Ethnic eats are always one of my favorites and Bo's Kitchen does an EXCELLENT job with Korean food! I finally tracked down Bo's truck over in Mordecai. They park at Pilot Point office complex from time to time and I had never been there before. Their truck is super spiffy and nice, I order up some bulkogi and spicy pork mandu since it's my first visit and who knows when I'll get back. Bo leans out the the truck window and offers up some complimentary Sac grape soda, cool! Super refreshing, they actually can it with some grapes inside. 10 minutes later my food comes out and it's all awesome. A large heaping portion of tender beef bulkogi over rice and with some scrambled egg. The mandu are folded dumplings and fried perfectly, excellent. What an impressive meal, it felt like some Korean home-cooking to me. My only thought was that a touch more spicing and flavoring would have benefited the food but it was still darn good. So glad to finally meet you, Bo! And looking forward to visit #2...

Bo's Kitchen is definitely one of my favorite food trucks around the area. I sometimes find myself craving their food so I have to track them down! Plus, Bo is a friendly guy! I usually order the Beef or Spicy Pork Mandu which are amazing Korean dumplings but today I decided to branch out and ordered the Spicy Pork with Rice. A generous portion of spicy pork over rice with a scrambled egg for only $10, it was so tasty! Next time I will be trying the Bulgogi. What a delicious Korean food truck, a must try!

The family that runs this food truck couldn't be nicer and the food is incredible. I got the spicy pork bowl and when it comes mixed with the eggs ,rice and extra gochujang it cant be beat. I really wish I could eat lunch with these guys a few times a week and anytime its remotely possibly for me to catch them, im going to be there. Ive had alot of korean BBQ and these guys make some great stuff. Hopefully they will carry some galbi on the menu soon too maybe to combo with the bowls!

This has to be one of the best food trucks in the triangle. I love trying new things and Bo's kitchen was calling my name when parked outside of Lynwood Brewing Concern the other evening. Wow, these dishes aren't necessarily something I was looking for, but I am so glad I found them. Bulgogi is a traditional Korean dish, and per the food truck is one of the most popular Korean dishes in the world. So I had to try it! Impressed overall- a tad on the spicy side which I enjoyed. This dish came out (very big!) with rice, shaved ribeye, eggs, gerkin, and lettuce. The sauce the dish was served with was amazing, on the sweeter side with a late spice. As I was waiting for my order I got to see some of their dumplings come out, these looked just as good if not better. I would recommend, try something new- this place is awesome and different! Eat on!

With the absence of the Kokyu food truck from the Triangle scene, Bo's Kitchen definitely fills a void for Korean bbq. My favorite by far is the mandu although everything that I have had has been great. Of the different meats the pork and beef are highlights, I wasn't as big of a fan of the chicken. And not only is the food great, but the service is also amazing. The guy who takes the orders (maybe it's Bo?) is so friendly and a pleasure to interact with. The truck rotates between Raleigh and Durham and is definitely worth tracking down. Also, Bo's Kitchen and Bulkogi food truck are collaborating to open up a brick-and-mortar spot called Namu in Durham-- can't wait to try them out!

Went to my first Durham Food Truck Rodeo today and this truck was at the top of my list to visit. I've heard great things about Namu, the restaurant that the truck owner also has in Durham. I asked for a good recommendation and he said the bulgogi was the most popular item. I've had that before, so I opted for the mandu, a Korean dumpling, over rice. I paid around $10 for four mandu sitting on a bed of lettuce with rice and a side of jalapeños, pickles, and a spicy sweet sauce I poured over the dumplings. The dumplings themselves were delicious! They were so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I got the spicy pork filling and it was more sweet than it was spicy. I enjoyed the meal and it came out pretty quickly and was filling.

Bo's blew me away last night (and this morning). Last night I was at House of Hops and Bo's Kitchen was parked out front. Menu had about 10 or 12 items on it. Authentic Korean food that definitely got me excited! I misread a number and asked for #2, which was bread. I wanted the Spicy Pork with rice. Turns out it was #3. The man, owner Gavin Bo Kwan, remade my order in a flash with no problems whatsoever. He even brought it into House of Hops to find me so I didn't have to stand out in the cold. $9. Spicy pork in just the right amount of sauce with some sticky white rice, fried egg, a tiny dill pickle, a few small jalapenos, and a light bed of greens below it. I wasn't starving, but it was so good that I woofed it out. Other people really enjoyed their bulgogi and kimchi. Mine was glorious. Still, I couldn't quite finish it all. I ate it for breakfast this morning and instantly wanted more. I'm planning on tracking Bo's Kitchen food truck and getting some more of that as soon as I can!

All I can say is...O.M.G. it's been a long time since I've had a dumpling I've enjoyed so much. Bo's Kitchen recently filled in during Food Truck Friday at the Crescent. At first, I wasn't sure if I wanted to try it as I haven't had good luck getting Asian food from a truck. Well, Bo's Kitchen was a amazing! My coworker and I split three orders of the mandu (we tried both the beef and the spicy pork) and as soon as we took a bite, we were WOW'd. Just the right amount of crunch and with their special sauce drizzled over, the dumplings didn't need any additional sauce. The dumplings are also laid on a bed of spring mix and once you're done eating the dumplings, the leftover sauce from the dumplings on the salad: yummy goodness. My other coworkers ordered the bulgolgi and raved about it as well. There were no complaints from our department. The main dishes (bulgolgi, spicy chicken, spicy pork, etc) came with either rice or bread and a few korean banchan (aka sides such as kimchi, egg, etc) and a drink for only $9. The dumplings came in quantities of 4 and cost $6. That's a bit high for dumplings in my opinion, but totally worth it. Finally, the last best thing is that both Bo (Gavin) and his wife Ashley are SUPER sweet. Next time Bo's Kitchen comes around, we'll definitely be there. edit: They don't have a website yet, but you can follow their twitter to find their truck: twitter.com/boskitchen14. Yelp wouldn't let me add it to the business profile.

Delicious! There are a good amount of korean food trucks in the triangle, but if you're wanting authentic korean, bo's kitchen is where it's at. No korean tacos or philly cheesesteaks here: they serve straight up bulkogi with rice and veggies. legit. As plain and simple as it sounds, bo's actually gets it right. they don't need to make korean fusion and add cheese, salsa, etc. The meat and veggies are actually super flavorful and the scrambled eggs and rice all complement the dish. It's perfection. You also get your money's worth here too. Expect to be super full after ordering here. Oh I also like to get the mandu with spicy pork on top. Don't be deceived, this is also super filling--they don't skimp out on meat here at all. Also comes with the spring salad.

Oh man....Bo's has been on my to-try list for awhile, so as soon as I spotted it at Brewgaloo, I wasted no time in ordering. I ordered the Spicy Pork with Rice with a side of the Spicy Pork Mandu (dumpling). The price was fairly average for a food truck: $8 for the main dish and $4 for a side. The spicy pork was a giant portion and the dumplings were a satisfying size. I haven't seen spicy pork with a side of eggs before but when I mixed everything, wow! The flavor was all there and it was incredibly savory. In fact, I only managed to walk a few steps away from the truck before I was shoveling it down. Like the other reviews mentioned, the food from Bo's tastes like homemade Korean food. Bo's is a must-try food truck!

Pork Mandu with Meat - Beef Bulgogi

Excellent food truck!! I love the straightforward ordering of meat and rice, dumplings and rice, or meat and dumplings!! The dumplings were nice and crispy on the outside, definitely fresh out of the fryer, but juicy on the inside. The portions were awesome for what you paid, and the flavor was exactly what I want when I'm craving a spicy, fatty, sightly sweet Korean food. The owner is super friendly! Can't wait for these guys to come back!

This Korean BBQ bulgogi is delicious. The ingredients are fresh and the food is made quickly. Their food truck comes to my job occasionally, and it's definitely an employee favorite. I recmmend the spicy chicken. Very good!

a plate of dumplings and a salad

Food was awful and overpriced for what I got. 4 piece greasy mess for $7. Hope you do well with my $7 donation. The sauce should be banned, awful as well.

Fantastic food. I love authentic Korean food, but was hesitant to try a food truck. I was dead wrong, this place is a hidden gem!
