The best car dealership, hands down!!! I got the best deal, no bs, hassle free, experience with Boss Benny! A&J damaged the windshield after Benny sent it for detail work, and didn't notice it til a few days later. Merely 2 tiny scratches....but Benny had the windshield replaced in no time with a brand new OEM glass. This guy even sent me a personal thank you card....who does that??? Skip the overheads and middleman- Benny owns and operate his dealership on his own, passing the savings to you! Lots of beautiful cars at a great price:) 2013 Lexus Update after almost a year of driving the car I had purchased from Benny. Rain, rain, and more rain the last few weeks. I found the back of the car flooded! Took it the dealership, but warranty had just expired a few weeks back. I decided to call Benny to find out more about the car's history. He then told me to take it to a shop and find out, and what ever the insurance won't cover, he will take care of it. Found out that a gasket behind the bumper's seal had deteriorated and water was coming in from there. Covered by the insurance, not Benny's fault, and he still paid my deductible(who does that?). Now I have an open case with Lexus since this could be from their manufacturing issue. Benny would always call to follow up on me and the body shop to make sure their doing their job and not adding more expenses. I'm surprised of the genuine support I got from Benny. He even said he will get my car detailed during this coming week, after all the rain stop. I now refer his business to friends and family who's looking for a great deal and service when purchasing a car- see him before you go to a big dealership! He's not expecting this review but I really felt that he went above and beyond and his business need to be praised for it. Experiences will vary, but at least mine is worth sharing read more

First of all, we are paying almost $5,000 for multiple engine/suspension repairs on the Buick Encore sold me 2 months ago. I believed I was leaving their car lot in a reliable and safe vehicle. Not only, were there parts, noticeably damaged, Boss auto put myself, my husband and my son in danger! "Driving a ticking time bomb" our certified mechanic had explained to us. Issues were the strut ( spoke to them about) I continued to drive the extra 4 hours , them knowing we had that issue along with sensor. In the 2 hours waiting they had only fixed sensor and windshield leak. In that time no one noticed the struts also had corroded coils, with and chunks out of the coil springs. Again, them saying " sound might be due to cold weather ".The Biggest issue with me is that the oil cooler had a major drip leak , constantly dripping on the catalytic converter, which is not only the hottest part of the car but could've started a fire at any time! This is upsetting because they put my son and family at risk for serious injuries! Last is the stabilizer link, had fluids leaking and had been for " quite some time". Our mechanic stated that these were all , obviously no wear and tear over the last 2 months of commuting and that these had to have happened long before. When I spoke to Danielle she was condescending and argumentative on phone and very defensive. read more

Benny is a breath of fresh air in the automobile business! I have dealt with many dealerships in my time, and would like to commend Benny on his honest, comfortable, relaxed and professional way of doing business. He knew his vehicles well, answered any questions I had honestly. There was no pressure to buy and, oddly enough, he seemed genuinely concerned that I find the right vehicle for my needs? That's so unusual in my experience. Benny has a great spirit, energy and attitude. I would be totally comfortable sending my 82 year mother to him to buy a car, because I know he will make the process easy, comfortable and fair. Why would you go anywhere else? Thank you again Benny! My sister loves her Acura! You're the best! read more

BUYER BEWARE! I'm sharing my experience hoping to help others who are shopping for a used car. This is simply to say that you have consumer responsibility to thoroughly research the vehicle you're interested in! I saw a 2011 Rav 4 on Craigslist, low miles, remaining power train warranty, and I was hooked on the low price. Upon my first test drive, there were some very obvious body flaws that I questioned. Benny assured me that it was a lease return, and just poor Toyota assembly. I was still interested so I had the vehicle mechanically inspected by Wheel Works and they indicated a faulty master cylinder. Benny offered to pay for that report and also take the vehicle to Piercey Toyota for a certified inspection. The Toyota inspection did not confirm the problem. Even though Benny provided a Carfax report which indicated no reported accidents, and he also assured me that the vehicle had not been involved in any accidents, I was still suspect. Benny was very accommodating in allowing me to take the vehicle to an auto body expert for another inspection. It was revealed that the vehicle had significant, and poorly done, body work. The two driver side doors, fender, and headlamps were not original, and the paint job had many flaws. We also pulled an AutoCheck by Experian report which provided detailed vehicle history confirming that the vehicle had been in an accident and had sustained significant damage to the left side and to mechanical components. I haven't made up my mind on whether I think Benny knowingly lied about the vehicle history, or if he had limited information because it was bought at auction. Either way, it doesn't matter because all I lost in this experience was the time it took to conduct my own very thorough research. Although this was a negative experience, I'm giving Benny 2 stars for accommodating my requests for all the inspections. I do think he knew I would eventually get to the bottom of it, and he didn't stop me from doing so. read more

I purchased a Toyota Prius from Benny at Boss Auto. It was one of the most pleasant and fun experiences I have had in buying a used car. Benny is a great guy and was open about all questions on the car and provided every detail possible in making the transaction smooth. Benny also got the Car detailed, fixed a couple of minor issues and also gave up his time to get a 2nd key made at the dealership.. On top of that he did not charge anything more than his cost on getting the key made. 5 STARS for Boss Auto... I will surely be recommending Benny to all my friends who are looking to purchase a used vehicle. The GOOD : EVERYTHING The BAD : Nothing read more

One of my friend introduced me to Benny. I got a excellent condition Infiniti G35 for amazing price. More than that Benny is a very good guy who do not force or influence your decision. He respects your opinion and help you get what you like. He is not like a typical dealers who sell and forget, he suggests and gives contact for your car needs like wash, oil change, paint job etc. Thanks a lot Benny! read more

I was recently entangled in a major 4-car accident that totaled my car and was in search of a replacement when I came across one of Boss Auto's Craigslist listings. There was no mention of the name "Boss Auto" anywhere and so I didn't have the opportunity to look up the yelp reviews until after I had purchased the car. Benny, the owner, was super-nice and helpful. He was very accommodating and made my husband and I comfortable throughout the entire process. None of that slimy-used-car-salesman-trying-to-push-a-car-you-don't-really-want vibe. None at all. Having only ever had purchased brand new vehicles from dealerships, the experience was a bit different, but again Benny walked us through everything with ease. No fancy offices or free coffee here, but great honest service and a smile from a guy you'd be glad to call a friend. Since this was a used car, we obviously wanted it to get fully checked out by a mechanic before we bought, and Benny was completely open to us doing so. Upon completion of the diagnosis, the mechanic said everything looked great and just that the rear brakes were worn and would need replacing due to normal wear and tear and that the front brakes would have about 6mo. to a year to go until those also needed replacing--depending on how we drove the car/aggressively we braked. Benny agreed to replace the rear brakes and when we came to pick up the car the next day--much to our surprise--had also paid to replace the front. Awesome! I'm now the happy owner of a lovely, low-mileage BMW 3-series and will definitely come back to Benny when my husband's car kicks the bucket. read more

I came across one of Boss Auto's craigslist listings when looking out for a used but relatively new (less than 3 years) japanese car as our 2nd car. As mentioned on another review, the craigslist ad does not mention Boss Auto, and actually even the place where we saw the cars didnt mention Boss Auto - it was only when signing the paperwork that the name Boss auto showed up and we were able to check the reviews. The GOOD: The selection of cars was great and the owner, Benny, was vey friendly and not a typical pressuring car salesman. The BAD: Before our purchase, Beni promised to get us the car manual and the 2nd set of car keys a week or so later -- but once we bought the car, he no longer seemed to even have the intention to get either. The UGLY: When renewing the registration, we were hit with a $400 registration fee and this was because the car registration fee for the past year (1 yr before we owned the car) was also due and so the DMV registration fee was for 2 years (1 yr past ,and the future 1 yr) I contacted benny to ask him to take responsibility for the registration fee for the 1 yr prior to us buying the car (approx $200), but he absolutely refused and not only that, seemed very unprofessional in handling my queries rudely. This was a surprising departure from his behavior before the car purchase and left an extremely poor taste souring our whole experience with him. We ended up paying for the overdue registration fees out of our pockets. Note to buyers - verify any "past due" fees PRIOR to buying -- dont expect any service from Boss Auto AFTER he has sold the car to you, even simple items like an extra manual, or stuff that he might promise to get fixed on the car "soon". read more

I saw their ad and think the price is good. So I went ahead to give it a try today. Due to my issue, I was late 30 minutes. The sales person didn't seem unhappy with me and he showed me two cars I am interested. When I ask questions about why do you only have low millage cars, why 6 years of weathering is heavier than I thought, why the carfax report has out of state companies, etc. he started to be unhappy. He answered but not all of them clearly to me since I don't have the knowledge about the process. I told him that I want to talk with people face to face and know if I can trust him to do business. He started to be unhappy. He is eager to show me on his phone that many of his clients are satisfied and trust him so much etc. He told me that he got the best price and plus 2 month warranty that nobody will provide(which I agrees in my heart totally!). But when I ask who is going to warranty it, he doesn't want to make it very clear to me. In the end, I was told I should not try to know deeper about a person in order to do business. At this stage we have to stop the talk. To me I always ask questions related to the car and nothing personal to the sales like age, pay, where do you live, etc. I did mention that my wife is picky and still under recovery from a car accident. I can tell if a person is honest or not with business related conversations. I don't feel I am welcomed and should do any business here. read more

Let this be a Warning! I figured out what my password to my yelp account was just to write this review to warn others. This guy is sketchy. Don't buy from him. We were looking for an SUV. The car seemed ok upon first glance. Checked CarFax, looked good. Checked AutoCheck, flagged for 1 accident with a police report case number. We asked what the accident was. The dealer said he didn't know and had no way of knowing and had other people who were interested in the car. He persisted to go through his phone and try and show us texts from other customers interested in the car. He went so far as to say he would put other customers on speaker to prove it. Probably BS sales tricks, but the car was priced aggressively so I'm sure we weren't the only people interested in it. Should have left there but we really liked the car so we hung in for a little bit longer. He had Wheel Works check out the car, and they didn't find anything. We insisted on having our own mechanic check it out and we paid out of pocket to make sure we weren't getting a lemon. Best decision we ever made. Our mechanic looked closely at the paint and showed the car had been in an accident. We then popped open the panel from the inside and found the the car had extensive work done from hammer marks on the metal. We then brought the car back to the dealer and asked what price he would like to give us now that we had PAID to get it checked out only to find that it had in fact been in an accident. He said that he had bought it on a margin and that he wouldn't lower the price at all. From other reviews it sounds like we are not the first people to have CarFax show the car as clean but find that it had been in an accident later. You've been warned. read more

This guy gives used-car dealers a bad name. He promised us a car, said he had someone else who wanted to buy it but he would sell it to us. He said he had it checked out at Wheel Works, but never provided us with an inspection report. When we said we wanted to have it checked out by a mechanic, he said sorry he was selling it to someone else. I just looked on Craigslist and saw the car is still posted so who knows. read more

The reason why I give this place 5 stars is because the owner, he was really friendly and helpful. He sold me a BMW 2007. The car I bought from him was his personal ride, he used this BWM to get around, but he's selling this car for his own reason. It was cheap and low mileage. Everything looked good from the outside but unfortunately the car had a major oil leak issue. Benny also didn't notice the problem. The cost to repair everything was about $880, but Benny shared half of the expense to help me fix my car. He was a very nice guy, he would help you, and walk you through all the problems. He would spend hours with you to make sure that you leave satisfied. I know buying a used car is a very tough decision, we all want something good, low mileage, cheap, and reliable. Yet, a car is just a machine (everything comes with a prize), if you don't maintain it well, then even you drive a Ferrari, it will still break down on you. Now, I don't know if Benny was honest to me or not when he sold me this BMW, but he had nothing to hide from me, he would let me take the BMW to do inspection elsewhere, and provided me the car fax. He even recommended me to places that offered cheaper labour cost to fix my BMW. I would recommend Boss auto to people who want an affordable vehicles. But, then again I give this place 5 stars not because of its products, but for the owner. If you buy used car, you should know what to expect from it. read more

This is BOSS AUTO replying--- People please help Mr. Devon and Rosemary-- Sound alike..This is not how review should be written Both these people asked for a discount and I simply refused to give it to them! Mr DEVON stated he wanted a discount? you shouldn't get mad when you asked for a discount to buy a vehicle and we/I simply refused to give it to you. I also remember telling both these people why they would even consider buying a shirt if it doesn't fit them properly or you are UNHAPPY with it--or believe doesn't look good? Just because you are getting a few dollar off? In this case why are you so upset for not buying something you believed is a bad vehicle or product.??? In case if you forgot it was me who authorized you to take the vehicle wherever you wanted to- including the body shop. So, if I have something to hide from both of you then why would I let you do that? If we have had the car inspected by a third party like- Wheel works shop -and found nothing wrong -what then exactly we're supposed to do? We're not obligated to sell it to you for your price or what you wanted to pay for it. This an honest dealership-will definitely continue avoiding or dealing with people like Mr.Devon and Rosemary who put money before their interest. We will continue letting people make their own decision without any influence- TRUE review usually doesn't work that way..you should learn to walk away from things you don't feel comfortable with--NOT ASK FOR A DISCOUNT--then when that doesn't work, shouldn't write your misguided review..because you are mad for not getting it-- If any dealer sells a car without any notification with the word " AS IS" then later on Mr. Devon and Rosemary find out they purchased a lemon then they would write a review saying that XYZ dealership is a crook..Sold us a lemon--etc On the other hand--when XYZ dealership performed complete inspection, provided a carfax, and still allows customers to also inspect a potential vehicle for purchase by their own mechanic-before any exchange of money then instead of writing the truth they express their frustration on yelp by claiming their warning people. Because they couldn't have it for less..Especially on the car they described has been involved in a big accident and has gone through in an extensive body damage work --and yet they still liked it and want to have it for less --instead of leaving they hung on at the dealership to see if they can get it for a discount..FUNNY--..and this supposed to be a review? Give me a break! Glad didn't let you! read more

I had 2 estimates done on the "Certified" vehicle that Benny sold me. The 2nd estimate was over 1900.00. This man LIES! LIES! LIES! He advertises on craigslist! Buyer Beware! Have the car gone over by a body shop before you buy. You'll be happier knowing you did. read more

I'm very pleased with the car and the service I received here. Benny was super helpful and made the process of getting my first car run very smoothly. All the cars are of good quality and the best part is that they all have low mileage. I'm very happy with this this car and I would definitely come back here again. Benny is also a very nice and friendly guy which is a huge plus. I didn't feel like he was trying to push anything over on me or sell me a car I didn't want. Cars are good but unorganized paper work. Very expensive deal and you might later find problems in car and spend more with mechanics/DMV etc... So better to negotiate and ask for car fax and every report. Be smart, negotiate. Take road-side assistance with insurance if you are buying a car from this place. You never know. read more

I was looking for a used Prius and saw the ad on Craiglist. Contacted the business and Benny was the guy called my back. He obviously has several prius. It was a very simple car lot and seems running in low overhead. This is how you can get good price from. Many people would have suspicion about the creditability of such as dealer. But Benny explained openly how he get the cars and why he can sell quality car at lower than other dealer's. After seeing and test drive a 2015 Prius, we liked it and come back to purchase it the day after but the car was sold. We looked at another prius but it is a smaller Prius C. At the end, we like it but since there was another Prius C from another place that we also considered, we did not make decision to purchase Benny's. Benny was open and tried to be helpful after I told him about the other Prius C we have looked at. He actually think that was a good deal. Although at the end we did not buy from Benny but I want to say he's been so helpful and courteous. I know some people wrote low rating review about Benny but I think as long as you do your homework, Benny is a great guy to work with throughout such a process. read more
