Honestly, if I could give it a negative rating I would. If you don't want to sign a crazy iron clad contract for a YOGA studio this is not your place. Why do I need to put in a 60 DAY notice to cancel a membership? I have never been in a situation with a gym like this in my life. The manager, Alyssa, is extremely unhelpful& comes across as quite rude & unwilling at all to help. What the girls at the front desk say & what she says do not align whatsoever. Prior to previous review replies from her, and according to the "contract", she IS able to pick & choose when to bend these rules ; and this is also confirmed from a friend that used to work there (she does not recommend). Overall steer clear, the sauna's are tiny & the mandatory equipment is super expensive & low quality. I would highly recommend the Lagree HD studio around the corner, they have actual reformers. Love HotWorkx! I get very shy in big gym settings, so I love being able to workout in a smaller space. The flexibility of being able to change classes last minute if you see that someone booked the sauna with you, but you wanted a solo session, is also a great perk! You guys are running an absolute racket and I will be sharing this with my friends and family who are members as well. It's outrageous what you charge people to cancel a membership, and then as some sort of consolation, you give the option to PAY to pause our memberships? And not a one time fee, it's monthly. If feels like you guys are a step above a multilevel marketing/timeshare scam. not to mention, you make it so difficult to even pause an account. No option for doing it online or by phone? What if someone has no means of transportation? Which is the case in my scenario. That means I'm being forced to pay a membership fee because of a disability preventing me from doing so in person. You should be ashamed of taking advantage of people in this way. read more

I've been coming to hotworx for about a year and a half. I started a year after I had my kiddo and gained all of my baby weight and then some back while breastfeeding. Since I started I have lost 65 pounds and I'm obsessed. Even if you could only make it here once a month the membership is so worth it. Really wanted to like this place but the membership package is a joke. First you have to pay the membership on top of the towel and mat, even if you already have your own. This is $200+ out the door just for the first month. Signed up and wanted to cancel two months in since I was asked not to use weights inside sauna, and to cancel you have to cancel with 60 days notice PLUS an entire month of membership = 3 months of pay. Option 2 : to cancel pay $99 out the door. After 2 months of membership, I've paid almost $450 between initial fees and cancellation. Seems really unfair to a new customer. would not recommend. read more

Started going about x1 week now. It feels so great everytime I end my workout. They have an app that tracks your progress, even after your done with your workout. Molly was so helpful and kind, and help us purchase some helpful items that will enhance our experience. As a busy parent I feel like a get a bigger exercise experience for the short amount of time. I have been a fan of indoor cycling for years and also have my own infrared sauna, so when I heard HotWorx was coming to Bend -- I was thrilled! The thought of doing a spin class in a sauna was like "my perfect workout"... and having the option to do yoga, pilates, and several other workouts in your own sauna space is ideal. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the space is perfectly set-up. I love that it's open 24-hours and I never have an issue getting in for my early workouts -- the personal access code makes everything easy. When I've had a question or needed help, I've been able to reach someone on the phone or at the front desk and each staff member has been accommodating. I love the heat and I love movement, most of all I love the privacy of the rooms. The variety of classes to choose from are amazing! Something for everyone! Also, you can stack your classes if you're feeling like doing more. I value the text option to talk to someone or book a room. Downside, as a member there isn't many rooms open at time slots I can go. Which is a wide range. I end up booking classes I'm not interested in, and waiting for a "no show"... that's frustrating since I have to juggle so much to go already. I don't go as often as I'd like because of that. It's clean, the staff is nice and resourceful, and the positives out weigh the negatives. Get your sweet on! read more

Absolutely awful customer service, we called to cancel our membership and was told we were good to go. After noticing that we were still getting charge two months after, I called to see what was going on. I was told that "Our staff knows that you have to sign paperwork to cancel our membership and can guarantee that you were told to come in to fill it out". We were never once told that we had to come in and it was icing on the cake that the manager was calling me a liar. Then to top that off, they decided to inform us that you have to pay an additional 2 months after cancelling. Which means we are essentially forced to pay an additional 4 months. When I asked if they would be kind enough to consider the last two months as our cancellation charge as their employees failed to mention the paperwork, the manager refused. The facilities are mediocre, if you want an actual workout, go to a real gym rather than this half assed facility that they charge ridiculously for. read more

I love the concept of this gym! It's super convenient to book out a space and know it's yours for the workout. However, the staff isn't the friendliest which brings down the experience. My recommendation would be to come during non-staffed hours. Really stinks because I've recommended this place to others & given them multiple sign ups. read more

I wanted to love Hotworx. What a great idea! But the place is run like an absolute shit show. If you have a monthly package, then it seems to be run well because you don't have to rely on the staff. I purchased 4 sessions and with this method, you can't book into the sessions yourself. You need the staff to book you, and let you in. The problem is they book me then are never there to let me in. They use the excuse "you weren't on the schedule " so The next time I asked for an email confirmation and they said they don't do that either. Out of 4 sessions I was no showed twice and on a 3rd time they were shocked that I was there. Megan gave me a free session and then no showed me for that too. read more

I'm a monthly member and I like to work out early, like at 4:30 AM, so this review is from that perspective. I love the concept and enjoy doing yoga in the saunas. I never have a problem with access or any sort of friction with other members. Everyone basically keeps to themselves focusing on their own workouts. read more

I tried this place out when I was visiting the area. The workout was amazing with the intensity of a long workout in half the time.
