appeared in my inbox or my deleted email account). They are liars, and I would use Exceptional Limo or another limo service instead. read more

I do not recommend this company! We had a party bus scheduled for an anniversary party and the bus was supposed to arrive at 4:00. My husband and I were going to take a weekend trip to Boston and had to cancel because my husband had a heart attack and emergency bypass surgery two days before our departure. Every other company we had reservations with cancelled our reservations no problem based on the circumstances. This awful company had no compassion and refused to refund any money. The "manager" even called me names over the phone and acted completely unprofessional. She also refused to give me contact information for whoever was above her. Very nice ride home after a long business trip.

Picture it: we were just married; our guests had all left the reception. We were so tired from the evening that I had kicked off my heels and was standing outside the venue bare foot. The saving grace, I thought, is that our livery car from Boston Limo was going to pick us up at 11:30PM and whisk us away. At 11:28, I checked my phone and noticed a message from the driver who said he had left Logan at 11:15 and would be a few minutes late. Uh-oh, I thought. Even at 11:15 at night, it takes longer than 20 minutes to get from Logan to Lincoln. So I called him back, and guess what? No answer. I left a message. And then another one. And then another one. We stood outside our wedding venue waiting for half an hour and no one from Boston Limo ever showed up. What's worse, the driver who was ostensibly on his way never answered his cell phone. We eventually had to bum a ride from one of our guests. The worst part is that when I emailed Boston Limo to complain, the person from BL merely said "I do apologize for the inconvenience, unfortunetly {sic} the driver was in an accident on the way to the pick up. I do apologize for not getting back with you sooner regarding this matter." When I wrote back to nicely suggest that she should encourage drivers to answer their cell phones, she seemed eager to dismiss me. Um... considering that my husband and I were standing outside after our wedding like idiots for half an hour, I think Boston Limo owes us more than an apology for the "inconvenience." I called this company to take me from Boston Logan to Amherst College for my 20 year college reunion. I decided I was willing to spoil my family for 1200 just this one time. I was scared to drive thru boston but that was a mistake. I am so mad at myself I did not read the reviews as I can see many people have had the same horrible experience as myself. It is run by a middle eastern group of people that have terrible customer service-all except one secretary by the name of Chris (she was american). First of all, their cars are old and dingy!!! Secondly they are not timely. I couldn't believe the car was 20 minutes late for pickup and they didn't even call me to let me know. I was paying 650 dollars!!!!! At first I thought I got pinked because when I called the central office no one was answering. I agree that their fancy internet add is a total scam. Open 24/ hours a day???????? The final clincher was when they sent a broken down car with poor transmission (that they blamed on the driver not closing the gas cap but the driver told me that the local auto shop was saying it had no oil!!!) to Amherst (which apparently had problems the day before per driver) and then they sent a smaller rescue sedan car (3 hours later) in which we literally were sitting on top suit cases in the back sea praying to get to the airport in time to make a direct flight back to phoenix. Thank god logan airport had their shit together!!!!!!!. They refused to provide a discount despite all this. They have no business offering a pricey service that they don't have a backup plan to remedy the situation in 1 hour. I consider this my worst financial investment of my life. If you read the reviews it is obviously very common for them to be late and provide horrible service. I have never written a review because I consider myself too busy....but these people outraged me so much that I could not hold back.
