In the three years we've worked together, she has not only helped me accomplish all of that, she has taken me far beyond what I ever thought I could do. Jessica has this incredible ability to push me exactly when I need it, even in the moments when I would've quit on myself. Her workouts are always thoughtful, always tailored to my needs, and always spot-on. She listens, adapts, and somehow knows just how to challenge me while keeping the sessions fun (unless I'm gasping for air--but even then, she gets me talking again!). They have purposely named the trainers "coaches". The coaches are part educator, motivator, and community member. My favorite is the rowing machine. Not many people use this piece of equipment. There rower isn't an Aviron but it gets the job done. My only thing that Planet Fitness should change is the way to wipe down the equipment. I don't like the spray bottle liquid into a paper towel. I feel it doesn't clean the equipment down enough. Overall , I like Planet Fitness and will check out there locations in Arizona ( Phoenix area).

Throughout the day, it's pretty slow in general. As 6 or so approaches, you'll find yourself among the egotistic meat heads who will kick you off equipment or hog multiple pieces of equipment though they are using something else. You also get rush #1 of the high school kids. I had to tell one of them to calm down just last week because of the way he came at me to get his cable machine back. He was nowhere near the machine. When 8 rolls around, you have the worst crowd of the day. You have the second rush of high schoolers, who just let their friends in at will. There's almost no equipment available to use. There's a bunch of them just standing around talking. You can feel the vibe of their toxic egos. I mean, just imagine a gym in a high school and that's what you'll get around this time. Overall, I've learned I cannot go after work if I get off at 7:30PM. Otherwise, it's a decent place to go.

Thereafter, she video joined me in my apartment in the Bay Area for 1:1 training. She was great at adapting to not only my current state of fitness but also in the equipment I did/didn't have on hand and my space. I also suffered an injury at a certain point during our training, and she was so great in finding ways I could still push myself while giving body parts time to heal. If you're someone who wants to be challenged, Kristin is for you. I have worked out regularly previously, but I felt sore in so many new ways with Kristin. She really got me to challenge myself in l ways different than I had previously experienced. She introduced me to muscle groups I thought I knew but didn't. I loved that she would get specific about which areas (medial triceps vs triceps) we were targeting and where, so I could really focus on ensuring I felt the movements. She was also really flexible around my crazy work schedule and held me accountable to making sure we got in the number of workouts with her I told her I wanted to consistently hit.
