Easily one of my favorite fish fry's in the area. Fish was flaky and melts in your mouth. The fry seasoning is on point and the Cole slaw and Mac salad were super fresh tasting!

If you like black, nasty clams, that's the place to go...., I was told that's why they're so cheap buy more expensive ones

First of all let me say this place is decorated beautifully. It looks like something concocted from a sweet daydream of a book lover. There are all kind of books and stained glass details which are beautiful. It also happens to have some pretty tasty cocktails which is a plus. Their menu is not updated on any of their pages so I can't remember what I ordered. It was a cocktail that mixed crisp, dry white wine, some kind of spirit and club soda. It was refreshing, interesting and light yet had just enough flavor to make it unique. The service was good. There were 2 bartenders that night who were helpful, attentive and friendly. There are a few tables with umbrellas outdoors in the front. A bar and some tables on the first floor inside and a metal spiral staircase which has a few small tables on the 2nd floor. Def not a great place for groups. Try and come at an odd time to get a seat.

We talked with Reanna and Michael about how they started their venture. Really nice couple and really nice business. It is worth the trip. There's a ton of comfortable seating whether you sit inside in front of the taps, in front of the window, at the comfy chairs, over in the book nook or outside, there's a great place to kick back and relax. I haven't even got to the beer yet. For a relatively new place (opened in September) they have their shit together. We tried the black IPA and the Citrice IPA. The Witches at black Masses was smoky and full of flavor. The Citrice was crisp and everything you'd like in an IPA. Amarillo hops are one of my favorite, and this beer didn't disappoint. For breweries I'd have to say the eclectic nature of this place, the beautiful countryside and the charisma of the owners make it a standout establishment. Besides the fact that they have a great selection of all kinds of beer. I even tried the Heffy and I liked that as well. Take a drive and make this a tasty rest stop. You won't be sorry...and don't forget to give Mabel a pat on the head.

The atmosphere is very cool and ecclectic with a masculine, antique, lodge vibe. The beers are tasty, and a few are very unique with green pepper cream ale and black IPA. I really enjoyed all of the samples I had, and I ended up purchasing the harvest spice seltzer. It was crisp and a little more like a cider than a seltzer. The owners are personable, and you can tell they are excited to have this new business open and gaining popularity. They will be open to small private event too, which is great if you live in the area.

In a little corner of Boston, seldom traveled by non-locals, lies a little bar/concert-venue known…read moreas Couzins. In many ways, going to Couzins reminded us of visiting family -- they may be a bit dysfunctional, but they mean well. Special thanks to follower Scott Waite for the recommendation. Location: 2.5 / 5 Walking in felt a little like being the last to show up to the family reunion. The regulars confusingly studied us like we were distant "Couzins" whose name they forgot. The bartender (aka Aunt Carol), clearly surprised to have visitors, directed us to grab a table from the storage/dining area and await further instruction. Presentation: 3 / 5 While waiting for our wings, Uncle Carl from the kitchen came out and brought us a stack of non-descript paper products, which we thought were for garbage, but it turned out those would be our plates. Otherwise nothing special or offensive in the way these wings were presented. Meat: 3.5 / 5 Some flats were not cut well and had some exposed tips (i.e. the "hand" part of the chicken wing, typically reserved for Grandma's stock pot) which is not ideal but also not unusual. Cook: 8.5 / 10 These ate pretty good. Even the slippery-looking ones were cooked decently. Like when dad runs the grill -- the burgers may not be the best, but you know it's not the cook's fault. Medium Wing: 11.5 / 15 Not *bad* but under-flavored. We believe they made the common mistake of using too much butter (just like your mother-in-law) which doesn't add spice or memorability, just tolerability. Specialty Flavors: 7.5 / 10 - Hot Wings: Highlight of the night... like a hug from mom - Garlic Parm: Frankly, a sloppy mess... like uncle Jim - Spicy Maple: More sweet than hot... like your brother's girlfriend - Bourbon BBQ: Dry but not in a bad way and definitely different from all the rest... maybe adopted It was nice to visit but we need to get going. See you at the next wedding/funeral! Couzins Overall: 36.5 / 50
