I did a little research, found this office, and scheduled an appointment. Their appointments are on time. Both visits I didn't have to sit in the waiting room for more than a couple minutes. It's a nice change from previous offices I've been to. The hygienist was great. She does a very thorough job without feeling rushed. She definitely takes her time with my teeth. Dr. Green (the son) was very informative and professional. Any imperfection in my teeth was explained to me. He also used some of his tools/mirrors so I was able to see the tooth in question. He hasn't rushed me into any treatment either. In short, I've found my new dentist.

As of a few days ago, I made my first emergency phone call due to a broken tooth. Dr. Green did not hesitate to find an immediate solution; I was able to visit his office last minute and within an hour or two he had turned my smile back to normal. He is incredibly dependable and I cannot recommend him enough!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hutniks since the very beginning. I have written many reviews in…read morepraise of not only his extraordinary talent as a practitioner, but his obsession with staying in lockstep with the latest innovations in dentistry, his professional but welcoming staff, his comfortable, relaxing office. And his consistent devotion to the welfare of his patients above all else that has not changed since day one. But I never appreciated him more than when I recently underwent an emergency root canal procedure with him.. It seems Dr. Alex has a whole separate gear to handle these situations. It began with a slight nagging toothache, very minor, but concerning because I am fortunate enough to never get toothaches. On a whim, I called the office (closed-it was 6 p.m. on a Sunday), debated, then chose the option for the emergency line and left a message. Within 10 minutes, I received a call back from Dr. Alex, who was on vacation at the time. As always, he showed deep concern, and asked questions to which I replied that I felt I was not in crisis. (I am prone to self-diagnosis which, honestly, rarely works out). "Just too much aggressive flossing". He offered to send an RX for antibiotics and pain killers just as a precautionary measure. I declined-so very sure I would not need them. Ha! He suggested alternating OC Anti-inflammatory and painkillers to help with the pain. Monday being a holiday, he told me to come into the office on Tuesday AM at opening and he would take me right away. Fast forward to 1 a.m. on Tuesday and awakening with a throbbing, excruciating pain the likes of which I have never experienced before. Yes, an abscess on my gum the size of Texas and, as we discovered later, an infected tooth. Dr Alex was in the office waiting for me and saw the problem immediately. He and his staff sprung into action and in the next hour and a half, performed the first of two non-invasive stages of a root canal procedure in a completely painless manner. And with the aid of state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment with amazing precision. But most of all, with caring and respect. Pain gone. Two weeks later, I returned for the final phase and am now in recovery. Still no pain! How do you thank someone enough for setting the gold standard for patient care? Try and tell the world.

Unbelievable lied straight to my husband's face. If you have Delta dental, I don't recommend you go there. Truly, the dentist was unable to properly numb the area before starting the process. He took numerous x-rays before, during and after. I was in the chair for over 2 hours, and left in pain. The pain continued over the next 7 months and I'm now facing the prospect of having the root canal redone or removing the tooth per advice of a qualified endodontist as there's an infection causing bone loss. When I arrived, they took X-rays and the dentist came in, but instead of focusing on the cleaning I had booked, he spent most of the appointment trying to push orthodontic treatment. He made several comments about my "large teeth" and crowded mouth that felt unnecessary and condescending. It didn't feel like a consultation. it felt like a sales pitch. When I explained that I wasn't interested in orthodontics and just wanted the cleaning I had scheduled, I was told they couldn't do a regular cleaning and that I needed a deep cleaning due to gum disease. This was surprising, as I get cleanings 3-4 times a year and had my last one less than four months ago. Despite explaining this, he insisted a regular cleaning wasn't an option. I ended up leaving and driving to my previous dentist, where I received a routine cleaning and was told I do not have gum disease. Overall, the visit felt more focused on upselling than patient care, and I won't be returning.
