The open gym has its own rig setup and all the equipment you could need. The location and facilities are just absolutely top notch! The coaches and owners are also just absolutely fantastic! The workouts are goal oriented, which I believe is imperative to measure success and strive towards a feeling of accomplishment. If you want to work hard, push yourself, and make personal gains, this is your place. That said, I wouldn't recommend it for someone who isn't willing to get out of their comfort zone.

Whether you have experience training in a gym or not, you will be in good hands at The House.

Programming focuses on training energy systems and becoming efficient with movement. Injury prevention and longevity are always a priority.

I've spent years in the "trenches" of high-intensity functional training, and I have a very high bar for what makes a fitness program effective. I know what makes a great fitness experience, and I have to say: Orangetheory Fitness in Bend has blown me away. I've been nothing short of impressed since joining, and it's quickly become my go-to spot (even despite also owning a Tonal, Peloton Bike and Peloton Tread at home!). Whether you are a seasoned athlete or just starting out, this studio delivers a top-tier experience. The PROGRAMMING is smart, science-backed, and incredibly effective - a perfect blend of cardio and strength that keeps things fresh and challenging every single class. It's definitely more cardio-focused than CrossFit, but also with a MUCH lower risk of injury! Also, the fact that I can get my workout in at 6:00 a.m. is great - and having the flexibility to attend a class even earlier than that, or during one of the many classes later in the day is a real bonus, too. But what really stands out is the COACHING. The coaches here are outstanding: energetic, knowledgeable, and somehow able to manage three rotating groups ("3G") seamlessly while motivating everyone, cracking jokes to keep it fun, and jumping in with spot-on form corrections. It's masterful - I've rarely seen that level of attention in a group setting, and can't tell you how hard it is to manage all that effectively. But they most certainly do just that. Special shout out to Coach Stephanie and Coach Sebastian - two of my favorites!!! The STUDIO itself is equally impressive. The EQUIPMENT is in fantastic condition (treadmills, rowers, weights, and even stationary bikes and a stair stepper for those who may be dealing with injury or disability - everything feels new and well-maintained), and the entire place is impeccably clean, from the workout floor to the spotless showers, lockers, and bathrooms. I particularly appreciate that sanitary wipes are set out at each station prior to class, folks are reminded to wipe their equipment down after use, and the room is cleaned by staff between classes in the event someone missed something. The TECHNOLOGY is another major standout: real-time heart rate feedback on the screens keeps you in the zone, and the app tracks your metrics over time so you can see real progress. That layer of accountability and motivation is hard to beat, and unlike anything I've seen elsewhere. Additionally, booking classes is a breeze through the app, and I've even dropped into other Orangetheory studios across Oregon - they're all consistently impressive. On top of all that, the COMMUNITY is incredibly welcoming. Both the coaches and members are friendly and supportive, making it easy to feel like part of the group right away. If you're looking to get leaner, build serious cardio endurance, boost overall fitness, and actually enjoy your workouts, this is hands-down the best choice in Bend. Got there and explained (I was 12 minutes late) and was denied entry. Was told it was for safety reasons which is absurd. Cancelled my membership and was told I had to give 30 days and would be charged another month. I agreed and then was charged an additional month beyond. Went in to talk to them and got all kinds of excuses as to details on when the payment fell in the month so they could charge another 30 days (that is 60+ days of gouging). So petty and definitely a petty money grab to get another $80 out if me.

The classes posted on the doors don't match up to the classes online. They do not turn on the heat in the hallways. You go from the sauna to a freezing cold hallway. Feels like you're gonna get sick. This gym is basically a daycare center mixed with an old people's home. They are always having events and closing the pools. They close early without notice and the hours here are horrible. There are homeless people lurking in the parking lots and come into use the facilities. Things get stolen as well. I cannot wait for there to be real adult fitness club in bend. Because juniper is garbage.

Most of the kids playing in the water ended up being temporary friends. Besides the splash pad, there is also a music section (with a xylophone) and some fancy swings. All very sun-exposed. There are several grass areas in the shade. There's also a shaded picnic table area, about 6 picnic tables.

I have been going here for about 3 years now, and I wouldn't want to train and workout anywhere else. I am with the Bend High School Women's Soccer team and we train with Sean Wells every school day morning. Sean and his whole team there put together precise workouts that make our team stronger and reduce our risk of injuries. They are so welcoming, and before I began to train there, I knew nothing about exercising in a gym and how to correctly weight lift but at Oregon CrossFit they were able to teach me how to train without injury and I never felt judged or stupid when I didn't know how to do something. Even now with the COVID-19 virus, our incredible trainer is still working his hardest and able to text us our workouts so we are able to stay on top of it. I appreciate them so much and highly recommend them! read more

Oregon CrossFit is a clean, motivating, group-encouraged environment, located in a very convenient downtown location. The coaches are knowledgeable in what they're teaching. Every question I've had during workouts has been answered fully and usually with great advice on making the movement more efficient. Beginners and Advanced are all made welcome. There's also a kids area which is amazingly helpful for parents who just want to get a chance to workout. There are classes starting at 5:30 in the morning all the way until 7ish. No matter what your schedule is you can typically find a time that's right for you. Oregon CrossFit is a healthy, encouraging place to call your own each week. When it comes to strength and athletic training, Oregon CrossFit can't be matched. I have been training at Oregon CrossFit since I was in 8th grade (now a junior in college) and I've never had a better training experience. Every time I train at OC my strength skyrockets while my athletic performance benefits as well. The training is taken seriously yet there is also a great sense of humor among everyone there. Oregon CrossFit cares about safety and the comfort level of their clients. When I train here, I am pushed to a point where I can gain the maximum benefit from my workout. Oregon Crossfit has got to be one of the best decisions I've made. Being an athlete & soccer player, there's certain lifting we should be doing to help with our sport. Sean and all of the staff do an amazing job of pin pointing exactly what we should be doing to get stronger. I've seen constant growth in myself, and all of the other athletes in the gym. Not to mention, I've always been "injury prone" and since I've started lifting, I've had close to no injuries. There's constant encouragement and help along the way. I never used to lift weights, in part because I worried I might hurt myself with poor form. Travis is one of the best coaches I've met, in any context. He's patient, precise, and supportive. Lindsay brings a level of humor and fun to workouts that doesn't take away from safety and motivation. If you want a place that really focuses on using good form, on keeping your body safe while getting and staying fit, this is it. Another reason I've stayed for four years and plan on working out here forever is the community. It's nice to greet and be greeted by workout buddies of all ages. I'm in my 50s. Just this morning I touched base with a guy in his twenties who usually takes the same class as me. He said to me, "hey, I noticed you've been looking stronger lately...thought I should share that with you." This from-the-heart comment really pumped me up, especially since I'm still in recovery from a minor surgery. And it echoed the motivating phrase painted in huge letters on the wall: Stronger Than Yesterday. Who is the ideal person for this gym? Anyone. Really. There are professional athletes who workout here, and there are retired folks. Nurses, project managers, desk jockeys. There's a middle aged couple whose four kids sometimes join the workouts. When my kids are old enough, I know they'll be welcomed here. There are 20-somethings and 40-somethings and 60-somethings. Some couples workout together, some go solo. Mon, Wed, and Fri when my alarm goes off at 6:20 I just want to go back to sleep. But then I say to myself, "you're always glad you went." So I go, and I AM always glad. And during the workout, most days at least, I do feel stronger than yesterday.

I am an older guy who has not done much in the way of any serious sports or weightlifting, so I run a bit counter to the Crossfit stereotype of the super-buff men and woman that you see in the videos. But this place attracts a really diverse range of people in terms of age, strength and abilities, and I also think women members actually may outnumber the men. Everyone I've met there is super friendly and really supportive of each other, which is important. And Ben is quite excellent and making sure that people do the workouts with good form to maximize the benefit and minimize the chance of injury. I really think this is the best and most cost-effective way to get and stay in shape and everyone should really be trying it out. I hope I see you there!
